‘Autumn Journey in Central Park’ is a video I created from dozens of clips I shot throughout the 843-acre green in Oct./Nov. 2017. I used only an iPhone and tripod and edited in the Lumafusion app. When I worked at AOL, I learned to shoot and create mostly 2-3 minute news videos, so in terms of vision, scale and creativity, this lengthier video is by far my most ambitious. My main challenge without a storyline was to find ways to keep viewers interested throughout, so I picked the best, most diverse clips and wrote an outline detailing how best to sequence the various scenes.

I opted to not include musical overlays because I thought the various raw sounds surrounding each scene were more interesting and in tune with my vision for this piece. I hope you enjoy it and feel free to share it far and wide. Thank you! (Contact: jkellard@kellardmedia.com)
