It's my first encounter with apple products but, when i first got my (brand new) ipad almost a year ago I thought i had bought fake or broken apple pencil because it didn't have pressure sensitivity. I asked the (secondhand) seller that claimed it was real with receipts and everything, they said they didn't know how that's possible. I roamed the internet, reddit, tiktok, youtube, let other artists look at it and found exactly nothing. But eventually I just leared to use it with the thought that I will buy one straight from apple in a bit...

To my grand surprise though! when i finally did a couple weeks ago it also didn't have sensitivity! :)

Then the other day i was playing with settings on procreate and accidentally found out THAT ALL THIS TIME APPARENTLY my ipad had weird defect(?) thing(?) It flipped the sensitivity somehow and it works only if the settings look like a sad face because of course WHY NOT

A year. Year of having an ipad and (original) apple pencil (second gen even). Two now.
