storyline:

Nightwing, fresh out the gate hated this, yanked out of his own world by a judging and nosey god of Pokemon he had no choice but to catch all Pokemon. Adopted by the professor that definitely gave him a complex ("why does everyone keep adopting me") and in a village with once again the most judgemental people he ever did see our hero is on a mission to get back home but to go that he has to fight for his life and complete a Pokedex with his starter, Garth of unova's seas! Who if dies I will cry!!

Also this gem I didn't draw, she's a loving mother.

So now we're ready for the main course next Pokemon to catch!

Any name suggestions are welcome but have to be DC comic themed and stuff

Harmonia Warm Welcome

The three young prodigies met their professors with the burlap Baneumbreon, making double sure that the children were safe in the university, and he was reassured, multiple times.

After a teary goodbye, from Mouse and Stitches, Marcin lead the trio to their dorm.

"And here we are. Home, sweet dorm." The shiny Lopunny smiled. "The previous students that lived here had a bunk bed in one room. Since that Stitches guy said that Mouse can't sleep by themself, you three will need to discuss the sleeping arrangements."

The trio listened while getting accustomed to their new surroundings.

"If you need anything, don't hesitate to call any of your councilors or professors at the front desk." The Lopunny assured. "Now, if you three got everything under control, I'll be out of your way. I've got a mountain of paperwork to file..." Marcin mumbled at the end.

"Thank you for having us here." Grey bowed politely.

"You're quite welcome, young mix." The shiny Lopunny returned the bow. "Welcome to Harmonia University." Was the last thing he said before closing the door. He sighed, and hopped his way to the staff room.

Unbeknownst to him, three students were walking down that same hallway.

"Remember you two, we need to make a good impression on these kids, that means no Mankey business." The Sneasler said.

"I'll refrain from the fangirling, Fiona. What I'm more curious about is the rumors around them." The shinx said.

"Violeta, these kids haven't been here for a day, and they've already got rumors about them?" Fiona asked.

"Yeah, I heard whispers that the little masked Eevee's dad is actually a demon. And the kid wears that mask to hide their demon face." The Lycanroc exclaimed.

"What about that rumor about the Rockruff, I heard he was killed and revived with amnesia." Violeta said.

"Or that Zorua being a princess from another dimension."

"Medley, Violeta, while those rumors are plausible, I think It'd be best not to bring those rumors up around them." Fiona said. The trio quieted down when they heard voices on the other side of the door.

They all put their ears to the door...

"...All I I'm saying is that we're going to need a code word when things get overwhelming for Mouse." Grey said.

"Of course, But what would be a good word...?" A more mature female voice said.

"Maybe fluff?" Oaken suggested. "That would be my word, but since it's Mouse's word, we should let them come up with it."

"I like fluff." Mouse signed.

"Looks like fluff is staying." The woman's voice said.

"Did one of them bring there mom here?" Violeta asked.

"They couldn't have, only their dad dropped them and their friends off." Medley replied.

"Hold on... I think I heard something." Grey said as footsteps approached the door.

Thinking fast, Fiona knocked on the door. There was a moment of silence, until the door opened slightly, and the Zorua peered out. "Are you one of the new prodigy students?" The Sneasler asked.

"Yes... Who are you?" Grey asked in a suspicious tone.

"Fiona, and these are my friends, Violeta and Medley." Fiona answered. "May we come in and introduce ourselves."

Quietly, Grey opens the door, allowing the the trio entry. Oaken was sitting at their desk writing things down, and Mouse backed themself into a corner, wrapping their arms around their knees and tail wrapped around their feet.

Slowly, Medley sat down next to Mouse, carefully as to not make the nervous Eevee feel cornered. "I'm Medley. What's your name?" The Lycanroc said.

"I'm Mouse." Mouse signed, still nervous.

Medley smiled a little, not really sure how to react. "I... I don't know what that means."

"I do, they said their name is Mouse." Grey said. "They're too shy to speak, so they use sign language to communicate."

"By the way, do you have someone else here with you?" Violeta asked.

"What do you mean?" Oaken tilted his head. "It's just me, Mouse, and Grey."

"We thought we heard another voice." The shinx explained.

"I think you mean me." Mouse pulled a green hilt out of their pocket. "My name is Elizabeth. And I'm this kid's guardian and protector." Everyone looked at Mouse and Elizabeth in amazement. "This child may be small, but they're stronger than they look."

"Mouse and I were enrolled due to our better than average stats for your typical Eevee and Zorua." Grey explained.

"And Oaken?" Fiona pointed to the Rockruff.

"I'm just really good at math." Oaken smiled with a giggle, causing everyone laugh with him.

"Anyway..." Fiona cleared her throat. "Anyway, we just wanted to stop by and give you three a warm welcome."

"And what better way than inviting you to a little friendly game night." Medley smiled, wagging their tail.

"And don't worry, we'll make sure our friends aren't too immature." Fiona assured.

"We're gonna be playing Jackbox!" Violeta grinned.

"You just need a phone, a tablet, or a laptop, and the game host takes care of the rest." Medley explained.

"Only if you guys want to." Fiona said.

Grey thought for a moment, then looked at her friends, as if they shared the same thought. "Okay, We'll join you." Grey smiled. "It sounds fun."

"Great!" Medley jumped up. "We set up in one of the library's study room tonight at 6:00."

"Alright, you two, let's leave so the kids can finish unpacking." Fiona said as she ushered her friends out. "We hope to see you soon."

When they left, Mouse stood up very excited. They looked over to see Grey's with a conflicted look on her face. They put a paw on her shoulder, making her look at the tiny Eevee. Reassuringly, The Zorua held their paw. "It's okay, Mouse. Letting my guard down is hard after what happened. Hopefully during the game tonight, I can actually relax."

Later that night, the Jackbox session went off without a hitch! There were laughs, jovial names thrown, snacks shared, a good time was had by all.

Maybe this would be a safe place after all.

i got bored and decided to make pokemon teams for them, i'll explain my reasoning under the cut since it's gonna get lengthy lmao

i did this either off of vibes, motifs, story arcs or whatever i thought would suit them well if anyone has any other ideas about them i'd love to read them in the replies or tags!

RYUNOSUKE NARUHODO

Galarian Darumaka - His daruma is one of the few possessions of his that isn't inherited from Kazuma, and I like the Galarian form symbolising his entry to the UK

Shinx - The most Chuunosuke Pokemon ever, it's literally blue and has the flower pattern on its ears

Kingdra - A dragon like in his name, I also liked the idea of 221B family each having a Pokemon that represented an animal in the UK coat of arms, the counterpart to this would be the Welsh dragon, it's also blue which is his colour and matches his aquarium hobby

Clawitzer - His shrimp-keeping hobby is an endearing detail about him so I think he would get a Clauncher and just take care of it really well

Hisuian Decidueye - I liked the Japanese characters having distinctly Hisuian Pokemon, and his archery hobby suits Decidueye

Donphan - This is one of the few I kind of picked based on typing, I liked the idea of him having a Phanpy and it evolving when he steels his resolve, gaining armour when it becomes a Donphan, it's also Ground-type which is strong against Sneasler which I consider Kazuma's signature Pokemon

SUSATO MIKOTOBA

Cherrim - Matches the Mikotoba family crest, I like to think this was Yujin's Cherrim and he gave it to her upon his return from Britain

Lopunny - Matches Usato, this would initially be a Buneary and evolve when she returns to the UK to show her growth after having gone through a trial as a lawyer herself, it's also got fighting spirit like her

Gardevoir - A graceful Pokemon, I thought it suited the yamato nadeshiko archetype her character is based off, parallels Kazuma's Gallade showing their familial connection

Sinistcha - I like the idea of regional variants allowing her and Iris to bond quickly, she also mentions preparing Japanese tea when her and Ryunosuke start feeling a bit homesick if I remember correctly

Sawsbuck - It's spring and summer forms suit her well (cherry blossoms and tea leaves), it's counterpart in the coat of arms would be the Irish elk

Throh - Shows her prowess for Judo

Honorable mention: Froslass (same reason as Gardevoir)

KAZUMA ASOGI

Galarian Yamask - Represents his vengeful spirit, the face it carries thought to be it's previous life kind of suits Kazuma's story of resurrection and matches his time as the masked disciple quite well

Aegislash - Sword

Talonflame - Fiery passion, suits his colour scheme and kind of embodies his hachimaki flying behind him lmao

Gallade - Parallels Susato's Gardevoir, showing their familial bond, a warrior Pokemon

Sneasler - Type weakness to Ryunosuke's Donphan which embodies his resolve triumphing over Kazuma's need for vengeance/justice, a Hisuian Pokemon showing his roots (reflected in his leitmotif) and it's a cat like Nyasogi

Serperior - The Asogi crest and it's more Asian design compared to other snake Pokemon suits him well I think

Honorable mention: Seviper (matches his colour scheme, snake motif), Shedinja (resurrection)

HERLOCK SHOLMES

Klinklang - Represents his cog imagery, shows his passion for invention and machinery

Lucario - Boxing background, it's ability to sense auras make it quite the handy partner when conducting investigations

Rotom - Represents his modernity, it's also cheeky and mischievous which suits him

Litleo - Counterpart to the English lion in the coat of arms, it's not Pyroar because I think Pyroar is kinda ugly, but also a baby Pokemon makes him appear more father-like, it's also emblematic of his allegiance to the Queen

Sudowoodo - Bonsly received as a trade with Yujin, symbolises their cultural exchange and his penchant for disguises

Azumarill - Deceptively silly, kind of OP, representative of Hareley (a blue bunny hehe)

IRIS WILSON

Galarian Rapidash - Counterpart to the Scottish Unicorn, it also suits her colours

Polteageist - Showcases her love of tea and a regional variant that allows her to bond with Susato quickly

Sylveon - I wanted a Wagahai proxy but none of the cat Pokemon really suited her so I thought an Eevee that evolved to Sylveon would be the next best thing, it also suits her colour scheme

Stufful - Bearis representation, a Bewear would suit her older self quite well I think, it's cute but deadly like her inventions

Roselia - Her love for gardening, it's not Roserade because she's still young, also represents her flower motif courtesy of her name

Chansey - A healer Pokemon, represents her medical background due to idolising her "father"

BAROK VAN ZIEKS

Dusknoir - Said to guide spirits, matches the moniker of the Reaper, it also just suits his scary image

Noivern - Shows his love for bats and the vampire motifs incorporated into his design, I thought this suited him best because it's the most imposing of all the bat Pokemon imo

Escavalier - I like to think him and Klint traded Karrablast and Shelmet, the resulting Escavalier kind of symbolises the legacy he inherits after Klint's passing, a reminder of his duty from his brother and shows his allegiance to the Queen with the knight elements

Chandelure - Gothic, and suits his aristocratic background

Sirfetch'd - A swordsman/knight figure, shows his loyalty to his country

Umbreon - Hints at his familial connection to Iris, matches her Sylveon, Nyanzieks representative since none of the cat Pokemon seemed to suit him either to me

Honorable mentions: Gliscor and Crobat

YUJIN MIKOTOBA

Mr. Rime - A tap-dancing Pokemon, it also looks like him, matches his colour scheme and represents his journey to Britain, it's quite perfect for him lmao

Eldegoss - A flower Pokemon to mirror Susato/their family crest, it has healing properties which match his medical background

Stoutland - Received as a Lillipup from a trade with Sholmes, it has elements of a Yorkshire and Scottish Terrier which kind of represents the cultural exchange, it's also said to be a trustworthy partner and a rescuing Pokemon which suits him well, "My good man, you resemble each other so closely now! HA HA HA!"

Audino - A healer Pokemon, it has good hearing which is extra useful whether in his investigative work or as a doctor

Hisuian Samurott - suits his colour scheme, showcases his Japanese roots, moustache

Chimecho - A musical Pokemon, distinctly Japanese in origin, resembles a "miko" (shrine maiden) which is phonetically similar to his last name haha

I know this looks like I just gave him every Pokemon with a moustache but aside from Stoutland this was not intentional lmao, it just happened

GINA LESTRADE

Whimsicott - A prankster Pokemon that likes mischief, it suits her colour scheme really well lmao

Thievul - Quite obvious, matches her penchant for pickpocketing

Pancham - A scrappy Pokemon, I think her and the Pancham would do the same haughty pose and it also represents her rough upbringing

Obstagoon - Another scrappy Pokemon, I like to think she sends it out to stall when she's getting chased for pickpocketing, and later when she joins Scotland Yard she uses it for stopping criminals

Togedemaru - Representative of Hedgina, it's quite cute and kind of shows her innocence despite her prickly first impression

Maschiff - A stand-in for Toby, I can see it jumping Ryunosuke and scaring him like in the story, and I like to think Gregson is fond of it in the same way a dad who was against a pet starts being endeared towards it lmao

The Star Tavern is a Discord Server dedicated to the Shinx Line, more particularly the middle stage, number 0404, the Spark Pokemon, Luxio.

Except there aren't many members of the server whose sonas are based on Luxio, so, I turned everyone into a Luxio!

Fun fact: this was drawn in Krita amidst my practice period, and with me knowing how to do clipping mask and stuff, I can say that I'm halfway the transition! -drifloon and drifblim i CAN find easily. I just need to wait in the fieldlands until dark. Sky has a type advantage over them as flying types so if they attack me she can zap the fuck out of them

-drifblim does everything in its power to draw the brunt of kleavors fire. It’ll fire off gusts to whip up dirt and do its weird teleportation bullshit so that kleavor cant hit it but will be frustrated enough to keep pursuing

-skylark, shellos and iridas glaceon will lay down support fire for drifblim in case kleavor loses interest or if kleavor knocks it out. If it stays irritated its less likely to notice me and irida

-irida and i will throw balms while the pokemon fight

-shellos says shes not sure she’ll be able to keep up with the fight since she moves so slowly. This is a good point

-she cant sit on skylarks back because shes not a ground type so her firing off electricity will hit shellos.

-drifblim cant take non-ghosts with him when he phases

-glaceon agrees to carry shellos. I am flooded with relief at the fact that i dont have to carry a slug on my head while doing all this shit

-i remember that irida might not know that i can understand pokemon . dont worry about it irida we can talk later

-i also remember the kleavor cheese strat and bring up the idea of ducking behind the tree if kleavor tries to go for us

-irida is unsure if kleavor will remember the importance of the giant tree in his rage, but he hasnt cut it down yet, so its possible he will avoid slicing straight through it to get to us and instead go around

Gen IV, Complete!

Yes, it's true! We've trekked our way through snowy Sinnoh's glorious mountains and come out with a consensus on the most smashable of Gen IV's Pokemon!

As such, it is time to look at this generations...

Sultans of Smash!

(Which is just a fancy way of saying they got more “Smash” than “Pass” votes)

So lets get right to it and have ourselves a look at this Gen's selections! Our Smashables are (under the Read More because oh man this gonna take a while, though admittedly Gen IV has slimmer pickings than some other generations...):

1. Staring us off is... a water starter? Yes, it seems we've finally only got one starter who could make it to a majority Smash in the form of Empoleon! But at 62.5% Smashable, they've certainly made it by a fair margin. Guess this penguin made like their namesake and conquered! (In this case, conquered the polls) Also, fun fact, 5ft7 was pretty close to the historical Napoleon's height! And no, that wasn't short for the time. If you're wondering where the stereotype of him being short comes from, the answer is British Political Cartoons.

2. This next entry is a familiar sight to many, I'm sure. After all, who didn't see Shinx and think "Oh sweet, Electric Type cat!" and evolve it into one of the world's most kickass lions? Not many of y'all I suspect, because Luxray, said kickass lion, has graced this list with a fine 66.7% Smash rating! They say a Luxray's eyes can see through anything, and apparently that includes seeing through the complexities of people so they can charm their way into the hearts of many.

3. You may remember a certain rose themed Pokemon making their way onto the list back in Gen III, so I'm sure many of you will be pleased to hear that their evolution, Roserade, has made it in! At a 69.1% Smash rating, it seems there's no masking the love many feel for this rose.

4. Many of us here on the tumblr claim to be Anti-Monarchist, but it seems there's one queen many have made an exception for. That's right, that most royal of queen bees, Vespiquen! Winning a solid 57.5% Smash rating, seems this queen rules more than just her beehive.

5. I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised by this next one. Floatzel, everyone's favorite water weasel/otter hybrid, has made like an Aqua Jet and quickly propelled themself to a 59.2% smash rating!

6. There's no two ways about it, I think we all saw this one coming as much as we did Gardevoir's. They've been an internet favorite since Diamond and Pearl were first released, so it's only natural Lopunny would make the Sultans of Smash! Her Standard Form, at an impressive 77.5% Smash rating, is a classic in the world of Pokemon Smashing. But special mention has to go to her Mega Evolution! While yes, Mega Lopunny technically got a smaller rating than Standard (61.8%), it must be said that this is 61.8% of more than 3,000 votes (3,366 to be precise)! Thanks to the reblog of tumblr user tamamita (who I don't @ because I'm not sure he wants to be bothered), we have so much data on the smashability of Mega Lopunny! But most importantly, we have confirmed that many who see this lapine angel agree that it is time to le.

7. How do you feel about... magic? I must assume many of y'all like it, since next on the list is Mismagius, at a 70.6% Smash rating! Seems this mage makes more than one kind of magic.

8. This next one has made quite the impression! Maybe it's the fact that they're one of the few pseudo-legendaries in the series to be catchable at a reasonable point in their game if you know where to look. Maybe it's the fact that beloved Sinnoh champion Cynthia kicked so many of y'alls asses with them. Or maybe it's just because you have eyes and good taste. Whatever the reason, Garchomp has made their way into the Sultans of Smash, smooth as (memes about) sharks skin with a 69.7% Smash rating in standard form and a 54.5% rating as Mega Garchomp! Yes, smooth as sharks skin. Everyone knows sharks are smooth! :)

9. Ok, smoothsharking aside, this next one was also someone we, shall we say, had reserved parking for. Everyone's favorite Jackal Fighter Pokemon, Lucario! With an excellent 77.6% rating in Standard Form and a 75.6% rating as Mega Lucario, there's little for me to add about this legend of Pokemon Smashing. All I'll say is welcome to the club, brother!

10. I know a secret: many of y'all are weak to a cocky smirk. Oh, think I'm wrong? Well, I think Weavile and their 58.4% Smash rating would beg to differ! But should be we so surprised? Weavile are some of the best thieves in the Pokemon world, only natural they steal hearts as well!

11. I have one word for all y'all: Tentacles! Well, no, I also have one statement to make as well: Damn, Tangrowth's poll was a lot closer than I expected! Considering how previous tentacle having Pokemon went, I expected way greater than a 50.4% rating! Still, they're on the list and that's what counts.

12. Another even numbered generation, another batch of Eeveelutions! And first of the two, we have Leafeon at a 55.2% Smash rating! I'm gonna be honest, I don't think this is what they meant by eating salad, but who am I to judge?

13. And of course, right behind Leafeon is Glaceon! Well, I say behind but really, having also been voted 55.2% Smashable, I think it's more like "Right beside". At any rate, I suppose I should also just say I hope Glaceon has enough body heat to prevent a, shall we say, tongue on a frozen flagpoll moment!

14. There is a certain charm to the art of the sword. Whether it's the more elegant and graceful fencing, or the brutal crushing blows of wielding a zweihander, there's something for everyone. And so, some of that charm comes to the Ralts family with the sword-armed Gallade! Unsheathing a powerful 62.4% Smash rating in Standard Form and an improved 64.2% rating as Mega Gallade, this Pokemon also clearly knows the art of seduction...!

15. On the surface, one of the creepier ghosts pokemon has come up with! But deeper down, simply a psychopomp who simply guides lost spirits home! And even further into the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games, A Capital-B Bastard that fans none-the-less can't help but love! Regardless of how you see them, Dusknoir is on the list with a 53.6% Smash rating! Maybe my call to the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon fans worked...

16. Elegant. Beautiful. Inspired by one of the more dangerous youkai in Japanese folklore. This and much more perfectly describes the next member of the Sultans of Smash, Froslass! With a cool 67.9% Smash rating, seems some of y'all are solid for a reason that doesn't involve being frozen.

17. When it comes to time, it just always feels like there's never enough. Never enough, unless you're Dialga, the next name on our list! Clocking in at a brilliant 62.2% rating in its Standard Form and at 51.6% in Origin Form, It seems many of you always have time for Dialga.

18: Are you someone who feels like you never have enough space in your life? Well then maybe you need a little more Palkia in your life! Shining brightly with a 61.6% Smash rating in Standard form and a 53.3% rating in Origin Form, it is apparent that there is always space in your hearts for Palkia.

19: Can't you feel it? The love creeping through your veins-the eldritch presence warming your heart? If the answer is yes, then you may be one of the many, many people who voted for Giratina! Altered Forme alone would have been a major player in the Sultans at an impressive 72.1% Smash rating. But that pales in comparison to Origin Forme's overwhelming 80.2% Smash rating! Puting Giratina in place as only the third Pokemon to have a form match or exceed 80% smash! Very impressive.

20: The moon. Since before history was even written, there have been many qualities associated with our celestial sibling and figures associated with it, and one of those traits has been "Very Attractive", especially where the crescent moon is involved. And according to 54.8% of the votes, Cresselia has definitely inherited that trait! Plus, who wouldn't want to sleep with a bringer of good dreams?

21: But crescent is not the only phase of the moon. Every once in a while, the moon obscures itself, cloaked in the shadows of the new moon phase. And emerging from that shadow is Darkrai and their 71.9% Smash rating! Seems many of y'all are gonna be having a different kind of nightmare... Related, do you think Darkrai would count more as an incubus or a succubus?

22. Last but certainly not least, we have The Alpha of Alphas. The Creator. The Thousand Arms That Built The World. The Pokegod themself, Arceus! With a 74.6% Smash rating and the highest BST of any untransformed Pokemon, Arceus has created a space for themselves in the Sultans of Smash. And yes, we have a reliable source of art for Arceus's other types, polls for them will follow... uh... eventually?

And with that, we have brought the Gen IV Who's Who of Smashing to a close and raised ourselves to a total of 88 Sultans of Smash! Stay tuned, we'll be making more polls sooner than you think!

The battle was a little tough, with type advantage and all. The spunky Pokemon was fast, and unlike the other Shinx'(…S? What plural for Shinx hello??? My brain says it just ' or es,,, I am LOSING IT), the attitude was different than a Pokemon fighting him to run him away from their territory. It looked to have more fun, using moves just so the battle is longer than needed for a level 5 Shinx, but once Nightwing spotted a chance, he threw the Pokeball he painstakingly made.

Beat that future capitalism Pokeball factories!

Oh, god he is losing it, he's not even from the Pokemon universe, why is he sticking it to the man of a world he ain't going to stay in!? Who cares about the dead artistry of making Pokeballs, or the economy and possible bad business practices in the Pokémon world has, get it together Dic- Nightwing!

The blue-clad hero watched the ball sway left to right, dread filling his stomach as it took its time. He would have to run away from this Pokemon and lose getting another partner until the next area, Garth the Oshawott was panting heavily as it was, slightly paralyzed it would be a big gamble to continue with this outcome.

When he heard the click relief washed over him as he grabbed his new friend just before the sun set.

Nightwing picked up Garth the Oshawott as well, the little otter Pokemon relaxed immediately in the hero's arms, "You did well, bud. Rest up, I'll get us to camp." a soft, tired "Osha." came from the Pokemon as he walked up the hill, Starly's flew away and Bidoofs look at him, cocking their heads like they do. The settles as Nightwing healed his Pokemon, letting them eat the food he prepared as he chewed on the camp's food. Watching the new addition to his team wolf down his meal like the poor little guy was starving with the unique orange coloring reminded him of someone he missed so much, "Since Garth got a nickname... I'll call you Wally, you act just like him." he said, tone a little sad as he thinks about his boyfriend, the Shinx perked up running straight for the hero's lap with a happy look on his face, that cheered him up a bit, "I take you like the name, huh?" petting through the soft fur of his new companion. Akari will be nervous with the Shinx, but that is a future problem.

For now, Nightwing and his friends rest, he has a Pokedex to fill and duties to do as well as find his back home, all he can home is everyone back there was fine without him for the time being.

He misses home.

Clark handed the teen a comm to stick in his ear, "Okay, so I just run until I find him, shouldn't be that hard... right?" nerves were getting to him, he wished Barry could do this for him, but he couldn't, banned from it by a weird timelord (Sluggy note: It me, honestly,,,, not even bec birdflash I think it hilarious if you can ban a speedster from that damn thing, like "no sir you can't use this for two months, you already made a rip I'm fixing as we speak go to your room.") but he pushes those thoughts away, he is on a mission.

Once the speedster left, Barry turned towards Bruce with a glare, "I can't believe you talked me into this, he better come back I swear B." he poked the bat's chest, "The numbers don't lie, he will come back. Tim boot up the tacker and comm." Tim nods and brings it up to the big league computer.

They can only hope Dick was okay and Wally can find him.

Finished up the Teal Mask DLC yesterday, decided to draw up a post of all my shinies so far! All of them except Toasty are under the cut, she's the most specialist baby.

All the full evolved ones here, including my beloved Ralts family line!!! Got some NFE mons I'll get around to evolving, but until then they're Shinx, Goomy, and Toedscool!

lore/universe notes for my ocs below the cut, just for reference :-) im gonna go play pkmn after i write this

LEGION is largely meant to be a self-insert (non-faller) npc trainer during the course of pokemon sun/moon (particular focus on moon since thats the one i fully finished). he was born in alola on akala island, but his family is unovan/sinnohian, and he was raised worshipping both arceus and palkia under a more modern loosey-goosey religious interpretation (which he still somewhat believes, but he holds a more pantheistic view now). his home is off of route 17, about a minute before you hit po town. rent is incredibly cheap for a semi-decent house (emphasis on semi), which is why he stays there. theyre neutral with plumeria, kukui, and nanu, and theyre getting closer to guzma, but they actively avoid the rest of team skull (theyre not against the existence/purpose of the team, but theyre against the teams actions). HE IS A VERY TOUGH TRAINER TO BEAT. he has been training pokemon (bean and jeffrey specifically) since he was 10, and he will be 24 soon. however, they didnt enter the island challenge until they were 11, per the rules. he was going through the island challenge around the same time as both guzma and kukui, but he didnt talk to either of them very much outside of casual pokemon battling antics. legion did not finish the island challenge, because climbing mount lanakila for the final battle was too much on his joints, and he doesnt have any ride pager pokemon. they focused on making cloths for bean before starting the island challenge, and even sold them during the island challenge for extra vitamin money. he is currently trying to save up enough to survive solely off of his mimikyu cloth business, with a further focus to buy and fix up his current house on ula’ula island. soup from paldea is his cousin, and mort from sinnoh (this is sinnoh soup tht is currently in hisui i am just changing his name for distinction from Soup Cornerstonefriend) is also his cousin.

SOUP is a self-insert (non-faller) kind of for the scarlet protagonist but like if they did the kitakami trip first and didnt get koraidon. they are from unova and were raised similarly to legion, but they hold a more atheistic worldview due to not knowing what to believe. they got their first four badges in the unova league* before having to move to paldea, but the trio badge didnt transfer, so they only have three badge credits**. he has dual-registration at blueberry academy, but hasnt done much but catch pokemon there due to not being done with the paldea league. they do not have any ride pokemon, but they have interest in finding a good cyclizar. theyre not a chosen for ogerpon (is this the terminology? idk), but she is part of their team. they snuck off to oni mountain whenever they would get overwhelmed and eventually stumbled into ogerpons den while trying to calm himself down. they bonded over time and became close friends, and he ended up doing the mask quest alone before leaving with ogerpon. legion from alola is their cousin, but mort from sinnoh is a more distantly related family member.

MORT is a (non-faller) self-insert that is neither the protagonist nor a npc, but he sure exists in the pearl/legends arceus timeline. i am not getting into his lore because he has more than legion (pearl was my first pkmn game i finished after all), just know that he is there and he is the reason these bitches all have a member of the shinx line. not because of breeding hes just catching them and sending them out like 🤲 for your training journey. he is closely related to legion (their dads are brothers), and hes more distantly related to soup (his mom is soups dads cousin). he is the only one of the group currently aware of leilanis existence, but only in passing.

LEILANI is a non-faller oc based off of my style savvy/fashion dreamer oc (PLEASE HMU IF YOU HAVE PLAYED THESE GAMES PLEASEEEE), and she is neither the protagonist nor a npc, but she still exists in the pearl timeline like mort. i am still working on her stuff from when she was alive! she lives east of oreburgh city, where the graveyard in legends arceus is. thats her graveyard babey! she just uses the words interchangeably because shes only pedantic about being reanimated and not another kind of undead. she lives in a mausoleum and the vibes are sick as fuck. thats all i got rn for her though. she doesnt really know of morts existence.

** YIPPEE SOUP HC or at least i think its a hc idk if its a canon thing or not! badge credits: if a trainer is going through one league and if, due to any circumstances, they have to transfer/move to another region before finishing that league, their badges will transfer over to that region where possible. for example, both unova and paldea have bug, normal, and electric-type badges, so those transferred. however, grass and water are their own individual badges in paldea, which is why the trio badge did not transfer.
