someone reminded me awhile go that corpse bride came out twenty years ago and i've been sitting with that information for awhile now. it genuinely just feels like yesterday i went down the cinema to watch it with my brothers. i'm filming in europe for the next month but i would love to do this when i'm back in LA. i know chloe would love to do this as well. so tell me, who are you inviting?

yes, that really does it and those look back things. like one that song you like as a kid is like twenty years old now, and it's hitting, you know? perfect, could always use more friends to hang with. yes, we can make a double date out of it of sorts. i know who i'd bring, even if it's not a date thing for me and them, but i feel they'd have a nice time.

i am indeed, it'll take me about a month to finish. i'll bring you all the necessary snacks when i get back, just send me your list. i'll even get an extra suitcase, if necessary. it's going well, i think we've narrowed down our favourites and now we just need our realtor to do their magic. chloe is a very easy person to love, she's perfect. you finally get to be at home while he brings home the bacon? just what you deserve this summer. when does their summer break start?

You're in Europe? Infinitely jealous - and now I'm obliged to ask you to bring me Maltesers when you come back to visit me. We've reached that level of friendship. How's house hunting going? Stressful or okay so far? I adore Chlo right back, she's got my stamp of approval, no questions asked. No rush, just whenever you're in town and I'm still here and not traveling, let me know! Everybody's doing well. John's working, I get to live out my 'sit at home and eat crisps and keep an eye on a seven-month-old' fantasies. At least until the girls are out of school for the quarter, then I'll have three heads to look after.

oh gosh, what an invitation. i really hope we'll be able to make it. i'm filming in europe and we're still house hunting but i'll do what i can to get away from work for a few days. i'm not exactly sure what chloe's schedule looks like but i know she adores you, so we will most definitely be there. especially if we're getting a roast dinner for our trouble. you know just how to sweeten the pot. how's john? how're the girls?

josh: the credit mostly goes to the photographer and the amazing loewe collection, but very glad to hear that you approve, my love. josh: i grew up with animals, so i was hoping you would say that. first step to having a family, right? a little four-legged fur child to love. apollo just needs lots of lovin' and treats and he'll eventually be okay with being a big brother. let's close on the house and i'll finish filming in europe and then we can go look right away. josh: thank you for making my birthday feel so incredibly special. my 35th year couldn't have started any better. you make every day feel like a party though, something i didn't think was possible before. josh: i'll have to take you to the next premiere. i want to walk the red carpet with you next time.

aging really doesn't hit you until you see the stuff you enjoyed as a kid be considered a classic now. very here for being bros. would actually be my honor. ohh, yes. i'd very much like that. i could invite my girlfriend along and you could bring someone, if you've got someone special in your life? those things are so much fun in a big group.

i know, i've felt a bit old myself lately with looking back at some of these unappreciated classics. maybe we do, shows we're just in sync, like bros or something, am i right? i haven't, so maybe we can do together? i think that'd be something fun for us.

josh: i have no problem admitting that you're the one that's worthy of all the looks. you're a show-stopper, in all the ways my darling. you're wonderful and i don't know what i did to deserve you. josh: speaking of houses, the realtor messaged me about a home in the hills that seems perfect for us. it's large enough to build you your home studio and the grounds are huge, more than enough space for my greenhouse. the yard is fenced in, so we could get a dog too. plus it was made in the 1920s, so it has all the historical features i like. hate being away but once all of this promo is done, i can focus on us for the next month. josh: oh really now? sad i'm away on my actual birthday but i'm looking forward to seeing what you've got in store for me. josh: consider me very curious and very nervous xo

i'm so lucky you have a beautiful, forgiving heart, pops. i wish i could tell you i even remember the last time we chatted, it truly has been that long. more daemon targaryen to come? oh, how i love this. you're such a london boy that i have a hard time imagining you anywhere else. how long are you filming for? i'm currently in cannes promoting two films, but after that i'm taking a little break. house hunting in los angeles and trying to feel normal after a long work stretch.

I forgive you for being bad at keeping touch. Just this once. It has been a minute, hasn't it? But I'm buzzing to hear from you, made my day. I'm good! Still alive, currently filming House of the Dragon, but I'm still in London, though I feel like I live out of a suitcase most days. You know how it is, long days, and very questionable catering. let's agree that busy careers and adult lives are keeping us apart and give each other grace. i saw that you've booked another film project and i'm so proud of you. how's the planning going? have you and olivia finalized everything now? sounds like you deserve a beach break before the big day to relax. i am, it's a busy time but i'm hoping to get everything settled before boston and then chloe and i can continue house hunting. really want to give her the home of her dreams.

Please don’t bring up how long it’s been since we last spoke to each other because I will immediately fall into a pit of guilt and I won’t know what to do with myself after.
