Ritsurin Garden.
I've visited Ritsurin Garden in a morning during my business trip. It was amazing garden than I expected. There are several areas and each has different meaning and I regret that if I did pre-study about the garden, so I could enjoy more.

Nakagawa River with the billboard lighting from Haruyoshi Bridge.
Haruyoshi Bridge connects Tenjin area and Nakasu area, and there are two bridges one for pedestrian which was old Haruyoshi Bridge and now called NakasuKakehashi. You can see river reflecting a lot of billboard lighting on the Haruyoshi side, which is, personally, one of the symbolic scenary in Fukuoka.

Night View from JR Tower Observation Deck T38.
The JR Tower Observation Deck T38 is located 38th floor of JR Tower and easy to access from Sapporo Station. The observation deck offers 360-degree view of Sapporo. The best time to visit there is as always before to after sunset, "magic hour".

Night skyline of Sendai from The Westin Sendai.
Hotel location is a bit remote from sendai station and center of the city, but it's worth to stay the hotel for the most gorgeous view and sophisticated services. You may request city view room for the gorgeous night view.

Scenic lights of Odiaba from Telecom Center Observatory.
Observatory deck is located on the 21st floor and one of the best places to view the scenic lights of Odiaba . A little tripod set to window sill can help you to take photos for longer exposure.
