It's my puppy's first year birthday today! 🎉 It's actually just a guess since I don't know her actual birth date but whatever.

Her anniversary of when I got her is still a few months from now.

From what I read, a long-haired chihuahua doesn't get their full coat until 1 1/2 to 3 years. But she's hairier already! Lol

Oh hey, I rolled Uncle Chuck on the wheel spin!

I tried making his quills more unique and not just Sonic's style.

Charles the Hedgehog, but everyone calls him Uncle Chuck. He lives in a Mobian-Cultured town and runs a Chili dog stand there. Selling chili dogs is how he makes his money, and being the towns mechanic and repair man is his hobby. If you need advice or a cool story, he’s your guy to ask.

Sonic is practically addicted to eating his chili dogs, and the Hedgehog has a friendly rivalry with Don Fachio to see who makes the best dogs.

Profiles in Villainy

Don Karnage

A renown swashbuckler who is as dashing and debonair as he is cunning and ruthless, Don Karnage is the leader of the villainous Air Pirates.  Based out of their secret headquarters in a volcano on Pirate Island, Karnage and his crew have plundered treasures all over the globe.  On many occasions he has crossed paths with Captain Baloo and his copilot, Kit Cloudkicker.  

His criminal actions not withstanding, Karnage considers himself as a man of honor and adheres to his own code of conduct.  He has abandoned scores and released adversaries when he deems it warranted by honor.  That said, he has proven a highly dangerous threat and should not be taken lightly.  

The great Jim Cummings provides the voice acting for Don Karnage.  The dashing pirate first appeared in the debut episode of Tailspin, airing on December 7th, 1990.

Man, my week has been absolute ass. I feel broker than Donald Trump.

Monday - took my car in for inspection. Failed because the horn dosent work. This is a 2 year old lease. Now I have to take it to the dealer (nearly 4 hour round trip) to fix it. That, thankfully, should be covered by the warranty. But it's a waste of a day off.

Tuesday - went to the dentist for a filling I lost almost two months ago. I had made the dentist appointment the day after losing it but they are so busy that was the earliest I could get in. Now instead of just cleaning it out/refilling it, it needs a root canal or to be pulled. Last time I got a root canal (last year), it ate all my insurance and I had to pay for the crown myself ($900)

I got a house in Sept 22. About two months in, the dang roof started to leak. I contacted a local reputable roof company. I've been on their wait list for an inspection since probably March of 23. In the meantime I hired these shady fuckers to fix the leak and they just made it worse and I'm out $2,500. So finally the good roofing company comes out and gets my inspection down and I got my estimate today.

The roof is complete shit. The metal is nailed down into old rotting shingles and that is on top of old rotting cedar shakes on top of rotting ass boards (the shakes are probably the original roof aka 130 dang years old)

So the total to fix that entire mess is $20,700...

😵

Plus, I need to get my puppy spayed...

Classic styled Freedom Fighters

I was thinking about Robotnik and the roboticizer recently. The roboticizer was so perfect for Robotnik's plans to overtake and enslave. It fell into his hands like a gift from the devil.

It makes me wonder. Did Robotnik have a clear plan for takeover before he received this 'gift'? Was he even planning a coup or was it merely fantasy? And then and only then, when he aquired that dastardly machine, did he actually begin to formulate his coup, to see the chance of his sucesss was quite great? Therefore, worth the ultimate risk?

With how essential the roboticizer was to his plans and how perfectly it fit in, it makes me wonder.

Meh, I tried finding the posts I saw about it but gave up after sifting through too many anti-SatAM snark. I just read somewhere that Robotnik and Snively attempted a violent takeover of the the colony or something. Like, nah bro.

Yeah, that amount of time would do it. I guess it just boggles my little brain to think of people being in stasis for hundreds of thousands of years. But maybe throw in some weird space time warps or something, lol.

The Mobians could've built their stuff over Human ruins too and then so much time passed the knowledge of those ruins was lost as well.

Well, it's a strange story and I'm not sure you'll understand as it requires basic knowledge of the theory of relativity and time dilation. Also cryogenics.

The truth is I don't have the best recollection of these events as I was fairly young, but Earth was dying. Crops were failing, atmosphere was becoming inhospitable, just not the best situation all around, hmm? So every remaining country that was able sent these giant ark like ships to worlds that had been identified by scientists as being earth like and hopefully livable. I, Julian Robotnik, and my parents were on one of those ships. We were put into deep sleep and sent out. Even moving at top speeds it took so very long to reach these planets. Thousands of years.

At first the planet seemed perfect! Vegetation, some of it even agreeable to our bodies. Weirdly enough, no animal life beyond insectoids.

Slowly we began to notice that there was something very wrong with this planet, though, something Robotnik and I still don't fully understand. Some... strange sound wave the planet itself made got into everyone's brains and--well. Robotnik and I were the only ones to escape... He was forced to deafen himself. Children seemed to be less effected by the wave, so I made it out unscathed. I don't know what became of the other children. Perhaps they're still there... Or their descendants, anyway.

So, by the time we returned to, er, Earth, it was now called Mobius and was populated by new things and all the humans as I knew them were long extinct. We were gone for so long there aren't even any ruins of human civilization. Isn't that depressing?

The only other human-like person we've ever encountered was that Lazaar fellow. I have a hunch that Naugus may be partially descended from my species as well but I have not, as of yet, been able to obtain a DNA sample.

Hmm I realize I failed to answer how I came to work for Dr. Robotnik. Well, er, he's my uncle. He took me in after my parents untimely demise. Where else was I supposed to go? We're the only two humans left on the planet. I thought that meant we were to stick together. Besides which I used to look up to him. And my choice was tutor under him or go into the mobotropolian school system...

I like the idea of the 'wrong' planet and its perils leading to the demise of some of the human explorers. I never cared for Hurst's idea that Snively and Robotnik tried to kill all their fellow travelers. This is better :)

I do wonder how long it would be before every trace of humanity would be erased though!
