I’m not gonna lie, this year has sucked for me for the most part; and saying goodbye to my best friend’s Mom today was another tally for the tender. I wear my heart on my sleeve and apparently on my face too when I’m playing a song for someone who was like a second mother to me my whole life. Carol Eckstrom was one of the biggest supporters and encouragers of my music and art. She would show up to one of my shows at 10 pm on a Wednesday night in Chinatown, (even if she had work in the morning) just to come listen to my set and show support. Thanks Mama Carol for always giving me words of wisdom, encouragement and loving me like one of your own. I’ll honor your life by continuing what you told me to do, which was share my heart and talents with the world. Miss you ❤️
