I thank God for the year that was and look forward for another 365 days of who knows what. There is a reason why we have left 2015 behind and we need not miss what He has for us by thinking that we had it better then and get caught up in wishing we could go back there. Learn from it, let it be, create new memories. Allow yourself to heal and be restored and to be chiseled once more for a better version of you. It's 2016. Time to look forward, eyes straight ahead, tangled in the wonderful love of a Savior who wants nothing less for you than the summit. Happy new year! I hope you are loved for the rest of your life. ♥

My niece is growing up so quickly. She just turned one a few months back and it's such a joy to have her around. She's now starting to get curious about almost everything that moves. One time we saw her poking a millipede with her bare fingers without an inch of fear. Fortunately, it wasn't a centipede. She loves to run about and can already climb stairs without assistance and no hesitance. If I had known, at 15 months, I would've given her a helmet. Merry Christmas, my love! #mychinita

I found that the name Emmaus means "warm springs" and that these springs were frequently used for healing purposes. Where are you on the road to Emmaus?
