The thing to understand about hairless cats is that they just look like cats. Even very short-furred cats are literally 50% fuzz by volume – they’re all gangly little goblin-creatures masquerading as regular animals by virtue of being so very, very fluffy. That’s why they can seem to ooze through the crack under a door like some sort of liquid: there’s simply less cat than you think there is.
