Las Vegas Luxury Bunker

Very short moody vaporwave piece I did for the No Requests: Live! playlist. It's also one of the few songs I opted to mix directly in Audacity over Cakewalk.

Basically, I made some Jazz chords, bass, and drums in LMMS and recorded them all straight into Audacity. I added reverb and then slowed it down by half.

The title is a direct reference to a real life underground house made during the cold war by an executive of a certain MLM.

It's a very surreal and kinda eerie place, and definitely an interesting rabbit hole to fall down if your into liminal spaces and the dreamcore aesthetic. Footage of this house is actually used very briefly in the video when I talk about the artificial replacing the natural.

Experimental Scanner Photography

I was experimenting with using a scanner for Stop Motion and then immediately decided to explore the aesthetic with a really fast photoshoot. All photos except the one in the center were taken using a Canon scanner on either a felted doll or my face. The dolls depict the characters Sam Datum and Newton Clementine from Doom x Sugar Cookies.

Each photo has been edited in Affinity Photo and do not represent the original raw photos taken by the scanner.

Shout out to @big-red-button-official for helping me with the concept and holding down some of the dolls.

No Requests: Live! Disclaimers and Error Screens

Some graphic design-y elements for the No Requests: Live! first episode. The Disclaimer is a pastiche of old FBI warnings you'd see on Nickelodeon and Disney VHS tapes. The Technical Difficulties page apes the style of old cafe Pin-ups, and the Error Card spoofs analog horror.
