Bombardier beetles which are most notable for the defense mechanism that gives them their name: when disturbed, they eject a hot noxious chemical spray from their pygidial glands with a popping sound.
Survival Tactics - Burning Ass
Defending themselves, bombardier beetles shoot a corrosive liquid, the temperature of which reaches 100 ° C.

I want to add onto this because I had a similar idea, and I loved seeing somehow else thinking the same way. I can also see it as Shino possibly trying to keep the bugs inside of him, causing those open pores to stay closed. But given the effects he was under, he wasn't able to keep the bugs under control and they forcefully came out anyways. Either way, absolutely horrifying experience.

Thank you for making this blog, I loved seeing all the different Aburame posts. I appreciate all you've made and I hope to see you posting in the near future. ❤️
Thank you for sending your kind words! It makes me happy seeing that people enjoyed the content even when I felt it might not have been enough. Though in the future I probably won't be making much content as this was a one time special event. Thank you guys for all the love! 🐝💛

Thank you for tagging along! You helped me become inspired to make this all happen back in April. Have this doodle I sketched while I was trying to figure out what to post.

For the last day of Aburame Appreciation month I'm sharing a piece of art that I think an Aburame would have in their home or maybe in the village's art gallery.
The other photo is just a picture of a cool moth I found.
