Fiyero was a virgin before “as long as you’re mine”

idk if this has already been talked about but here’s why we think fiyero was in fact a virgin in the events of the musical.

in the book, fiyero mentions that he married his wife, Sarima, a virgin and that he never had an affair until getting with elphaba, however sarima is not a character in the musical. the song “as long as you’re mine” itself is a reference to elphie and fiyero consummating their relationship and in the deleted lyrics from the San Francisco try outs, it is clear that he similarly to in the books was a virgin.

the deleted lyrics read:

“what am I doing,

What’s this I feel?

The boy who was certain,

That love isn’t real.”

This information makes fiyeros question at the end of the song, “what is it?”, make more sense for he is unsure of his actions and thinks that he is doing something wrong, however it is actually elphaba sensing her sister, nessa, is in danger.

Anastasia Headcanon

So we all know that Anastasia and Demetri had at least one moment when they were young children. 

However after watching the movie tonight and thinking about the instant dislike they have for each other I had a thought. 

What if, while he was working in the palace, Dimitri and Anastasia have a relationship similar to the one we see? Anastasia plays a trick on Dimitri and when he tries to get back at her she tells on him and he gets in trouble. So they have this back and forth antagonistic childhood relationship until Dimitri saves Anastasia. 

I personally thought that that blow to the head causes Dimitri a little memory loss as well so they only thing he remembers about the princess is saving her yet when he meets Anya he has this automatic urge to give her a hard time.

Meanwhile Anya sees this man for the first time and she had no idea why but she wants to torment him a little bit. I think that is the first moments of her memory coming back and who really brought all of this out in her….Dimitri. 

So in my opinion this:

is just those two getting back to where they were when they were kids.
