Hi, my name is Dawn from Boston. I hope you do not mind I reblogged your copyright infringement. It was under stolen photos. I am a big fan of the fiction on here. Also, sometime I scroll thru some pics to see what is going on. I have seen a 1/2 dozen times a person stealing other's photos. I loved your wording, it was perfect. Again, I hope you do not mind, I can take it down if you would like.

I don't mind at all, Dawn.. I'm not on here much.. or at all, actually.. Don't really get tumblr..lol. Anyhow, thank you and yes, by all means, use it! spread the word :)

stealing photos - copyright infringement..

Yeah, you don't want to hear it.. yeah, it's the INTERNET so get over it, right? Well, it's also my livelihood, too. It's what I do.. it's how I live, it's how I pay my bills, and lastly it's my photograph, not yours.

Now I'm sure plenty of people are just reblogging and not trying to claim the photograph as their own, but some are. Regardless, it's common decency to put a credit to a photograph or a link to it.

I see hundreds of people liking and re-blogging a photograph of mine and in the depths of me I'm so happy that it's appreciated - believe me. But I also want them to know who's it is.. who saw this vision and has the eye. Who's soul is attached and ingrained in that image.

I work hard to do what I do. I don't want to mar my photographs with a watermark since most people find them on the site I sell on. But I think I might have to do it.

It's not just an "oh it's the internet" moment. It's a "you're stealing and it's against copyright laws" moment, too. Yeah, how would I ever chase down everyone who breaks that? no way.. It's also a matter of kindness. Posting my photographs with a link or credit to my name could send people my way .. I could make sales, etc. Sounds money grabbing to you? Well, it's not. It's my business.

If you like my photographs that much - so much that you blog and re-blog, you should like the person behind it for seeing that vision.. you should be kind and thoughtful. I don't think that's a lot to ask for in this world..
