Random Ducktales thought

Been seeing some goddess AUs in the ducktales tag and was suddenly struck with a thought: If the Spear of Selene is an actual mythological artifact of the moon goddess (well Titan to be exact), what if there’s an artifact for her brother, Helios, god of the sun?

After all, many myths depict him as not just a chariot rider in the sky, but one who sails a golden boat at night. And since Selene and Helios were sometimes identified as Artemis and Apollo, who were twins…

I’m just saying, it wouldn’t be surprising if somewhere down the line, Scrooge unearths a temple dedicated to a sun god. And wouldn’t it be interesting if history repeats itself and what happened to Della starts happening again to Donald?

Another interesting thing to note: one of Donald’s hidden talents in the Rosa comics is that he is able to see super miniscule details effortlessly (like the footprints of a fly on a doughnut), which is how he is able to distinguish the triplets who all wore black turtlenecks in the comics. The god Helios is characterized as being able to witness everything in heaven and earth under his all seeing eye.

What if Donald and Della alternated in Huey’s role of the comfort twin?

Donald ends up losing his temper and goes what the duck on some bullies. Della comes with juice and a blanket at the end of the day. He snuggles against her as she reads her favorite history book.

Della has a bad day at school. Where Donald’s teased for his speech impediment and temper, she’s teased for her rebelliousness, unladylike nature, and her ambition to become a pilot. 

She doesn’t lose her temper like Donald does, but comes home quiet. Della isn’t quiet. Donald sets her nest for her, sits beside her, and reads her favorite book to her. 

Unlike other people, Della understands him perfectly, and falls asleep beside him.

Idea I had for Ludwig and Matilda, what if they're strangers until they meet because of association with Scrooge, only to marry later coming as shock to everyone?

I was discussing this with @donaldtheduckdad. They meet each other much later in life. Ludwig used to work for Scrooge. He may be retired. Anyway, he meets Matilda and is instantly smitten. 

It’d be cute to see their relationship progress culminating to their wedding at the end. It’d be a shock and annoyance for Scrooge. While he respects Ludwig’s genius, he can handle the man in small doses. That ain’t happening anymore.
