I think it’s just because Richard Ayoade (KING) didn’t want to direct a sex scene between two underage actors. I get really happy when I watch the film because there’s a few scenes from places where I recognise (I’m from Wales, where the film is set. Where from? You will never know)

I prefer the film but the book is a good read
