EDIT: the gaslighting in the comments is something else. “These protests are different because they are against the state and the police” (yes, that must be why they are being celebrated and encouraged by the regimes with the worst human rights records in the world), “the protestors in these pictures weren’t students and the protests weren’t student organized” (wrong and wrong), “they protested against the war with Hitler because they didn’t know about the Holocaust” (blatantly wrong), “these protests were way smaller” (wrong). Just anything and everything to keep moving the goalposts because god forbid you listen to Jews when we tell you that the literal organizers of these so-called “pro-Palestine, anti-war” protests are terrorizing Jewish students.
Have you seen Craig Parker in the Legend of the Seeker? Still yummy (though playing a villain), guns on full display in several scenes.
I love being mutuals with my siblings bc my sister reblogs things from me with no tags and no acknowledgement of my previous tags. they just reblogged that lotr gifset I tagged "I want Haldir biblically" while in a convo with me on discord about BG3 characters. Said nothing. I'm here pining after fake men so bad every day it makes me look stupid and they just let me live my truth.
okay americans i gotta ask because as an European i grew up with lots of american shows and cartoons and in a lot of them there was an episode where they give the protags a doll or an egg or a bag of flour or whatever and told them pretend to be its parents or something
April 27th is International Crow and Raven Appreciation Day! My comic Crow time is pretty much stuffed to the brim with crows, so it's a good way to celebrate these goth little dudes.
Look, I agree that trying to sell folks on original fiction by citing fanfic tropes is asinine, but at least "oh, it's got enemies to lovers!" tells you something substantive about the plot and characters. I once had somebody try to convince me to read a work of original fiction by telling me that it has a romance with a height gap.
