Jon had never had a very active social life even before joining the institute. If asked, most people would describe him as an acerbic, pompous, lonely workaholic, and frankly he couldn't disagree. It only got worse following his promotion and subsequent transfer to the Archives. However, Tim seemed determined to change that! …Via a social club advertisement he found wrinkled and destitute in a filing cabinet from who knows how long ago. Wonderful.
Truly it wouldn't be so bad if the place wasn't filled with monsters straight out of his worst nightmares and numerous people who wanted to kill him. He was probably hallucinating. Hopefully.

If that’s alright with you,” explains Tim airly, as if he weren’t perfectly aware that it’s absolutely an extreme divergence from his original request. And as worrying as that thought is, it’s also strangely endearing in its own way. He struggles to hold back a breathy laugh as he leans down to kiss his cheek, and only then do Jon’s green eyes snap up to look at him as he almost jumps out of his own skin. “Good morning.” Martin simpers at him. “Good lord–” Jon clutches his chest. Though he’s unable to not return the gesture for long as the corners of his mouth gradually pull up in a timid smile, and his cloudy gaze eases with recognition like he just watched the sky clear.

The idea wouldn't leave Elias' head. It was curiosity, filthy, filthy curiosity that he couldn't quite satiate. The statement and Letiner were dropped in the institute, artifact storage got the book and they were going to give the statement to Jon, until one of them proceeded to check it out and then decided best not to. That surprised Elias enough to go investigate So Elias gets the statement and a stilted explanation that was trying to appear technical while in reality, the poor woman was trying to save face about how much she knew regarding what manga and hentai was. He also got a glimpse of her own…curiosity about the artifact. Oh? Fantasies are fantasies, he won't begrudge that, but this particular one is… Nevertheless. He takes the statement to read it in his office. The reality is, that if Jon got to read this one the man would combust or call HR for sexual harassment and misconduct of behaviour for being forced to read that, even if technically it still applies as a perfectly good and valid statement if not very pornographic. He is a bit mesmerized by the thing, mostly because it didn't end in horrible, horrible death, surprisingly enough.
