Art for Entombed by @jowiththeflow

It’s a magnificent fic. Really, I can’t find the words to describe just how good, how alive, how real it’s written. You feel the action in your bones, descriptions in your mind, the dialogues deep in your soul. It’s a superpower - to write like that. I really wanted to gift @jowiththeflow a piece of my appreciation.

I've been a reader of Btbh for a decently long time, and one day, I went to reread and clicked on your profile and saw Entombed.
I'm a sucker for time travel fics and had a decent tangential knowledge of JJK, so i started reading, put it down, binged all of JJK, and then finished it. You singlehandedly got me into this series. Entombed is so good.
I really liked Ch 10! The playful cloud scene was great for showing Suguru's mental state, and Yaga being Yuuji's pseudo therapist was very sweet.
Thanks for writing!
Welcome to the dark side~
I love JJK, I think it's a base story that has a lot of complexities and depth built into it, and the characters are all so complex and fascinating. I'll always be pleased as peach to get others into it, especially via the pathway of Entombed. That makes it sound like my fic is a gateway drug.
One of my favorite things about this is the opportunity to breakdown characters so intensely. Suguru, the thoughts in his head. Yaga, who he was before he became a principal. Yuuji, who's strong and relaxed but carries deeper wounds than he lets on. That's why some of these simpler chapters really please me. There's not a whole lot of plot, not really, but I get to sit in a sandbox and build castles anyway.
And thank you for reading!! You have no idea how pleased I am to see that you gave this fic a chance, and not only that, you enjoyed it. Readers like you keep writers going.

Chapter 10 felt so cosy. I have no other words for it. Yuuji teaching Riko to cook, the banter that precedes it, the conversation they have, the way Yuuji describes life in 2020—it's so warm. And then you have Satoru saying he wishes Yuuji would be selfish selfishly, which makes sense to the reader but does not make any sense at all to Yuuji himself. And then the other parts of the chapter, with Geto asking for lessons with Playful Cloud, Yuuji describing how the weapon is good against him and saying absolutely nothing about how lethal it'd be in his own hands. Geto's inexplicable irritation at Satoru and Yuuji doing dumb kid shit together. Yuuji’s certainty in his strength to Yaga, and how it makes him feel like Nobara. The way he carries his loved ones now like he carries the Death Paintings he ate. Every chapter is a treat, and makes me even more excited for every future one
Chapter 10 was my comfort chapter before I start up a relatively big plot line and it showed apparently, lol.
I love love love love love the relationship between Riko and Yuuji and I can't say that enough. The grounds on which it was founded are so unique to me, and it tickles my brain just right whenever I explore Riko coming to terms with the fact that Yuuji replaces Kuroi, technically, and while he's nice and someone special to her on his own, he never will actually replace Kuroi.
Satoru is forever baffled by how much of a good person Yuuji is. He's not used to seeing sorcerers that genuinely care like how Yuuji does (a little like how Satoru himself does, though he does his best to hide his genuine concern behind a veneer of idiot behaviors).
I've actually always thought that it was kind of a shame that Yuuji never got to use Playful Cloud! It would have been so epic with how he fights. I'll fix this oversight of Gege's somehow, don't worry.
I like the shape of Yuuji's grief in Entombed. I like how quiet it is; he doesn't cry his eyes out after tucking himself into bed at night (at least not on screen) or scream to the heavens about the unfairness of it all. Instead, his grief takes place in the little moments between moments—the realization that he's confident like Nobara used to be confident, or that he's reading the case reports like how Megumi used to read the case reports. And in turn, he accepts that grief. He shelves it, and he examines it a little further when he need to, but these moments of similarities bring him the tiniest comforts to get himself by.
As always, you know what I'm going to say. Thanks so much for reading and for sending me this ask, I'm so glad you enjoyed this chapter too :)

You know what time it is!!
Another fantastic chapter. Really loved all the povs this time. Geto reaching out to Yuuji, Yuuji reaching out to Riko! I truly hope they become the best of friends 😭 and perhaps one day she'll get to hear Yuuji talk about his time as a vessel. Also her calling him senpai and giggling when it takes Yuuji by surprise 🤭 silly. I love it.
And I should have come back to comment about the worm because when I reread this other day I thought about what it could be and was like "I wonder if it's the worm since it does end up with geto at some point" but alas. Happy to see I was right though 😆 people saying sukuna was crazy especially because Yaga knows that's what Yuuji is deal with.
Yuuji missing sensei but also realizing sensei is in front of him 🥺 just say the important things now. You can tell Satoru everything you wanted to and more 🥹
Thank you for another banger. Can't say it enough. I truly love every chapter and reread them so much!
I felt like Yuuji deserved a chapter where everyone asked him to teach them to be awesome XD
But I honestly really like having a lot of POVs in the things I write. I find it fascinating to explore how different characters are thinking and feeling about the same event. Plus, I'm actually pretty excited that we've gotten to the part of this story where I can start working on some of the interpersonal relationships between characters a little more, and I adore Yuuji and Riko as friends. I think Riko benefits a lot from having someone like Yuuji for her, disregarding the little bit of pain his presence causes her as a reminder of what she lost.
I looked back over the comments of Chapter 9 and it turns out one person guessed Wormy lol. So that actually makes two of you that got it!
Ah, yes. Yuuji and his angst on Satoru vs. Gojo. More on that later :)
And as always!! Thanks so much for reading, and sending me the customary ask. I'm glad Chapter 10 was another hit!!!
P.S. Yuuji rolls up the sleeves everyday himself. Special people deserve special uniforms, after all.

Hey. Chapter 9. Holy fuck. Once again I'm reduced to rabid chewing. I simply Cannot. There Is So Much. Shoko realising she's fucked up so tossing Yuuji to the wolves (Satoru), because for some reason Yuuji doesn't mind. Satoru thinking that he's noticed that and he's not thinking that. He's not. Ten minutes later he's in Yuuji's dorm and on his bed and Yuuji continues not to mind. And what they discuss!! That whole conversation!! That whole scene!! Yuuji can name his scars and joke about his family tree but he can't discuss Sukuna. In third person, he calls himself a "desperate kid" who did it to save his friends. "Things went downhill from there." says the seventeen-year-old time traveller discussing the future with his dead teacher's teenage self. YUUJI PUTS HIS HEAD ON SATORU'S STOMACH. There was so much. I am losing my mind. This was beautiful. Thank You
MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES. I thought I responded to this weeks ago. As it turns out, I didn't. I am a victim of my ADHD.
But I'm so glad you loved chapter 9!! Rabid chewing!!! The thing that I love about Entombed is that as I'm writing it, I tend to just be doing all my setup dialogue and plot introductions in subtle little ways. And then when I read through the chapters, part of me is always like, "Everyone is going to think this is just filler. They're going to think it's just filler and they're going to hate it." But no one ever does! And for that I'm so grateful to all of you.
I like to think a lot about characters as they become and as they are when I work on Entombed. Shoko, for instance, always gave this impression of detachment in canon, where yes you would occasionally see her talking to Satoru or Nanami or whoever, but she wasn't involved. She wasn't on the front lines fighting alongside them. And then when you see the canon version of Gojo's past and the Hidden Inventory Arc, I can see where that originates. When Satoru and Suguru start arguing she leaves the room. When they go on missions she stays home. When they train with each other she stands off to the side and records data if they need data recorded, or participates in very small ways. Obviously, sorcerers die a lot in the world of jujutsu. I think Shoko is in a unique position where she is responsible for that. She is the only person that saves these people that throw their lives at saving others, and I think she resorted to detaching herself to make that easier when she doesn't succeed. In Entombed, I think Yuuji forces her to interact with the others a little mor than she used to before, but I don't think she knows how to do it. She's always been separate from them. So, for me, a huge part of her story is this forced reintroduction, where she finds herself, more and more often, taking the role of a friend that she used to avoid.
And Satoru and Yuuji! They derail so many of my scenes from how I planned them to go (this example included) but I love them for it. Yuuji's feelings about Satoru are so complex, due to the duality of knowing both adult Satoru, his teacher, and teenage Satoru, his friend. Yuuji is so broken, and I couldn't resist the temptation of him laying his head on the part of Satoru that used to be broken like that too.
Thank you, as always, for reading the story and sending me this ask!!

JO!!! GET OVER HERE!!!
I'm starting with addressing your authors note where you asked if we noticed where Yuuji was laying. JAIL FOR 1000 YEARS!! I had to scroll up and reread when I realized he was layiNG ON SATORU'S STOMACH 😭😭😭😭😭
*ahem* anyway! Shoko telling Satoru to go bug Yuuji because he's the only one that enjoys being annoyed by him cracked me up. She sent that man spiraling in the shower while he thought about the implications she was making. And him throughout his entire time with Yuuji being like I am not throwing myself at the only openly gay guy...👀 You're not but it's okay if you like him.
Yuuji getting Satoru something to cover his eyes 🥹 Satoru you will learn the way that is Yuuji taking care of you 🫶🏻 Yuuji finally bringing up Kenny and Sukuna. Talk about difficult conversation 😩 I don't blame him for clutching onto Satoru after that.
I also love that Satoru offered to go with Yuuji to the hospitals! Very sweet of him. I love their developing relationship.
As much as I hate Geto, I am feeling a little bad for him towards the end of this chapter. Not even getting a little break from his last mission and being thrown into the next. Brutal.
Thank you so much for the chapter as always💖💖 I thoroughly enjoyed it!!
I felt inspired by those stories where Yuuji’s love interest listens to his heartbeat after the detention center where he got his heart ripped out. It seemed like something Yuuji would also derive comfort from—actually being able to touch that which once was irrevocably broken.
Shoko really is their number one wingwoman. Not that she ever expected to be, lol. Meanwhile Satoru is trying to be in denial about it, but not even really succeeding at being in denial. And Yuuji finally talking about Sukuna and Kenjaku! I actually didn’t intend that at all when I started writing this scene but things never go as I expect when Satoru and Yuuji start talking to each other.
I feel like this is what happened to Getou in canon as well—Satoru started being sent on more missions on his own, and then Suguru was sent on more solo missions, but the difference was time it took to complete them. Eventually, Suguru got overwhelmed, which pushed his fragile mental state even harder.
And as always, thanks for reading the chapter!! I'm glad you loved it so :)

CHAPTER EIGHT. OH MY GOD. I loved too many things about it to properly list, but in no particular order: Yuuji calling Tengen a bitch. Apologising to Riko for making her feel irrelevant, then comforting her in a way that's a blend of himself and the Gojo he lost—the explanation of what a domain is and its function and weaknesses, and then ruffling her hair. The two truths and a lie game. Riko's admiration of Shoko, thinking she's pretty and so cool. The fact that you've really established a character for Riko at all. The revelation of what and who her technique cost. Yuuji emerging with one red-tinted eye, menacing to Riko in a way he wasn't to Geto. Yuuji comforting Shoko without obviously comforting her, and even lying to do it. Yuuji in a three-piece suit, and Riko being added to the list of people to think he's attractive (a fact Yuuji is completely oblivious to). Shoko and Riko giggling together about him being mysterious and having no idea. Shoko's own round of two truths and a lie, Yuuji's correct answer, Shoko's reply, Yuuji’s sad smile and "Not so much". How he calls Kenjaku 'Kenjaku' to Riko and Shoko, but doesn't describe their appearance or CT or how he knows them. How he doesn't even mention Kenjaku's name to Satoru, because the full explanation would hurt him (another reason I was incoherent with glee because of chapter 7). But this fic is so, so good, and every update is making me increasingly more insane about it
A;sldkfj you flatter me too much with your kind words. I'll perish if you keep this up.
I think a lot about how dialogue heavy this story is, because it's something that I always thought about my writing style that would bore people for sure. But I've always felt a bit like who people are comes out in how people talk and who they talk to. And it makes me very pleased to know that other people find it fascinating too!
Thanks as always for reading and leaving me this ask!

YOU WERE SO QUICK WITH AN UPDATE!! I was so surprised and so happy to see you 💖
You gave us a rare Amanai pov and I loved it. She doesn't want to be seen as a mission understandably but is also a little scared to ask Yuuji anything personal. Which I can see why from her pov but knowing how Yuuji is he would never mind as demonstrated by Shoko asking the two truths and a lie.
Which speaking of Shoko lol not her dragging Satoru and saying he'll be in love with Yuuji by December 😭😆 she's so funny.
Amanai being a little jealous of Shoko thinking that she would date Geto 💀 Amanai she would never. In fact she already knows you like him and is rooting for you 😉
Yuuji continuing to be a great person as always by not wanting to take away anyone who would be missed 🥺 Yuuji they could never make me hate you. I also thought it was cute that when talking about domains you can tell Yuuji was remembering Gojo-sensei 😭 it reminded me of Yuuji recalling his domain lesson in the manga(though I know your fic is a divergence of the manga) in my head I could see Yuuji smiling as he talked about domains because in his mind he's remembering his teacher 🥲 and Yuuji eventually you'll need to tell people what happened in your timeline 😬 Gojo-sensei wouldn't want you working alone. Tell them who Kenjaku really is and what his technique my god 😤
I am curious though why Shoko was freaking out about Satoru going alone 👀 was it because the last time he was alone he essentially died? Sweet of her to be worried about him of course, that's her friend, but she was really pushing hard for someone to go. Girlie I promise Toji isn't gonna be able to come and hurt him and no one else is that strong anyway but love the sentiment 😌
Jo, once again, thank you so much for the update 💖💖 I enjoyed it immensely. Also sorry for any grammar mistakes my phone's swipe text has it out for me I swear.
It's like I said! I have to get five chapters of this thing posted before the end of June, so I have to stay motivated to actually edit chapters and get on AO3 and finally post some stuff, lol.
Actually, Riko POVs are a somewhat common occurrence in Entombed! It might not look like it yet, but she is one of the main characters, and has a very important role to play. I've been having a lot of fun fleshing her out—her personality is so quirky, and I was always so sad that she was only in a few chapters of the manga.
Shoko is another character I've been enjoying fleshing out! I feel like her character isn't explored a lot in canon. But it's interesting to me—so much of the jujutsu world rides on her shoulders alone. I mean, during the mission Yuuji and Nanami had at Junpei's high school, Nanami says he has to make a trip back to Jujutsu High so Shoko can patch him up after his fight with Mahito, implying this is a common thing—sorcerers returning to see her in terrible states. So many people would be dead without her. What a weight to carry.
Which ties into her concern for Satoru too. For one thing, this is the first time he's being sent on a missuon genuinely alone, like she said—it’s protocol to send students on missions of high rankings without a sorcerer with them, and Satoru is being sent to fight a special grade ALONE. For the first time. Nerve-wracking.
And as always, thank you so much for reading and enjoying the update!!

And just a week later we're meeting again 🤭
Where do I even begin with this new chapter? Let's get Geto out of the way 🙄 Riko was so real for being annoyed at him. He just spouts the same party line but doesn't truly mean that and saying that to someone you saved? If I was her I'd think I was weak too.
Now onto Satoru and Yuuji 🤭 they make me laugh every time you put them together. They're so funny. Satoru asking about Yuuji's domain and Yuuji being like 🙂↕️ decline to answer. So funny. Eventually he will have to tell them who he was a vessel to 💀 so far I believe only Yaga knows the most truth including Yuuji being Sukuna's vessel specifically. Back to domains, Yuuji gushing about Satoru's to him was adorable.
Haibara showing up and Yuuji immediately realizing that this guy most likely died but can't give that away per se and Satoru also realizing and helping distract with Nanami showing up? Once again showing Yuuji how he cares in a way 🥺 Yuuji slipping up when he sees Nanami calling Satoru sensei and saying they could have been making fun of him when he kept Yuuji in his basement was hilarious. Out of context for both Haibara and Satoru making Satoru laugh at how absurd it was. Yuuji being excited to see Nanami and yelling his nickname? Which someone else pointed out in a comment and I agree with them that Satoru will eventually get jealous that Yuuji gave Nanami a nickname but he doesn't have one. Probably will flutter his eyelashes and whine to Yuuji that he needs a nickname too 😆
Let's move onto Satoru and Yuuji in Yuuji's bedroom 😉 loved everything about this. Satoru having a moment to himself wondering just what his other self did to have Yuuji let his guard down enough to take his sunglasses off and be comfortable about Satoru was nice. Yuuji avoiding the Geto talk while using Satoru's crush for him was perfect. Though I love how Satoru was like "is it different in the future when it comes to being gay" and Yuuji explaining that it's more common to hear about and see so that's why he's comfortable to talk about it. Again though Yuuji will have to talk about Kenny at some point 😬 especially if he wants to save them from him.
The whole dick conversation 💀 finally Satoru gets a reaction out of Yuuji. And Yuuji trying to distract himself by singing the pokemon song causing Satoru to jump was so funny. Shoko showing up and just 🧍🏻♀️ in the doorway like do I need to give you the talk? And Yuuji is desperate for her to leave saying they were fine? Priceless. That entire moment was priceless.
Thank you so much for the update 💖 I am in fact going to reread it again right now. I love Satoru and Yuuji's relationship development. I love how you write them. Also sorry not sorry for how long this ask is 💀 at this point I need to just dm you I fear 🤭also sorry for any spelling mistakes. I literally just woke up and saw you updated and immediately read the chapter lol
There you are! My life would be incomplete without your asks for every chapter!
I think this is another chapter that I kind of think of as filler, but it's also setup for a lot of important things. One of those things is Getou's character development. His arc is a really interesting one to me because of how particular the timing with it is. Satoru clearly objects to the way Suguru thinks about the purpose of the jujutsu sorcerer, but objections from someone equally morally bankrupt about your moral bankruptcy. And Shoko is too removed to try to get into it with him. In canon he was eventually forced to grapple with his thought process, but the trauma of losing someone he was trying to save and also losing to someone he had deemed "lesser" pushed him towards the wrong answer, where the best solution was just to eradicate the people that hurt him. I gave myself a unique opportunity in this au by giving Riko the chance to confront him too.
And Yuuji and Satoru!! These two are fun to write. Though I meant what I said when I said having plot relevant dialogue with them is challenging lol. But there setup was really fun here, especially compared to what Yuuji actually says and what Satoru takes it as. Yuuji confesses that he gets Suguru’s face mixed up with his mother’s, Satoru gets too distracted by this to ask for clarification for why that happens in the first place, and in turn, Satoru just assumes that both Suguru and Yuuji’s mother held different but equally villainous presences in Yuuji’s life. Interesting, interesting. And that doesn’t really get into why Yuuji is trying to draw Kaori's face in the first place, does it?
As always, thanks so much for reading and sending me your ask!! I'm glad you loved the chapter. More to come :)

Hi, I'm too incoherent with glee to properly praise it, but know that I've been going insane about chapter 7 since I read it 13 whole hours ago. Cannot stop praising it rabidly in the dms
Haha I'm glad! And I guess this a good time to go ahead and make a little pseudo announcement. I joined an event in a server for "spring cleaning" where everyone has a bingo board they try to fill with goals and one of squares was posting fibe chapters of this fic. So you guys have a lot of good stuff coming soon ;)

real tears in my eyes i just finished reading we are here. expect art.
I would be genuinely so honored to get art!!!
We are here is actually the first fanfiction I ever posted. It holds such a special place in my heart, little cry fest that it is. Where it's older, though, I don’t hear as much about it as I used to, so this ask was a pleasant little surprise!!
Thanks so much for reading! You better tag me when that art exists 👀

You know what time it is Jo! Time for my monthly reread of Entombed 🎉
It brings me joy every time I read it. Can't say it enough.
Satoru folded the last bit up just over Yuuji’s elbow, showing off the full length of his scarred forearm. Yeah. That was better.
Satoru I think you did this mainly so you could look at Yuuji's forearms all the time 👀
And by training, Suguru really just meant he threw Satoru and Yuuji at each other to see what happened.
This is so funny to think about. Yaga throwing them at each other perhaps to see if the universe implodes 💀 Satoru and Yuuji could probably fight for hours and it'll always be a fun time 😆 god I can't wait for them to see Yuuji scale a building or throw a car like he did in season 2 😂 I think they'd lose it lmfao.
Anyway see you again either then you update or for my monthly reread in April 😆💖💖
Much love and I hope you're well! ✨
Reread time! Reread time! Reread time!
It brings ME joy to know that you love this story enough to keep coming back to it all the time.
I think Satoru was definitely keen about seeing Yuuji’s forearms all the time 😂
I actually have plans for this! At some point or another I want to send Yuuji and Suguru out on a mission together so that Suguru can see some of this insanity first hand. Satoru probably wouldn't be phased by it too much though lol.
Thank you for rereading!!! I'm so grateful for all these asks you send me. They really remind me that I need to get back on working on this more often!
See you next time!

I'm been annoying you in you inbox! I thought about not sending one since I do comment on you fic but this is a lil tradition now sooo here I am😆
First off, thank you so much for the update. It was amazing.
Secondly, you already know I've reread it multiple times since it dropped 😆 newest chapter was so good.
Yuuji and Gojo going all out against each other was fun to read about. Yuuji damn near killing Geto immediately 💀💀💀 so funny to me.
Gojo being a bit(to me) sad that he realized his best friend(crush) didn't stick around like he normally would because he's off with a girl 😬 but!! It's just because now you have Yuuji 😌 also I thought it was cute that Gojo was like "you've seen my domain right? 👀" And Yuuji's just like "🧍🏻♂️ yeah" causing Gojo to be like great can't wait to hear all about it during lunch 😌
They're silly your honor!! 🙋🏻♀️
Anyway as always thanks again 😌💖 I'm still riding the high of seeing Untombed update, I'm so serious lol
I was about to say, you aren’t allowed to not send me an ask on tumblr for every chapter lol. It's a tradition now and it can't be skipped.
I am very sorry it took me so long to get to it though! I've been busy with real life. Hopefully you can forgive me 🙏
I'm glad you loved the chapter!! I wanted to emphasize that Yuuji and Gojo have this insane, immediate connection with each other, but that doesn’t mean everything changes immediately, so Gojo and Getou still have their best friendship (though know it’s sitting in an awkward and uncomfortable place).
Thanks as always for reading!! I am so, so glad you enjoyed the update.

I return just to say that: Hey. Hey, chapter 6? That was incredible. Everything about it. I think I saved 90% of it to my notes just to reread whenever, from Satoru arriving early and implicitly to see Yuuji to altering Yuuji’s uniform to saying he'd give it a hood and Yuuji’s smile throughout. The fact that he apologises for bringing up the fact that, y'know, everyone in the room but Shoko is dead in twelve years. Satoru’s surprised confusion when he hears Yuuji only knew them for six months two years ago. How Yuuji adjusts his glasses and Satoru remembers the comment Yuuji made about his eyes and how much they show. How Yuuji says maybe some distance is good, and then says Megumi's name. He wonders, two years later, how Gojo could take suxh pains treat him as a teenager and not a monster. And the Spar. The spar. Satoru laughing and calling Yuuji insane, Yuuji agreeing, how Geto and Shoko both realise as they watch that Yuuji looks at Satoru fondly where everyone else looks annoyed. They've Known Each Other Three Days. Your fic is fantastic at the strongest points (imo) of time travel—the fact that Yuuji’s past is their future (if it doesn't change), and the fact that Yuuji Knows (most of) them, and knows what it is to lose them. He knew Gojo for six months two years ago and he looks at Satoru with blatant fondness for it. He lets Satoru get close enough to roll up his sleeves and show the scars there. In short, I adored chapter 6, and since there's no post of it on your blog to reblog and yell praise in the tags of, I'm yelling here
Thank you!!!!
This is all so sweet. I'm especially surprised, because, in my mind, chapter 6 was something of a filler chapter. But clearly some parts of it still stand out so well in everyone’s mind too as they read.
I love that you’ve noticed how intricate Yuuji is. I feel like it's been difficult for me to write trauma a few years after. The wounds aren’t fresh but the scars are present, and Yuuji swings between easy going and intense so easily naturally. It doesn’t tend to feel like any time has passed at all, based on how he develops relationships in canon, and I wanted to bring that here too. It always means so much when people notice the small details!!!
Thank you so much for reading, and I'm glad you enjoyed it!!
(And you’re right...I probably should make a post for Entombed itself lol)

Hello hello! Happy New Year (◠‿・)—☆
I hope you're doing okay! Just popping on to say that I was rereading Entombed (again🤪) and it's still just as wonderfully hilarious as it was the first time. Satoru is such a fucking disaster and I love it.
Again, hope you're doing well 💖💖
Happy New Year to you too (belatedly)! Thanks for checking in! I hope you're doing well too.
And Satoru isn't Satoru it he isn’t a train wreck~

I need you to know that every time I reread your story and get to the part where Satoru is still whining about performance issues, I giggle at Haibara quietly going 'what?' every time Gojo says something 😆 and then Haibara coming out and asking about said performance issues in front of Yaga...I can't 😆 too good.
That scene really was peak comedy writing XD
I was cackling like a mad scientist as I wrote it so I'm thrilled it sticks in your mind so intrusively as well.

First off, sorry you don't feel well 😩 I hope you get better soon! 💖
Secondly, you've done it again. Another banger chapter. Poor Yuuji having to deal with Mei again 🥲 also Riko immediately apologizing to Yuuji and freaking out like maybe he'll be mad at her 😭 she's precious. I really want her and Yuuji to become friends.
Gojo still being annoyed by Yuuji breaking though infinity 💀 truly I hope it becomes a running joke. Like Gojo just is never able to keep him out would be hilarious.
Anyway, thank you for another fantastic update! I'm always thinking about your fic lol at least once a day so it was very exciting seeing the update in my inbox! 💖💖
Thank you! You're very sweet ❤️ Sickness is still persisting but I'm hoping I'll be at the end of it soon.
You know, Yuuji never seemed to dislike Mei in canon—but also he's Yuuji. It's kind of a miracle he disliked (? A little up for debate) Sukuna. But at the same time, I felt like Entombed Yuuji would probably be a little taken aback by her lack of personal space and her lack of boundaries, so I'm glad the scene worked out. Riko really is precious though! She and Yuuji have a bit of an awkward starting place, so their friendship won't necessarily be fast, but it'll be deep.
(If you're interested in trade secrets, here's a little spoiler—her technique trades one life for another, but the person pulled through dimensions is someone that has the potential to fulfill the same kind of role in her life as the person that had to die to bring them along.)
And yes, of course. Viva la performance issues 😂 May that joke never die.
And thank you so much for reading!! You have no idea how much it means to me to hear my fics stick around in someone’s memories. That alone should be able to cure me of this cold, I'm sure of it.
