These for me was a time of scary distress and anxiety!! Fear for no food even. 💫💫 For the first time in these past six months I am relived and happy to say that I am moving to Miami, my ☀️Sunshine State of Florida where I grew up. Never in a million years would I have thought that I would ever return!!!! It is very bittersweet for me because I will miss tremendously all of my incredible dear friends and loving and caring people of my adopted country Canada 🇨🇦 that accepted me and treated me like one of their own!! 🔆What am I going to say? What is the caption going to be??....... Should I talk about the guy that saw me shopping in the Ontario LCBO ( liquor store)? I was wearing gym clothes, half parka and a full mask. I could tell he was looking into my eyes by the eye exchange beyond the masks, but I could also tell that he wanted to let me know but didn’t know how to say it. Nowadays, by wearing masks we are all speaking with our eyes. He finally had the courage to tell me, “I like your pants”. If I were a single girl, or even the girl who I am now, the best compliment to give a girl is to tell her “you have beautiful eyes”. You cannot go wrong with this!! We can no longer see smile, so that is out. Or is it....... it could be a 😀clever way to say so, because really, that would start a conversation!!! When I worked and lived in Rome Italy, that was the most grocery store, everyday compliment a man gave a woman “che bei occhi che hai” - “What Beautiful eyes you have”. 💫💫Don’t Forget (quit) your DAY DREAMS,,,, they are the ones you remember the most and while I’m not a person to relish too much the past and I always want to look forward to the future, my future is not yet certain, not yet paved out. I am in a current limbo moment. And while that is, I WILL look back a few (5) months ago when I felt like I was sneaking 🪱 out of my country 🇨🇦 in the middle of the night to take a late November Flt to the Caribbean 🤫 😅 Whew! What a feelin’!!! For the most part I kept it under wraps because I did not want to make people feel bad if they could not have the opportunity to just escape for a long weekend.
