There's no way I had to watch TWO of my favourite characters wander off to the north way beyond the seas on their dying moments with their last bit of strength to get back to their home because they refused to die in their current location.

But we all know nothing is impossible, only improbable. So what I think is that a character will die, but will be brought back using time travel (please let this happen, I'm feeling so confident rn)

I really don't get the hype about venomous vorpent, Hiccup was able to survive many weeks after being stung and never faced any symptoms until the very end, and it had a cure as well!

You know what's an underrated poison tho? A Piffleworm's venom, this would kill you (and I quote) in quarter of a second, mf you won't even get a CHANCE to get an antidote if such thing even existed.

Hiccup must've said his prayers that morning cuz the series would've ended in the 3rd book if the wrong dragon bit him.

the biggest fraud in all of fiction is the venomous vorpent.

The Venomous Vorpent is an interesting case because their venom acts more like a noncontagious disease than an actual venom.

Over the course of books 3 and 4, we get various illustrations where the Venomous Vorpent can be said to describe itself

In one of the illustrations where the Vorpent describes itself, it says its sting is "as deadly as a black widow spider"

The thing about black widow venom is that it's not actually that deadly. (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latrodectus https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latrodectism)

and in another it describes its venom as "Deadlier than an asp soaked in arsenic" and "More toxic than toadstool-soaked tarantula."

Tarantulas are also not deadly (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarantula#Bites_and_urticating_bristles) and toadstools, being the generic term for poisonous mushroom, could mean anything from death to extreme gastrointestinal discomfort for a couple hours. The only descriptors the vorpent uses for itself that are actually deadly is "asp" and "arsenic".

From what I've read about arsenic poisoning, arsenic is not generally fast-acting. Historically, it was used to poison people because its simptoms could be confused for other diseases like cholera. An asp soaked in the stuff would probably be dead. Which is just as well, since if the asp bit you, you would be dead. Probably. "Asp" is a generic term for "egyptian venomous snake" https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asp_(snake) and some of their venoms are deadlier than others.

So the Vorpent's monologues combined several scary-sounding venoms and poisons to make the threat seem insurmountable, when really it's only 100% fatal when improperly addressed.

Oh my god I'm so gonna cry, there's something about knowing the updates of the dragon life after the end of the books, and had these fandoms been bigger they would've made the craziest crossover because magic canonically existed in the time of Hiccup.

And while the concept of "witches" differs, we can still pull off some nice ideas.

I miss dragon, I don't think humanity will ever deserve them again.

Okay this is actually embarrassing.

Do you ever have these moments where you DO NOT feel like crying but tears flow out anyway? Mostly in anger moments?

It's like having a big scratch bleeding everywhere but it's a minor injury so you don't even feel pain, so then when you tell people “hey I'm fine it doesn't even hurt it just looks bad” they'll think you're just acting tough.

Ngl I wish there was more content about hiccup the first and wodensfang, we know the less about him , I love the three hiccups equally but I wanna see more about hiccup the first especially they dynamic he had with wodensfang ( he was a 9 years old child when he met wodensfang) , I personally think a calm personality with strong determination fits him
