Aegon II x OC

I love the colors in this so much. This is based on a head canon a friend and I came up with, a concept for a story about a young man who started out as a squire and fell for Aegon, and eventually has to make a hard decision as the war breaks out because his family supports Rhaenyra.

He vows to remain loyal to his king and becomes part of the small circle who smuggles Aegon out of kingslanding.

On the journey to safety they get to know each other more and more and he tries to fix what Aemond broke with his betrayal.

My favorite detail in this picture is Aegon basically being a second sun.

I started drawing this literally one day after finishing the funny comic about Jaehaerys learning the C word. What an artistic mood swing.

I've been rewatching some of the HOTD episodes again and one thing that gets me every time is Criston Coles reaction when he finds his king aka. son burned and broken in the forest. The one redeeming quality of this man is his devotion for the Targtower boys.

i was wondering, do you stick to any team? or do you stay neutral?

My favorite characters are (obviously) Aegon and Aemond, but generally I'd say I'm team young generation because both Rhaenyra's and Alicent's children shouldn't have had to suffer for what their parents and other family members like Otto started.

You know the drill by now. Me sees picture on Pinterest, brain does brain things, me draws. The original drawing shows a bit more of Aemonds...uh...reaction but for Tumblr I went with the safe option of censorship. I'm still on a mission to find the most ridiculous ways to censor saucy art.

This is my final drawing of 2024 and I'm looking forward to see what the next year will bring in terms of inspiration. Hope y'all have a great New years eve. :)

I've been a HOTD fan since the show came out in 2022, but I only started drawing fan art for this fandom this year after getting wayyy too emotional about the Rooks Rest episode. But people have been really sweet and appreciative of my art and I'm honestly grateful for it.

There was a sudden shift and the vision changed. The young prince with the boyish features and the mischievous smile was gone and in his place stood a grotesque version of the broken king Aemond had left in kingslanding. Gaunt and burnt, robes dirty with dried up blood.

"Do you have the slightest idea how it feels when your body is aflame, when the skin burns off your face?", he rasped, taking a step towards Aemond, " The pain never stopped. I wish you would have killed me properly. I don't recognize myself anymore. I am no longer who I was. But I still remember him. And I burn. All the time. You should have killed me. Do you hate me so much that you couldn't even spare me from this pain?"

A bit of a darker take on the trope of Aemond having visions of Aegon at Harrenhal because I was in the mood for it.

God, Aegon looks so pretty.

Fun fact: I sent the pics to a friend who immediately replied to the Aemond drawing with "he's got a hard on". Not exactly where I was going with the story but my brain immediately thought up a concept for a smut version of it. Why am I like this.

Christmas is coming, so here I'm sharing the two drawings I made for Clinton Liberty as a thank you/Christmas gift after he's been such a kind and supportive person this year.

He was so appreciative of every single drawing I made for him, and generally someone who brings wholesomeness to the fandom.

The second drawing was kind of a joint gift for him, Tom and Ewan. I only told him it was based on a bts picture of him and the boys, but he knew exactly which one I meant and put it into the post when he shared the drawing on his instagram account.😭

Hope everyone is going to have a great but at least a peaceful Christmas, and everyone who doesn't celebrate a peaceful time nonetheless. 💚
