Hey Hi All!
Its been a HOT second since I go on here! I hope everyone is doing well this new year!
Just an update for you:
I ordered a new Wacom One screen tablet that should come in the mail early next week (YAY!!!). I think it will really up my game to use a screen tablet again. I'm stoked! Once it comes in I'm going to start working on Shinx Mask again asap. So it's looking like new pages posted at the end of January or early February.
I just got back from my trip to see my bestie, so all the "holiday" activities and travel are officially over. I'm both sad and relieved to be done with all the happenings. It'd been nice to be back in my own bed the last few days though (and not stressing about cancelled flights omg).
I'm hoping to wrap up Shinx Mask before my day job picks up. Spring comes early where I'm from and that's the beginning of the busy season. When I get closer to the end, I'll talk more about upcoming projects. Tentatively, my next project will be Adrien, Oliver, Lina, and LeVar's original story (name pending), I have to finish the text draft so I can start thumbnailing and finalizing designs and all that jazz. I'll bring y'all along for the ride of course! with lots of sneak peeks and behind the scenes sketches and inner workings.

Introducing Adrien and Oliver! You heard me!
I grifted my own characters for Shinx Mask! They're from a totally different, older, much longer, story I'm working on. Lina and LeVar too! When I started Shinx Mask I knew the storyline but I didn't know who the characters would be soooo I just yoink and twisted them lol! Shinx Mask is kind of their Pokemon AU O.O

Taking a break
I wanted to officially say that I'm taking a break from Shinx Mask. I should have anticipated this with the holidays and winter shenanigans plus my feeling burnt out and uninspired I've been focused on other things and also trying to relax when I can. I can't say exactly when I'll get back to posting, I'm aiming for mid January but I don't want to make promises. I said waay back in the beginning that I'm not on a schedule, but I wanted to let y'all know that I'm A. not dead B. not quitting Shinx Mask and C. since this is ultimately a passion project of mine, I really want to enjoy working on it and not feel like I'm pushing myself to work when I'm busy with other things or feeling uninspired.
Thanks for reading the story so far! And I hope your holiday season is joyous, and you and your friends and family have your health! I can't say for certain that will or won't post before the new year, so, see y'all on the flip side (♫and a happy new year♫)!
