Man, FND does suck ass...
I was on the toilet a while (cheesecake gone bad apparently). My legs are utterly not working, my body fucked and my heart pounding. From sitting a little too fucking long
Man what is this fucking shit

I did get it back, yeah
I'm just resting this week. No volunteering because it's Easter weekend and our meetings are currently Friday so I get a lil break
When it got to 4:22 AM and you're trying to plug your PHONE in only you had a SEIZURE in your hand because of fucking FND

I turn to lay on my side instead of my back and it's like I'm finally getting rest after being active for hours
What the fuck is FND even

Me: wondering why we hate the idea of physical therapy so much (to "treat" my FND), aside from it not being covered by OHIP
Brain: hey remember that time when we were 11 and father put us in physical therapy without telling us wtf was going on, to correct the way we walked and it absolutely fucking sucked? Yeah that's why
Me: oh. Yup, that'll do it
#🍀🪴#physical therapy#i hate physical therapy#obviously it helps some people but#pt can fuck out of my life#“you need to do exercise”#“it'll help your symptoms”#shut the absolute fuck up. right noe#now*#no do it#doctors don't be ableist challenge#fnd#functional neurological disorder

May I interact if I don't think endos should use DID terms and should leave pw/DID/OSDD systems alone, but don't think their experiences are "fake" (just think they need their own spaces and terms and should stop taking ours)?
As of now, there is no scientific evidence that endos are real. If they are formed from any sort of trauma and don't remember it yet call themselves endo, that's the fault of the endo community. They don't need their own terms because there's no such thing as an endogenic "system" so unless you are an antiendo system, or a singlet who keeps their stance on syscourse to themselves (if they have one), please DNI.

Welcome to the club, mate
I looked up the connection between period pain and FND and that's how I found out
Scroll to "Chronic Pelvic Pain"
So, good news (/j): FND can fuck with your periods as to why they're so painful.
Bad news: that doesn't mean I might not still have endometriosis (I need a laparoscopy)

What this blog is about:
Sharing our experiences with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND)
You can also share yours in asks. Be it a vent, something positive or something neutral, or just an observation, whatever
Our DNI (and it is strict):
This is for people with FND. Whether you have done your research and think you have it (self dx, always valid), or whether you're professionally diagnosed - you are welcome here. If you are a "radqueer" or "tran-id" and call people "cis-fnd" or "trans-fnd" you are NOT welcome here. Non-traumagenic "systems" and those pro/neu, even with FND are not welcome here. Zionists are not welcome here. Ableists are not welcome here. Those who call it conversion disorder are not welcome here. Homophobes, transphobes, and any sort of queerphobia isn't welcome here. That also includes transandrophobia and interphobia and those against xenogenders and neopronouns. Those who are anti good-faith queer identities aren't welcome here (ie: transmasc transfem, bi lesbian, gaybian, etc). Anti furry and anti therians aren't welcome here. The big-3 paraphiles aren't welcome here. I'm not anti recovery, but please stay away. Racists DNI. Conservasharts and fascists DNI.
Thank you :3
