!Friendica Support Cloudflare notified me that an image was identified as CSAM. They locked the URL. By law, I need to remove the image from the S3 bucket, but all I have is a URL like this: https://my-place.social/photo/media/<8digitnumber>

How do I find the location in the S3 bucket of the image based on the 8-digit number in this URL?

Something I noticed about Bluesky integration in Friendica

#Bluesky integration in #Friendica is a remarkable feature. You get Bluesky built right into your federated timeline! You can't tell the bsky posts apart from Fediverse posts (except for a little blue butterfly next to them). Your posts go both to Bluesky (& Tumblr) and the Fediverse. Complete integration! You follow people the same way, and they are in your contact list like the Fediverse contacts. And there is no opt-in required like the bridge to get 2-way account connections.

But, sometimes it just stops working. I find generating a new bsky app password and putting it into the settings->networks->social networks->Bluesky setting gets it going again, in case it happens to you. As a Friendica Admin, I get this question once-in-a-while.

!Friendica Support Suddenly, images on my-place.social are blurred, and I'm seeing this error in the logs. Could this just be a Wasabi issue or does this mean something worse is happening? The error sounds ominous. Thanks.

I've had #Mozilla #Orbit installed for 10 minutes, and already I'm really liking it. I brought up a long article about zoning board business in my town. Normally tl;dr. It gave me a perfect summary of the article. When I asked for a specific detail on one item, it gave it to me.

Nice list of all the different Federation applications that are connected via ActivityPub. The first number next to each application type is the number of servers (that my server is connected to), followed by the number of active users of these applications.

Learning to use Friendica was a worthwhile struggle

I think it's been 2 weeks since I started using #Friendica more than #Mastodon.

I definitely prefer Friendica over Mastodon now, but it's taken about 2 weeks of struggle to finally, I think, understand the UI and the features.

It was a confusing experience. Friendica has features not available in Mastodon that I love. I'm not willing to lose these features, so I will continue preferring Friendica. And the Mastodon features I lose are less important to me.

If you plan to try Friendica, expect a learning curve.

For me, understanding the difference and relationship between Circles and Channels, and how to use them, was the most challenging. I think I now understand how they work.

Friendica has an option to not only automatically post to ActivityPub, Bluesky, Tumblr, Diaspora, and WordPress, but to email the posts to people as well. I don't have this feature enabled on my server, but I'm going to look into setting it up today.

Friendica has a lot of interesting features.

Does Friendica have a health check URL path? For example, for Mastodon, https://hear-me.social/health will return "OK" if it's ok.
