Ok, so the CatBoy Dan doll was inspired by this post on twitter. (I refuse to call it X)

I thought their artwork was really inspiring so I crocheted the boys again and made Dan look like their artwork. (They know, I told them)

Phil, on the other hand, is without attire. He's very much lacking in the clothes and face department and I need some help picking an outfit.

He's got the messy fringe and the cat ears. I don't know if he should also be in the Legalise Catboys merch top or the Adventure Time hoodie he was wearing when he took the photos or something completely different.

Previous dolls.

I've already made the Gengar top so I want a different outfit for catboy Phil.

Feel free to msg me with pics. The more recognisable outfit that just screams "this is Phil" will be the one I create.

I've seen a lot of fics disappear from my bookmarks, some 10+ years old, because they were added to an unrevealed collection. It makes me wonder if people realize what your fic being added to a collection actually means and if the authors approved it automatically without realizing what would happen.

If someone adds your fic to their collection, they can hide it! They can mark the collection as unrevealed and your fic will be unreadable to anyone other than them! If you're writing works for a surprise event, like a Secret Santa, this is really nice.

But if you're just writing and someone adds your fic to a collection for their own personal use and marks it as unrevealed, that. . . really sucks.

I bookmarked this fic in 2017, almost 5 years ago. Knowing me, the fic itself was probably at least a couple years old at the time I bookmarked it.

This is a 5+ year old fic that is completely inaccessible now because it was added to a collection that, as far as I can tell, is literally just for the collection owner's own reference. There's almost 30 fics in the collection, all of them unrevealed.

Please don't blindly accept collection requests and if your works ARE in a collection, make sure that they aren't being hidden without your knowledge or consent.

Gonna elaborate on something I said. (IYKYK)

Years ago, I'm talking 1998, my washing machine packed up and shit itself all over my kitchen. At the same time, my tin opener broke and I had no choice but to get a new one. This is relevant.

I needed to get some laundry done, I had school uniforms to wash plus a husband at the time who was super unhelpful in anything he deemed to be "woman's work". (I know, right?)

With my small child in tow, (he was 6) I bundled up as much laundry as I could into a laundry bag, called a cab and set off to the local launderette with all the change I could fit into my pockets.

My son was being a little fretful, he didn't like the smell of the place and wanted to play outside but it was too close to a busy road. The A2 to be precise. I took him next door to the shop and got him some food and a kids magazine to keep him entertained.

While I was in the shop I saw they had cheap tin openers so I grabbed one and picked up 2 tins of soup, a loaf of bread, marmite and a chocolate bar for myself.

I'd been sitting in the launderette and the second load was about to go into the tumble dryer when a tall woman walked in, sneered at me as I was putting my clothes into the dryer then pointed at my little boy. "He yours?" She asked.

I nodded and felt something in my brain shift from mild annoyance to mama bear mode because of the way she asked.

I was subtle but placed myself between my baby boy and this strange woman. She then coughed and spoke loudly so everyone else could hear "he'd better behave himself in here" I was about to say something when I saw her get out a key and open the door at the back.

She fucking owned the place. She then said under her breath but loud enough for me to hear it "Dirty goth"

That was it, I was fuming. Not the loud, kicking off type of fuming, but the seething, smoldering, plotting type of rage that comes from years of having to internalise my anger. I'm in her business, pushing my coins into her machines and she has the fucking cheek to call me a dirty goth. (I'm goth, I ain't dirty)

I waited.

My laundry was dry, I quietly folded and bagged it up while my son, bless him, was happily singing little songs he was making up on the spot.

I rang for a cab, loaded my son and the clean laundry into the cab and buckled him in, then asked the cab driver to wait a moment as I'd forgotten something.

I hadn't, I pulled one of the tins of soup from the bag plus the tin opener and walked back into the launderette. The woman wasn't in sight and there was only an old man in there now, sitting on the bench dozing off.

I opened the can, pulled the door open on an empty tumble dryer and poured the whole thing into the machine, tossing the empty can in there afterwards. The old guy looked up, looked at me, shrugged and chuckled as I walked out the door.

I got home and said nothing to the husband, as he would have dragged me down there to apologise.

Just a side note. I wouldn't dream of doing something like that now, I'm a much calmer person. If someone calls me a dirty goth now I really don't give a shit.

It had just been a shit day and she pressed all my buttons. I often wonder what she thought when she went to check her machines and found a puddle of soup in the bottom.

The tail is crocheted with a tiny safety pin stitched to base.
