The finale of The 100 and the last season fucked a lot of things up, but the one thing they did right by was Murphy, as well as his relationship with Emori.

Murphy had the most complete full circle arc, going from a man willing to do absolutely anything to survive to a man with immortality in his hands, willing to give it up to spend a few more hours with the love of his life.

“Without you I’d just be surviving, Emori I wouldn’t be living. I would take a few more hours with you over forever without.”

“This is okay with me. It’s okay, it’s okay.”

Murphy finding his will to live beyond just surviving, the beautiful moment between these soulmates in the mind space, with Jackson and Miller playing music for them and dancing while embracing, understanding their luck with being in love and still being alive.

Murphy’s arc always makes me so emotional.
