Tony hugged him like he needed to fucking escape. And yeah, Tony was supporting Peter because he couldn’t stand but you can’t tell me that Tony Stark was not giving Peter his everything in a full on hug because Tony knew he couldn’t save him.

And Peter, he doesn’t want to go, he hasn’t done anything yet. He hasn’t lived. There’s so much of the world he hasn’t seen. And he can’t just leave, not without doing it all just once. He can’t just leave.

And he knows he’s going. He can feel it all being taken from him. And maybe he feels like he failed Tony. Maybe he feels like he could’ve done more. Maybe he thinks he should have just stayed a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Maybe he’s sorry he couldn’t stay alive for Tony. Maybe he’s sorry he has to die in front of him.

Maybe he’s replaying this moment on his head thinking he’s given Tony more weight on his shoulders. He doesn’t want to hurt Mr. Stark. Not Mr. Stark. Not anyone. Not because of him.
