You know what? I think Zenos should come back, but he has to be inconsequential

I want a Zenos who did the math in his head of "not murdering innocents + helping people = wol fighting me" and so he just becomes an adventurer and becomes the xiv equivalent of a pokemon rival.

Like imagine you're just adventuring somewhere and Zenos shows up like "Ah my friend! Finally I've found you! Gaze upon all the sidequests I've done! All the tomestones I've gathered! All of the FATES I've completed! Now I have come to claim my rightful prize, so come and let us reignite the fires in our souls through confrontation!"

And you just beat him up again and he just leaves and starts over.

I had a dream last night where people could add sound to their fics.

Like, when you hit a certain point in the story where the author wants to play it.

And I had no idea WHAT I was reading on Ao3, but I got jumpscared by the sound of bagpipes playing. And not good bagpipe-playing. Like, elementary school rehearsal level bagpipes.

I know I usually depict Jack riding the Behemoth (mostly as a sense of nostalgia because it was one of my first) but my favourite mount in FFXIV is the Flying Chair. It's just so beautiful to see someone soaring through the sky like the fanciest IDGAF.

I like to imagine somewhere in the FFXVI-verse, Dion comes into possession of a Flying Chair and makes the most of it.

Like he and Barnabas are trying to have some sort of parley and he just goes "I see we cannot come to amicable terms. I bid you good day, Odin." and just floats up and flies out of the window, leaving Barny like:

Genuinely one of the best things in fiction is letting a character have a real ugly cry. Get out of here with that ‘single silent tear’ bullshit, you cowards. I want the catharsis of an actual emotional breakdown! Make it noisy, make it wet and snotty and gross! Make it ugly and unfiltered and raw!

PSA: This RP Blog is firmly Anti-AI.

There's been somebody (or some people) using anonymous messages going around certain RPC's threatening people that if they don't become less selective and write with them, they'll use their writing to feed an AI so they can write with that instead.

Not only is this weird and blatantly creepy, as people are allowed to be as selective as they please and threatening someone only looks bad on your end. Even outside of the broad debates about AI, AI generated work has no place in the RPC, a collaborative hobby between artists and writers to engage with another human being.

This blog will not engage with people who openly use AI to generate writing, graphics, or whatever the machine coughs out with stolen work. AI's are well documented to scrape different places for data. You are using stolen work. AI generated content, writing especially, goes against what the RPC stands for. End of story.
