Why?

Part 2

"Where were you?!" Jake shouted as you came back. You and Heeseung fell asleep and woke up around 9am. Heeseung then had to take you back home because he noticed that you were shaking whole night. In the morning, you were sneezing and Heeseung was scared that you're maybe sick. And he felt like it was his fault. "I found her in forest just few minutes before I called you," Heeseung said and you felt how your heart was breaking. "Hey! Hee-," you started but Heeseung stopped you. "I asked her if she doesnt wanna visit you in work, more like surprise for you. I told her where we'll meet and I also told her to wait there for me...but i forgot about her. Then I realised she's maybe still there so i ran there and I found her there shaking and sneezing." You wanted to kill Heeseung but after this, you just couldn't. You understood that he wanna keep your relationship private. "Oh, Heeseung, thanks but on the other hand...how could you forget about her?!" Jake was angry but you stopped his anger by sentence: "Jake, I need cuddles."

The next day, you and Heeseung decided to go on date, much better date. He checked weather carefully before asking you out. Really carefully. "So, as I read, it's about to rain from 6pm to 7pm. So if we go out now, we can be back home half an hour before it'll start to rain, hm?" Heeseung asked and you were looking at him so confused. "Um, yeah, I think so," you said and smiled. You were glad that there's person, which cares about you. That's something that haven't happened since you're with Jake but now you finally know the feeling of someone caring about you. "Um and where are we going?" you asked and Heeseung stopped. "Um, haha, that's little bit embarrassing since I dont know," he said and laughed. You also laughed but started to think. Where can you two go, where Jake or anyone else who knows about your and Jake's relationship, won't see you? You got it! "I know where," you said and took Heeseung by his hand to place no one else, except you and Jake, know about.

"Wow!" Heeseung said and you just smiled. You took him to same place where Jake took you for your first date. It was wooden bridge in the treetops. "Further is also something like playground but I wanted to have romantic date. And that's place where Jake took me for first date," you felt like it was mistake to mention Jake and your first date in this place, but Heeseung didnt mind it. "Oh, that's...great." That's all he said. "I-I'm sorry if it hurt you or anything. I just dont wanna hide anything from you," you tried to make it look like an apology. But reality was that you just wanted excuse for staying in this place and remember your memories with Jake. But, why? You haven't felt love to Jake anymore or...did you? Well, you didnt know what's happening with you. "No, no, Y/n. That's okay, I understand you. In the end, it's my fault that I cared more about weather than about our date," Heeseung said and you felt bad for how you acted. What if your actions hurt him? 'I hope it didn't,' you told yourself and tried to believe in it. "So, um, let's talk about something else. How was your day?" you asked and stepped on first stair to bridge. As you were going up, you started to feel weak. Your legs started to shake and you were breathing heavily. You fainted but, luckily, Heeseung caught you.

"Where am I?" you asked as you woke up in hospital. You sat and turned around to look for someone. But as you turned, you haven't noticed injection in your arm."Ouch." "Oh, Y/n!" Doors opened and someone hugged you. You knew whose perfume you smelled. It was Jake. "I was so worried about you. Do you feel better? Are you okay? Arent you gonna die? Oh, please no, what am I going I do without my angel. I just wanna say that I lo-," you stopped him by kiss. He was unbelievably worried, that's not Jake you knew for years. That's someone better. Much better. "Yes. Yes. No. I'm not gonna die. And I love you too, baby," you answered and you could see how stone fell of off his heart. How could you agree to date Heeseung when you have the best boyfriend ever? You felt like the only right thing is to break up with Heeseung and tell Jake about it but ask him to forgive you. Maybe he just noticed how you and Heeseung are close and he doesn't want to lost you. Maybe.

After Jake left hospital for work, you called Heeseung. You wanted to break up. And you were sure about it. You heard someone knocking on door. "Come in," you shouted and Heeseung walked there. He already knew what you wanted to do since you told him that Jake was here and was worried. "So, you wanna do it now or when?" Heeseung asked and you told him only one word: "Now." Heeseung looked so sad but then laughed. "Hey, why are you laughing?" you were confused. You two just broke up. "Sorry, sorry...I just...I knew our relationship won't last for long. And I laughed because of how you said that. It's just break up, nothing else." You were mad. So he just played with your heart. And you risked your relationship with Jake for him. "Leave," you couldn't stand him for even just a second. "Oh, I'm sorry. I didnt mean to-." "Leave!" You shouted and his smile dropped. He was sad. But he listened to you and left. Unluckily, as he opened door, you saw Jake. How much he heard? He maybe didnt understand that you just broke with boy you were cheating with on him. Or maybe he did? "Jake!" you sat and tried to stand up to run to Jake. You successfully stood up but...running to Jake? Um, no. You still felt extremely weak. But you moved. One step, second step. "No, Y/n, sit down, please," Jake came to you and helped you sit back on your bed. "Jake, I'm so sorry, I'm stupid bi-," you started to cry but he just kissed you. "I knew you're maybe cheating on me since it was weird to me that you were always out and that you were so close to Heeseung...suddenly. But I dont judge you. I'm not perfect and I realised that I was bad boyfriend but I'm trying my best to change. Can you forgive me please?" You haven't expected this even in the best dream. "I...babe, there's nothing to forgive you but I am the one who should ask if you'll forgive me." "Angel, I need you in my life. Wanna try it again?" You started to cry again but from happiness. You couldn't be happier. Jake hugged you so tight and you both fell asleep.

"Hey! Where are you going?! You're scared?!" someone shouted and you woke up. You saw Heeseung with flowers in his hand and Jake shouting at him. Jake was mad and Heeseung looked confused. "Jake, it's not how it looks like. Otherwise, YOUR girlfriend woke up," Heeseung said and pointed at you. As Jake was looking at you, Heeseung just put flowers on your bed and left. "W-what happened?" "Angel, he came here to give you flowers. I-i dont wanna lost you. That's why I was mad. He always use his handsome appearance and height for getting girls but I dont want him to get my girlfriend again," Jake said and you noticed tear falling down of his cheek. "Babe...He won't get me back. I'm with you, he needs to understand it," you tried to make Jake sure. It hurt you seeing him crying since it has never happened before. "I love you," you told him quietly and kissed him on his forehead. He smiled and answered: "I love you too, princess."

The other day, you could go back home. You were sad, that Jake hasn't told you he will come for you so you called Heeseung. Of course, it was mistake. Big mistake.

,,Jake? What did I do to you that you act like this?" you asked and Jake just continued packing his luggage. ,,I'm not gonna spent here more time. I loved you but you...oh. And you, Heeseung, you were my best friend, almost my brother. How could you?!" Jake shouted and closed door. You started to cry and Heeseung hugged you. You both were so in love but you still felt love to Jake. It was so painful for you. But that's life.

*flashback to how it started*

On beautiful morning, you decided to surprise your boyfriend at work. You baked for him his favorite dessert! You tried to make it taste differently than other time. "Just a few powdered sugar on top of it and it'll be done," you said and packed dessert.

As you were standing on bus stop, it started to rain but you forgot your umbrella. Because it was raining heavily, you needed to protect firstly present for Jake. You took your jacket off and covered package. "Oh no, I spent hours on it....and Jake didnt even taste it," you said to yourself when you noticed, there're no drops falling on you anymore. You looked up and noticed tall boy right next to you, holding umbrella above you and him and looking on road. "In TV, they said that it won't rain today. Such a liars," he said and laughed. His smile! He had such a beautiful and shining smile. You blushed and tried to cover your face by looking on your feet. "Haha, yeah. That's job I would like to do because there's no responsibility if you say something different from reality since weather is uncontrollable," you said and smiled. All of sudden, you and that boy looked at each other and it was love at the first sight. When you wanted to introduce yourself, bus came and you remembered why you even came to wait for bus. Jake!

"Hi, babe," you said and kissed him. He was sweating but, gosh, he was so hot! "Oh, angel. We just ended dance practice. And what do I see behind your back? Give me, I want it," he laughed and tried to get behind your back to get dessert. "Babe, first big hug," you said and he gave you hug you wanted. But you didnt think about that as he hug you, he can steal dessert. Such a smart boy! "Hey!" you shouted and he just laughed while eating dessert. "Woah, don't you wanna have your own bakery? You're so talented...and plus I can pay it all for you," Jake said but you didn't listen since you noticed someone similiar in practice room, practicing in front of mirror. "Honey?" Jake asked and you looked at him. "Um, yeah, I mean no, dont pay for my bakery or anything. I don't wanna have my own business," you said and Jake ended conversation with fast kiss and ran away. You decided to look at that boy in practice room and, as you hoped, you'll may get chance to talk to him.

"Wow, you're so talented," you said as he ended choreography. He looked at door and noticed you standing in door and looking at him. He smiled and you got butterflies in stomach. You both noticed that both of you are blushing. "Thanks. Um...are you waiting for someone?" he asked and you shook your head. "No. My boyfriend is already gone so. Yeah haha, I'm not," you said as you walked in practice room. He was drinking water and your butterflies started to fly wider. He was hot and attractive even when he was just drinking water. Unbelievable! "Oh, boyfriend? Funny that I have never seen you here," he laughed. "Yeah, I dont come here often because my boyfriend dont want me to visit him in work. But also, funny is that I never heard about you from him." You came to him and sat next to him. "And what's your boyfriend's name?" he asked and you got confused. Jake many times told you that boys were so jealous of him when he was talking about you in work. And as far you knew, Jake was the only taken boy from band. "Um, Jake. You don't know me? Since he told me y'all are jealous of him," you said and that boy took your hand. "Hm, maybe he doesnt appreciate you. You need more attention than he gives you. By the way, I'm Heeseung," he introduced himself and you felt something you've never felt before. Maybe, love? You didnt know but you were sure about one thing. He's right! Jake didnt give you much attention. He was always hanging out with saying he needs to go to work but then he came drunk and said that he hung out with his friend. But he never called you to go with him. And about appreciating you, Jake never came to you out of nowhere and never said that he loves you, or that he wants hug. NEVER. You knew that sooner you'll let him go, the better for you. "I'm Y/n, nice to meet you, Heeseung," you introduced yourself and he smiled. "You can call me Hee, that's how everyone here calls me," he said and you answered:" Okay, Hee."

After 5 minutes of just sitting next to each other and holding each others' hands, you realised something. "Oh, no, no, no," you said and took your phone. 14 missed calls from Jake. "What happened?" Heeseung asked and you stood up. "Jake. He called me 14 times. What if he'll come here? Or what if he has seen us and just left since it hurt him?" you were scared but Heeseung just stood up and hugged you. "Look. What's worse? He lied to you that we know about you. He doesnt appreciate you. He doesnt pay attention to you. He lied to you about many other things, I'm sure. Or that you're just trying to get to know his own members? Hm? Think about it," he said and left room. He was right, again. It was all Jake's fault. So you decided to go for a walk, all by yourself. You didnt call him back since you knew he won't care about you.

As you came to your favorite place for walk, you started to cry. You didnt even know why you're crying but you were. You say on the ground and hoped for change from Jake's side. You loved him, at least that's what you thought your feelings for him are. And you were sure you won't be able to leave him. You knew that. Suddenly, you heard your phone ringing again and you decided to pick it up. Jake! "Yes?" you said and tried to sound like you're totally okay. "Angel, where are you?! I was so worried. You know what time is it?" he asked and you checked time. 2am! "Babe, please. I'm sorry. I just needed to go for a walk. I'll be back in few minutes" you said and hung up. You tried to stop crying so Jake won't notice anything.

"Angel!" Jake came to you and hugged you so tight. 'He was crying?' you asked yourself when you noticed drops falling from his eyes. "Babe, I'm sorry," you couldn't hold yourself and you started to cry too. You both ended crying in each other's hug. It was the sweetest moment you've ever done with your boyfriend. Maybe your dream just came true. Jake maybe changed. But you didnt believe in it. Since he sometimes look like he changed but then, out of nowhere, old Jake is back.

"Hey. I brought you your own umbrella," you heard similiar voice and it was Heeseung. You wanted to go for a walk but it started to rain and you, again, forgot your own umbrella. Luckily, Heeseung wrote his number to your phone when you were panicking because you had many missed calls from Jake. "Gosh, thanks, Hee. By the way, dont you wanna join me? I love walking when it's raining. It makes me feel like I'm not alone anymore. And it's my dream to have date like this," you smiled at Heeseung and he nodded. "I also like walking in rain. But for me, I like it because I forget about every problem I have," he said.

As you were walking, it started raining heavier and heavier but you were in the middle of forest. You started to panicking, but he was calm. He tried to protect you by hugging you. When he noticed some old building, he didnt wait even for a second and he took you by your hand. So you both ended hiding from rain for next 8 hours.

"I never even thought about date like this," Heeseung laughed and you looked at him with confused eyes. "Um, date?" you asked and he stood up. "Y/n...I wanted to tell you something." You started to shake a little bit, butterflies in your stomach were so crazy and you couldn't look into his beautiful eyes. "I-I....L...Love you," he said and right after it he smiled. He took your hands and looked deeply into your eyes. "So...would you like to try it with me?" he asked and and you couldn't say no. You knew you were in love with him but...what about Jake? "Hee...um...yeah, I want." You couldn't believe it. Those words came out of your mouth without you knowing. You wanted to say truth, that you're in love with him but you have boyfriend. But your feelings spoke instead of you. They spoke for better future with your new boyfriend. Well, you just had to think about how to tell Jake about it. "Wow! You really said yes?! That's my happiest day ever," he said and hugged you so tight. You knew there's no way back. "I really did. I love you too," you smiled and kissed him. You never felt that passionate kiss. It was 1 000 times better than kissing with Jake. He put his hand on your waist, other hand on your cheek. You put your hands around his neck. And you knew, that the best night ever just started.

It was such a beautiful morning, you and your boyfriend Heeseung were planning a little trip-date. You were making some snacks for both of you so when you'll be hungry you would eat it. He was packing other things like tent, warm clothes, sleeping bags and more.

"Hee, where is peanut butter?" you asked but got no response. So you asked again but again, not response. After 2 minutes of asking you decided to check him. You found him sleeping on bed with his phone in his hand. You decided to let him sleep since you know that he didnt get enough sleep as idol. You wanted to take his phone and put it on table but you saw something. He had many messages from secret number. Firstly you thought it's maybe just his friend or cousin. But later you noticed that those messages are way too different from how conversation between friends or family looks like. For example "Hee, bae, I love you and I want only you💖". You started to cry and didnt know what to do. Boy, you love more than anything else and risk for him everything, cheated on you. You decided to call your best friend and tell him everything what happened.

"Please tell me you're kidding me. Or else I'm going to kill him!" Riki shouted as you told him what has just happened. Riki has crush on you since you were in kindergarten and always cared about you. Whenever someone hurt you, they regretted it as soon as they found out who's your best friend. You were always so surprised why whenever someone bullied you, it happened just once and then that person kept distancing from you. You also can't hide your crush towards Riki but you always hoped all those feelings will disappear from day to day. And when you met Heeseung, you thought that this is day when your feelings for Riki dissapeared. But they didn't.

"I don't know. Am I bad girlfriend or what? I always tried to make him feel loved and he? He just made me feel like h-," he stopped you by kissing you. His lips were so soft and he smelled like strawberry. You hugged him so tightly. After 2 minutes, he pushed you away and dried your tears. You looked at him and couldn't hold back your laugh. He also laughed and asked:"So, you wanna be my girlfriend?" But you looked at him with confusing look. "Um, Riki. Look. I like you since kindergarten but...I still feel something to Hee-," you stopped because you noticed Riki leaving room. You heard him swearing in next room and you also heard him crying. You just felt like the worst person on earth.

THE NEXT DAY

"Hey, good morning, angel," Heeseung said as he brought you breakfast. "W-what happened? When did I-I came there?" you were so confused. "Um, Riki called me that you both are in the bar and that you're drunk and also tired. But since he also drank a lot, he couldn't drive you back home. So I came for you," he smiled but you just crossed your arms and looked in another direction. "Mhm, and do you know why was I drinking?!" you yelled at him and he got shocked. You yelled at him? Well, yeah. You remember why you were drinking but you don't know what happened after you came to bar. "Riki scolded me because you told him that I'm cheating on you. Like w-," you stopped him. "Yeah, you're such a cheater. I always loved you, I always helped you with everything. I risked everything for you. I quit school so I could move to Korea and live with you!" you stood up and took your back to pack all your things.

FLASHBACK TO YESTERDAY EVENING AT BAR

"Riki," you started as you drank another glass of tequila. He looked at you with disgusted look since he didnt understand how you could drink one glass by one without any pause. "Hm?" he asked and you started. "So...I was thinking about what you asked me in your apartment and...we can try it," you said and he look at you with surprised look. You started to cry again. "Lee Heeseung! I hope you'll die soon! Because it's end! We're done!" you yelled and Riki took his phone form his pocket. He called Heeseung and then he took you out from bar. "Riki," you said while tears were running down your cheeks. "I love you since kindergarten. I really do. I was such a stupid that I gave Heeseung chance. He's just-," he closed your lips by his own. You felt butterflies in your stomach and stopped crying. You couldn't understand why you feel differently than when Heeseung kiss you. But few second after you kissed, Heeseung came and your heart-fall stopped.

END OF FLASHBACK

"Y/n, what are you doing?!" Heeseung asked you as you put your hoodie on. "I'm leaving you! We're done!" you yelled at him and ran to front door. "Hey, Y/n, but w-why? I love you so much. What did I do wrong? Why you think I'm cheater? You're the only one for me," he said in soft voice and all your memories ran through your mind. All those good, of course. You felt like crying so you let it all go off you. He hugged you and you hugged him back. You also couldn't understand why would he cheat on you. "B-But...Y-Your phone. There were messages where girl was telling you how much she loved you and I dont know what else," you put your head on his chest and started to cry more. "Oh but...when...what messages. I dont cheat. And I would NEVER,"he said and you looked at him with your puppy eyes full of tears. "Oh...I guess I know what you mean. You saw this phone?" he took phone you checked when you found out he's cheating on you. "Mhm, that's your phone, right?"you asked and he laughed. "That's Riki's phone. We exchanged our phones since it's kind of challenge. It's hard to explain it since we were drunk when we started. So what you've seen is Riki's girlfriend he got cus of me. Okay?" you felt so embarrassed because you yelled in front of random people something what isnt even related to Heeseung. "Oh, Hee, honey, I'm so so sorry," you kissed him and hoped he'll forgive you. "Y/n, girl...I love you as hell. There's no girl that can make me fall harder than you," he made you sure about his love to you and you felt so happy. Then you heard your phone vibrating inside your pocket. "Riki?" you asked and he started. "Heeseung doesnt cheat on you! I forgot about that challenge we started hwen we were drunk. He really loves you. Form my side it's only crush and I'm sorry for that kisses. I just used moments when you felt down. I'm really sorry, but I love you as my best friend since...you're my only one bestie," Riki said and hung up. You felt happier than when you met Heeseung for the first time or when he kissed you out of nowhere or when he took you on extremely romantic dinner and confessed to you.
