META RUNNER the next RWBY?

Imagine a world like our world but its hierarchy is built around how good you are at video games. Doing Speedrunning, competing in battle royals, having the highest score means everything. Some people even replace their arms for robotic arms to make their speed and reaction time faster. Sounds stupid doesn’t? How would something like that even work? Well, Glitch productions made it work. Meta Runner is a sci-fi action series about a cyborg girl named Tari who finds herself in the crosshairs of world class Meta Runners as she discovers she has the uncanny ability to warp into video games. 

The show is amazing considering how small of a budget it has. The character designs are awesome, the story is deep and compelling and the FIGHT SCENE are pretty much RWBY grade fight scenes. The soundtrack is a bop with an amazing intro theme. The voice acting is also pretty good. 

Unfortunately, Meta Runner went under most peoples radars considering the series was posted during the time RWBY V7 was coming out and the show was posted by SMG4/Glitch Productions who are known for their comedy animations using GMOD and not known for high action, sci-fi. Resulting in a lot of people to outright dismiss it or their normal audience to lose interest in it because of how toned down the comedy is (this still has hilarious comedy in it, just not as much). So I recommend while waiting for the next volume of RWBY to go and try out META RUNNER you won’t be disappointed. (You can find it on YouTube)
