mikael-valentineâ:
The words slipped from his tongue in the heat of the moment and he instantly regretted calling her snobby, âyes, but can we move on from it?â Right now, he could not handle a fight with his best friend. Especially when the two were staring together in this production and playing a couple. âIâm sorry, it has just been a crazy morning.â Mikael knew he should start taking the musical more seriously and for his friendâs sake he would try to put more effort into it. As she spoke, Mikael rolled his eyes as he took in a breath. âA little facial hair? Wow!  What if I shaved off your head? It is only a little hair.â He smacked his lips, âwe will get it down. Weâve improved tremendously already and Iâve been practicing my high notes like your mom told me to. So chill out! This isnât Broadway, it is a small town theater production. I promise you over ninety-five percent of these people wonât know if or when a mistake is made.â
âWe can move on from it when you apologise, because that wasnât really unnecessary, Mik.â She didnât want to argue with him either, they were usually a team in everything so this being at odds was no fun, still the use of the word snobby was a bit of a hot button for her. She did really want him to say sorry. And he did, seconds later, which made her sigh before nodding her head. âItâs fine, letâs just move on. You donât look bad without a beard for the record. I met you without on, remember? You might have forgotten what that looked like but weâre not all goldfish.â Giving him a nudge as she smiled at him softly, starting to laugh as he talked about shaving off her hair. Well that would be horrible, he was right, sheâd hate it. âI know, I know itâs not broadway but that doesnât mean we shouldnât take it seriously! I mean, these people are still coming to see a good show, Iâll notice if we make a mistake even if they wonât.â Not having a show to perform in had been weighing on her badly, so this was like a lifeline, maybe that was why Julia was taking it a little too seriously at times.

While it was evident where they came from, two different poles, there were parts of them that had to draw the other in before rejecting all together. The way they avoided alcohol went beyond the bitterness and a distaste for the vertigo it would soon impose. There was something underlying, a hesitance rather than a disgust. They seemed to both understand the two sides of seeing the bottom of a bottle, but it seemed more second hand than anything else. There was a lingering curiosity in one or both, but a unanimous decision that sobriety was better.
âThere wasnât really anything good cable, and I wasnât much of a reader. I was outside a lot, or in the garage trying to make myself look busier than I was,â Darcy recalled. He had to devote his whole body to something to keep himself out of trouble, leave no room for distraction or opportunity for interjection for his parents. They always found a way, of course, but Darcy liked to think he could avoid it. âI liked being anywhere but home, honestly. I was all over the place. I donât think thatâs changed much since.â
He picked at the popcorn, one kernel between his fingers before he finally placed it in his mouth. He let it melt on his tongue, contemplating consuming it all together.Â
âWhat kind of popcorn is this?â He asked, looking from the bowl to Julia.Â
Wrapping her hand around her wrist once she was settled on the sofa the girl started to twist it back and forth, a nervous tick she had developed when she was much younger and apparently never really grew out of. Anyone who knew Julia was well aware of it, but obviously Darcy was fairly new to her life, it might take him a little while longer to catch on. âIn the garage to fix cars?â It was either that or working out, but sheâd decided to ask the most obvious one first, save herself looking like a total idiot if she was wrong about the working out thing. Although he did look like heâd seen a weight or two in his life. Actually he was pretty attractive she found herself thinking before catching herself, pushing it to one side. âIâm sorry.â Clearly his home life had been less than good if he wanted to be away from it all the time.
âI spent a lot of time away from home, especially once I started performing, my family were back in Asteria a fair bit but I had to stay in the city because Broadway waits for no one. Even though Mom would come down as much as she could, when she was performing that was even easier obviously.â Watching him looking at the kernel before asking a question she might have done herself if the roles were reversed Julia started to wonder if there was another quirk they shared - not that quirk was really the right word. âSalted, itâs called Skinny Pop, itâs all GMO free and gluten free, makes me feel a little less guilty for eating it.â She admitted.

He shouldnât be offended by her words because he knew how protective Julia was over her little sister, but it hurt nonetheless. Caleb had never wanted to hurt anyone a day in his life, least of all Olivia. âSorry, just tryinâ to help.â He held up a hand defensively and went back to brushing his horse. Maybe it was dumb for him to think that after more than fifteen years theyâd all be over it. He knew how small towns worked and the way people held onto things, but it was hard to move on when people kept bringing up the past. He kept his eyes down and continued to work with his horse, watching her struggle a little more before he sighed and finally got to his feet. Caleb walked over and stood beside her, lacing his fingers together and putting them down near her feet. âLet me give you a boost. Itâll be easier this way.â
Somewhere deep down Julia knew that Caleb hadnât intended to hurt Olivia, but her loyalty for her baby sister ran deeper than any forgiveness for an ex boyfriend of hers. Especially since she had looked after her a lot when they were younger, sometimes it felt more like Olivia was her daughter rather than just her sister, just like Ashton felt more like her son than her brother. âYes well, Iâm sure Iâll manage it eventually.â She was sure of no such thing, pressing her lips together as she carried on trying to work out what was going on. Glancing over her shoulder as she spotted him in her peripheral vision the brunette glanced down at his hands, raising her eyebrows. âAs long as youâre not planning on dropping me on my face as some kind of payback for not being your biggest fan? This face has to play Morticia in likeâŚtwo weeks. Leanne Rhodes would kill you.â Not an over exaggeration and the man would know it too. Â

âIn the flesh!â Summer grinned. She wasnât sure why she was nervous standing in front of Julia. Perhaps because the girl had seen parts of her that others had not. Living in New York wasnât easy, and Julia saw all of it. She saw how she struggled, and how desperately she wanted the role of Heather Chandler. She would never wish ill health on anyway, but at the same time, she really wanted to be able to perform. âI would have called, but it was all a last minute thing, really. One minute Iâm in Brooklyn and the next Iâm in JFK flying back,â she chuckled lightly. She accepted the hug, kissing her friendâs cheek. âStop it. You could be wearing a trash bag and you could look amazing.â She followed her into the house, taking a look around. It was much bigger than her own, which was no surprise. âItâs gorgeous, babe. So how are you? I heard you finished up with Anastasia. I saw the show a couple of times with Isaac and you were incredible. The role was made for you.â
âI can see that! You certainly know how to make something a surprise.â Julia laughed, giving her a tight squeeze as they hugged before closing her apartment door behind Summer, heading towards the kitchen. âGod, I would do anything to be back in Brooklyn right now. Just for an afternoon, I miss that place a lot. Do you want a drink?â The brunette offered as she flicked the kettle on, planning on making herself a little tea with some honey in it for good measure, always one to put her vocal cords before anything else. Probably why even when they had been in a show together Summer had never been able to go on stage as Heather chandler. Julia took too many precautions, she took her work too seriously. âThank you, I spent a couple of weeks when I got back just making it more homely, you know what itâs like when youâre in the city for a show, this place just felt so cold when I finally got back.â Beaming at the compliment on her performance she nodded. âFinished a couple of months ago, closing night was probably the most emotional day Iâve had in a while. What about you, what have you been up too?â She wanted to ask if she was in a show but also would feel like an asshole if the answer was no, or actually even if it was yes and showed that sheâd not been closely following the other girlâs career. thaddeusmooreâ:
LOCATION: Anywhere WHO: @juliarrpâ
Although the Moore family had a stunning country home up in Connecticut Thaddeus decided to move down to his beach home in Asteria. The wife insisted on joining him to keep up appearances, even though they had not shared a bed in ages. Not in the mood to watch her down more pills with alcohol, he decided to roam around the small town. Thaddeus knew how to get around for the most part and even knew many of the locals from his vacation getaways.
As he strolled down an aisle, his brow perked up when he noticed a slender brunette just a few feet away from him. Â Donât do it Thaddeus. Â It was a small town after all and he was already torn between a wife and a mistress, but at some point he couldnât help himself. Â âHello Miss,â he greeted the lady. Â âI hate to be a bother, but I could have sworn you are Julia Rhodes from Broadway. Â I believe I saw you in Anastasia and a few others that slip my mind right now.â
Julia was shopping for basics in the local supermarket when she heard a man come up behind her, turning around with a bright smile, friendly as always. She didnât recognise the older man but that was hardly a surprise since sheâd been out of town for most of her life. Clearly he recognised her though from what he was saying, which brought an even bigger smile to her face. âNo, no not a bother at all. Yes, thatâs me. Wow, you have an incredible memory, are you a fan of musicals?â It wasnât common for men to be considerable fans of her art form, but potentially that might be about to change. âWhat is your name? Itâs so lovely to meet you.â Her ego was boosted obviously, it was impossible for it not to be, she loved people having seen her shows.

summer-austinâ:
Location: Juliaâs House Time: Early Evening Open to: [ @juliarrp ]
Summer loved being back in Asteria, especially because she got to see everyone who she had completely forgotten about since high school. It was weird seeing them with lives, and sometimes she felt jealousy that they had achieved so much, There was one person, however, that she had held back until last. Julia knew Summer in New York, and that meant that she still had a thread connecting her old life to her new one.Â
The best plan of action, Summer decided, was to rip off the band aid. She grabbed a bottle of wine at the store and made her way over to Juliaâs house, the thought of calling first never occurring to her. Dramatic entrances were always the most appreciated, right? She knocked a rhythm on the door and took a step back, bouncing slightly from foot to foot as she waited for the door to open. âJules!â She exclaimed as she came face to face with her. âLong time no see, babe.â
Julia hadnât been expecting anyone, actually she had been pottering around her apartment finishing up some little odd jobs sheâd left until the last second. The last few weeks had been pretty hard on her in some ways because being away from New York was starting to grind her down, she loved Asteria but it was small town life, nothing like her Broadway life. In fact it was the total opposite. Luckily thanks to her mom organising for the musical to be put on in town the brunette had been back in rehearsals for a while so despite being exhausted she was also feeling much more herself. Which was no doubt a relief to everyone around her as well, especially Leanne.
Hearing a knock she put down the duster she had been using to wipe off one of the bookshelves above the television, climbing down from her perch to find out who it was. âSummer?!â Her tone of surprise was evident as she came face to face with the girl who had understudied her in Heathers years ago. Except sadly (for Summer maybe), Julia had never allowed herself to be off sick and therefore Summer had never been able to go on for the role. Since then they had mixed in similar circles in New York, hanging out from time to time, so it was nice to see her back in their hometown. âI didnât know you were back, you silly you should have texted me to say you were coming back to town. How are you?â She welcomed her with open arms for a warm hug. âCome in come in! Please ignore what i look like, iâve been spring cleaning.â

restingsinnersâ:
âIt was something about a little girl with red hair, red dress? Rich parents and she got almost thrown off the Eiffel tower? No, that was the little school kid orphan. Madeline? Itâs that, but the other one,â Darcy rambled off, grimacing at his own lack of knowledge. As a kid, there were other ways to have fun that didnât require pestering his parents for a ride or cash. He had snuck into theaters but had been kicked out early on. His better days were spent running down the alleyways of Eris, sneaking off to the bigger cities that bordered Asteria after hitchhiking with a group of friends. So much of his time was spent running away that he never wanted to waste a minute sitting around reading, watching, or being lectured. Standing still meant getting caught, and made him an unsuspecting target for the worst.Â
He settled himself on the couch, watching her intently as she prepared the scene. The popcorn was enticing, and from the bright yellow that stained it only made Darcy go back and forth considering to take some in his hands. He was already counting, adding numbers together to make sense of a proper portion if he did give in. After some thought that pulled him away from the moment around him, he convinced himself otherwise with how the kernel shells would get stuck in his teeth. He already had aches and pains in the back of his mouth. Flossing hurt already. He didnât need to be digging for a snack he could love without.
âA whole new world? I can get that reference,â Darcy interrupted. âThatâs gotta count for a musical somewhere. Aladdin, right?â
âAnnie!â Julia called out as she heard the description of the musical he had almost been made to watch, thinking about how Madeline was a great film as well. Sheâd read the book when she was little, always low key wondering if it would have been like that for her if she was an orphan. Not that sheâd wanted anything to happen to her parents. Obviously. It made her wonder how different the upbringing sheâd had was to Darcyâs because from the looks of things they werenât very similar, apart from that they didnât drink obviously. That had been their mutual bond in the bar, for the same reason as well. Still, she was going to educate him in the ways of Singing in the Rain if nothing else.
Feeling his eyes on her as she set down the snacks and drinks the brunette glanced at him a couple of times, giving him a small smile, wondering what was going on in his head. The way his eyes seemed to be flicking back and forth every so often made her think he was counting something. She didnât ask though, not wanting to pry while they were still relatively new friends. Well Julia hoped they were friends anyway. âActually I hadnât even considered that.â The girl laughed, not meaning to note Aladdin, but then again musicals were so ingrained in her head it was no surprise the words from them came out without her even realising. âThatâs right, see you know your Disney musicals! So if you werenât a big musical person growing up what was the thing you liked most? Like my family were all about musicals since I was literally born, not a surprise I know. I bleed and musical theatre songs fall out.â For some reason it felt easy to chat around Darcy, maybe because something she often felt judged for, not drinking, was a none issue between the two of them.

loganvalentineâ:
special delivery - @juliarrpâ
Logan held the phone between her shoulder and ear as she walked down the street, holding a bunch of files in her hand. âLook Iâm just trying to make an appointment for my daughter.â She cleared her throat as she nodded her head. âYeah, Iâm aware you need all her files which Iâm telling you that I have everything you need I just would feel better if I was allowed to come in person to sit in front of the doctor and personally give it to him myself.â She turned around the corner, smacking right into Julia and dropping her stuff to the ground along with her phone. She tilted her head up towards the sky for a few seconds before she dropped down, looking at her now dark screen phone. âSorry I wasnât paying attention to where I was going,â she lifted her eyes up towards Julia once she realized she didnât have a phone call to get back to.
Julia was heading to see her mom, whenever her head was in a muddle she always went to her family first, and since she knew Liv was currently at the dance school she didnât want to bother her. Ashton she would never burden with her troubles, he was her baby brother after all, it was meant to be the other way around. In her own little world she was humming along to the soundtrack of Waitress, She Used To Be Mine specifically, when she literally smacked into another person. Starting to apologise before even clocking who it was the brunette crouched down to help pick up the stuff that had dropped, looking up to see Logan was the other person. How did this always happen to them? âGod, no, donât be sorry I wasnât looking where I was going either. Is your stuff okay? Your phone?â She had immediately removed one of her air pods when the collision had happened to allow her to hear the answer.

location; whispering willows horse ranch with; @juliarrpâ - closed
He tried not to ever make anything his business when it wasnât, so as he stood outside the barn with his mare Tasha, Caleb tried not to look at Julia who was seeming to struggle with the horse she was next to. He knew the Rhodes family had a bad taste in their mouth whenever his name came up and he couldnât blame them, he had broken Oliviaâs heart, even if it was over a decade ago. He glanced up at her again and tried to figure out what she was trying to do and was of course caught looking. He averted his eyes quickly but then sighed and looked back at Julia a moment. âYou wanna put your other foot in that stirrup if youâre tryin to mount that horse. Wonât be able to swing your leg over otherwise.â He said cautiously, making sure to keep his eyes on Tasha as he brushed her.
Julia had been riding since she was little, simply because Asteria was so conveniently located near several ranches that offered it. However, thanks to being in New York for a large chunk of her adolescence the brunette wasnât quite the natural with the horses as others in town, and sometimes that showed. Taking advantage of the nice weather today she had decided not to go down to the beach for the third day in the row, instead heading to a nearby ranch asking them to saddle up a horse for her, preferably the most calm one available, so she could ride a bit. However she seemed to have forgotten in her time spent in NYC for Anastasia how to mount from the ground. It was so stupid but for some reason she couldnât get her head around exactly what she was doing wrong, a small frown between her eyebrows that was replaced with a look of startled shock when someone spoke from behind her. âJesus Christ, you werenât satisfied with breaking my sisters heart you had to make mine fail as well? You scared the hell out of me Caleb.â She breathed, holding onto the reigns as she recovered.

where: shopping mall
( open starter ) @asteriastarters
There was something about ivory that always really got him. It was like a magnet and he ended up sitting down, his fingers ghosting on the keys. He had an upright piano at his parents house, the music was something that they both enjoyed⌠but this was a grand piano. He gently laid a few chords down and then moved into a classical song. Chopin was something of a favorite. He liked Beethoven as well, but the strings were more his style. His fingers moved into Nocturne No. 1. It sounded better and he glanced at the acoustics of the place. Wasnât bad, wasnât bad. It was then that he realized that he was being talked to, âOh, shit. Sorry. You know, something about a good grand piano.â
Julia was drawn to the sound of music as she wandered through the shopping mall to try to find a store that sold moss green trouser, she just really wanted them for some reason. Maybe because fall was coming along so she was already thinking about her fall wardrobe. Wandering towards the grand piano the brunette listened in silence so she could just enjoy the the dulcet tones. Clearly the man playing was talented when it came to playing piano there was no doubt about that. âYouâre very talented.â She piped up when it sounded like he was pausing his playing, only to realise she had totally interrupted him and feeling guilty immediately. He was probably in the one and she had ruined it. As a musician she knew that was the worst thing possible. âIâm so sorry, I thought youâd finished playing. I was jut saying how amazing you are at it. Clearly a natural. Do you play any other instruments?â

Leanne pursed her lips, staring at Julia with an unamused expression. âNo. No I do not.â She made a little nose as she crinkled up her nose. âI didnât sleep for two weeks after your brother made me watch that.â Sheâd spent most of the night hiding behind a pillow. Ashton loved working her up. âOhh!! I think that sounds perfect. Itâs Marilyn, Whatâs not go love?â She smiled, loving the way she and Julia shared a love for old actresses like Marilyn and Lucy. âI actually tried to go blonde once in high school. I had mousy brown hair and all the boys were going for the pretty blondes. I wanted to be blonde and chesty so bad.. Anyway, my hair came out orange. God, it was awful. Donât ever go blonde.â She shook her head. âHonestly, Epsonďżź should sponsor us, weâre keeping them in business.â She laughed. ďżźâGood, when your done soaking let me know. Iâll rub tiger balm on them for good measure and then seal it in with fuzzy socks like when you were little.â She winked, heading off to make the tea. Leanne spent many nights rubbing her daughters feet down after sheâd spent the night tapping, and later in heels as she grew out of Mary Janes and into big girl character shoes. âAlready on it.â She replied when Julia asked for honey. âHah. I wouldnât put anything last Mik. He certainly thinks this is his show, no matter how many times I tell him itâs an ensemble piece.â Leanne rolled her eyes as she came back with the tea and popcorn. âDid you see where I did his make up and we dressed him up in your costume? Lord⌠I hope he doesnât go out like that opening night. Iâd die.â âWoah, you used to love snacky poos. Someoneâs in a little mood, whatâs going on? Tell mama.â She could see Julia was anxious about something.
Julia tried to suppress her smile at her motherâs reaction, she knew full well Ashton showing her that movie had gone down like a house on fire, hence why sheâd suggested it. Not because she had any actual intention of them watching it together. One of the reasons for that being that the oldest of Leanneâs daughters didnât want to watch it herself anyway. âNothing, nothing is not to love, plus we know the ending so if I fas asleep in the middle from the way youâve been slave driving us in rehearsals I wonât miss anything I donât already know.â Listening to the mom talk about wanting to be blonde and chesty she wiggled her toes in the now tepid water she was bathing her feet in, not even blinking at it because sheâd heard Leanne Rhodes say much worse in her thirty six years as her daughter, this wasnât shocking at all. âI donât think they need us to, the amount of time Iâve been to Rite Aid off broadway between shows and found them literally out of salts is insane. Sometimes I have to go to three or four before I find any. Iâm not even talking about the lavender ones, Iâm talking justâŚany epson in general.â Lifting out her feet she rested them on the little towel that her mom had left next to the bowl for just this moment, reaching down to pat them dry with a smile at the thought of getting tiger balm and fuzzy socks on them next. Just like when she was growing up, even the smell of tiger balm threw her back to being a lot younger. Sheâd not even needed to mention the honey because sheâd been taking it like that for years, underestimating her mom yet again, she needed to stop doing that clearly. She was on top of everything, always. âWhy dinât you just give him my role at the start, would have saved us all a lot of effort donât you think? Well, would have saved me thatâs for sure.â Shaking her head she yawned. âIâm not in a mood, Iâm just tired, I promise. Although being back in this town can be a bitâŚ.I donât knowâŚ.â Smothering was the word but using it made her feel like sheâd be implying Leanne was like that, which might upset her and Julia didnât want to do that in a million years. It wasnât what she meant anyway, she meant other people in town could be like that. âItâs a lot.â

restingsinnersâ:
He couldnât grasp the concept of why anyone would define one of the most important moments of their lives by a man frolicking about in the rain. The words was slipping more and more into his vocabulary since the day he heard it, but Darcy had managed to keep it to himself.Â
Darcy would have been weary of anyone by themselves at a bar, and even more so suffering in sobriety, but he had approached the woman out of desperation. His friends, some that seemed to moved backwards instead of ahead in his time away, had been frustrating enough to leave them all together. However, his apartment in Eris was too far of a walk than he was willing to make. An attempt to pass the time had made the most of it, and Darcy decided to give in when she invited him over. It wasnât the kind of invitation he was used to, and with the way she looked at him when she spoke about the movie, he thought he might actually get through a flick.
âMusicals arenât really my thing. My, uh, roommates tried to switch it up on movie night and they nearly caused a riot,â He said, carefully choosing his words. Roommate had replaced cell mate with some class. He shook his head at her offer. âIâm good, but thank you. Actually, do you mind if I get some water?â
âWater? How dare you ask for something so specific, youâre a terrible movie night guest.â Julia joked a she headed towards the kitchen to grab them their drinks, glancing over her shoulder to look at him before he disappeared around the corner. The two of them werenât two people who would obviously be spending time together but the brunette was actually rather excited at the prospect of hanging out because it would be an interesting evening if nothing else. Plus when did she not love the chance to introduce someone to the wonderful world of Singing in the Rain? If he walked away not having enjoyed at least some of it she would resign her character shoes as a musical theatre veteran. Sheâd have failed her peers.
âOne water, I brought some popcorn in as well so at least if we decide we want it n have to miss any of the movie to pick it up from the kitchen. What did your roommate put on? Because actually the choice of musical really does make a difference. Youâd have me rioting if you tried to put on sayâŚRock of Ages and attempted to pass it off as a classic.â Giving him a small grin she hit the play button and tucked her feet up underneath herself on the sofa, leaning back into the cushions. âTrust me Iâm about to open your eyes up to a whole new world.â Julia smirked cheekily, letting out a small laugh as the opening music started up. âYouâre welcome in advance. This is step one, step two is we get you to a theatre to see one live.â

âWell of course you wouldnât come after my husband. But you and I are friends. If I were in her shoes it would be under the assumption that you werenât one of my best friends.â Not that she really thought Julia would go after anyoneâs husband at all. She wasnât that kind of person but it would be a lie if Adriana said she wouldnât feel somewhat uncomfortable with Mark being around one of his exes while they had been married. She wasnât an insecure woman most of the time but her marriage had started to feel shaky well before she an Mark called it quits, at least in her mind. âYou seem to forget that being a mom also means I have an excellent bullshit detector.â She rolled her eyes but decided not to push her to say anything she wasnât wanting to. âWhatever it is, you should be careful. Town this small you wonât be able to get away from a home wrecker reputation if anything were to happen. Or even if something were to be insinuated too much. You know how people talk here. Did you hear about Kate Jenkins? She and Jeremy Shannon were seen just havinâ coffee together a few months back and everyone was saying he was cheating on his wife with her because she touched his hand or something.â
âWhat, youâre saying sheâs not one of my best friends too?â Julia joked, the whole point of this little trip being that she tried to cheer her best friend up, and so far it seemed to be working. Well, shew was smiling anyway. Julia had no plan to go after someone elseâs husband but that didnât mean she wasnât getting a twisting feeling in her stomach every time she thought of her ex and the fantasy that he may for some reason want her back in his life. Romantically. Of course he didnât, but the girl was only human, daydreaming was par for the course. And she managed to feel guilty from even thinking about it as a fictional scenario. âWell your bullshit is clearly not working well for you today, because I would never bullshit you my dear, itâs against my nature.â She pursed her lips as she looked away from the other, knowing she was right the town was synonymous with gossip so there would be no way for her to escape it if she were to put a foot wrong. âYes, yes I heard, you clearly forgot who my mother is. She basically kept me updated on the town gossip before she filled me in on what any of my actual family were up to while I was away. I heard all about Kate and Jeremy. Look, the thing is, what Iâm talking about right now happened a long time in our past. Even if it were to come out now I donât know it would be worth gossiping about because itâs so ⌠from back then.â Oh who was she kidding, the residents would take it between their teeth and run with it given half the chance.

âDonât get snobby with me,â Mikael quickly commented, lifting his index finger at her and waving it. Still, by her attitude he could tell she was not pleased with him. âOH MY GAWD, YOUâRE MIFFED WITH ME.â As he stood there in front of her, he kept blinking repeatedly as his mouth hung open completely in shock by her attitude towards him. At her response, he rolled his eyes, still stunned at the notion she was not happy with him currently. âYouâre telling me you didnât like my beard? The beard Iâve had for over five years? What am I supposed to do with this?â He pointed to his face, âaccording to you, I look like a chunky twelve year old. Just take me out to the pasture and shoot me.â Mikael looked around for a moment before looking back at her, âare you done with the âtude?â
âExcuse me, did you just call me snobby?â Julia asked as she raised her eyebrows in surprise, one hand going to her hip as she looked over at her now bare faced friend. She knew it wasnât intended to be deliberately rude butâŚwell he knew snobby was something the girl never wanted to be called, theyâd talked about it in the past. âAlright victorian pageboy, I didnât know the word âmiffedâ was back in fashion. If youâre asking if I wish youâd take this a bit more seriously then yes, I wish youâd shown up on time.â Rolling her eyes she glanced over her shoulder to make sure they werenât getting looks from other members of the cast, making sure not to raise her voice at all so as not to attract attention. âI liked your beard! What I donât like is the way youâre throwing your toys out the pram over a little facial hair when we havenât even managed to get âWhere Did We Go Wrongâ down without a single mistake yet.â
