I'm glad to see some positive dreamers! I'm a littletot and 6, and I have depression and am recovering from shrizophenia. People always assume I'm "stuck as a child" but really? I love the aesthtic and nostalgia attached plus the community is so nice <3
Great to hear! There’s a lot of misunderstandings about the community and mental health so I’m glad you feel positively represented. 💕💕

Hey, I don't know who to ask so I'll ask you: can littles with shrizophenia have alterchildren? For me, it's kinda like I have a child inside struggling to take control of me and I can't remember what I did as a child. I don't want to take anyone's terms! (I also go into little headspace on my own and I can remember that)
Hi there,
I’m not knowledgeable on schizophrenia at all since I’m not a psychologist and don’t study that, however, if that’s how you feel that’s valid. Perhaps ask your psychologist about this? They might have more insight into what’s going on. Best of luck!

I don’t know ho needs to hear / see this today,
But you’re valid, honey, and this is a safe space. Take care of yourself because /your mental health/ come first. If you want a snack, take your blanket, tie it around your shoulders and make it an adventure! If you need a shower but you’re not feeling up to the challenge, it’s okay to stay in bed a little longer. Change your pillow case when you do get up, and make sure you stay hydrated; you’re loved and we want you here.

Not All Age Regressors Are The Same - Nor Are Their Carers
Ok, this is a small pet peeve of mine: posts that are geared towards a specific side of the age regression community (eg the regressors or the carers) and is stated as if unequivocal. Examples would be posts that tell carers exactly how to treat their smols or how regressors feel.
I’m here to say that your age regression has no set limits.
You want to swear when you regress? Go ahead
Your carer doesn’t baby talk you? They’re still a fantastic carer as long as you’re happy
You play adult video games when regressed? Fantastic!
Your carer and you chat like normal and you have no baby voice? Adorable!
You hate punishments or rules? Valid af!
You’re “bratty” but your carer finds it funny? Still a good relationship!
Hate all pink and baby stuff and regression is just an emotion for you? Still invited to my pizza party.
My husband does not baby talk me nor does he feel that his reaction to me will pull me in or out of my regression. This is just as valid and acceptable as what is touted as “traditional” carer/smol relationships.
Please, if you’re a carer who has been made to feel bad because a post told you that you’re not “baby talking” is ruining you partners regression: you’re not! If you’re worried, then talk to them! But don’t rely on a Tumblr post.
If you’re a Smol who has been made to feel bad because you’re not into “traditional” regression stuff: don’t! Your regression is yours! Talk with your carer if you have one if you’re feeling bad and make your own decisions on what helps you regress.
Thank you.

Reasons to use a pacifier
I recently asked my Instagram followers to send in their reasons for using a pacifier, and they certainly delivered! Here is everything they came up with:
(Some of these things may be triggering topics, as they involve mental health and various disorders. Read at your own discretion.)
Mental
to ease anxiety
to avoid the urge to using negative coping skills
to cope with the mental effects of getting bullied
to calm down
to help feel “smaller”
to have the comfort one missed out on as a child
to soothe and distract from panic attacks
to help with separation anxiety
to help focus on work
to feel cute
because of the happiness it brings
to help with the symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
to help with the symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
to help with the effects of overstimulation due to Autism Spectrum Disorder
to prevent and ease tics due to Tourette’s Syndrome
something to focus on instead of hallucinations
to feel safe and relaxed
to calm down after a meltdown or breakdown
to cope with trauma
to enjoy the feeling
Physical
to ease the effects of teeth grinding
prevent nail biting
an alternative to chewing on other objects
to fall asleep
to distract from skin picking
to help prevent chewing the insides of cheeks and lips
to prevent thumb sucking
to prevent hand chewing
because they are nice to look at
to healthily oral self stimulate
to give one’s mouth “something to do,” as needed with an oral fixation
liking the back and forth motion
to keep breathing steady
to help prevent binge eating
to not talk as much
to help avoid smoking cigarettes
to prevent snoring
to ease the pain from a tight retainer
to prevent painfully biting down on one’s teeth
to ease gum pain
to help with Pica
to help with wisdom teeth (the person did not specify what exactly, but I’m assuming they mean pain)
I hope you all learned a few things by reading this list! I certainly did. Please feel free to share this list with anyone, including those who may not understand why you use (or want to use) one. The benefits are wonderful, and it’s great hearing how helpful they are to everyone <3
