ok i may be disappointed over some things but for the time being i will take a moment to feel rather happy about these two things. i may not think too much about proust these days but the living in petersburg part would have my younger self ecstatic. and my present self appreciates it well enough too

on the one hand my past self would be in awe of the present me because she loved Sad Losers. on the other hand i haven't managed to fulfill a single dream she had, beyond reading through the whole of a la recherche du temps perdu maybe. and living in st petersburg. so i did fulfil two (2) of the dreams the young me had. but god i am disappointed in myself
