Well, they found the one thing that is going to make me watch the Nashville show. Sighhhhh.
Oliver’s new story - seems to confirm a crossover with OG.

I Still Can't Believe that in a conversation where Eddie is talking about his girl problems and his specific problem with sexual frustration...
that Eddie was literally and canonically bouncing up and down like a long time pro in front of Buck. And he did it after Buck said that he wished he could help him, leaving it very OPEN as to which part he wished he could help with.
*Insert loud SCOFF*
And then they want to give interviews saying that fans are seeing and interpreting what they want to see. NOPE. There is no way this was some coincidence. Especially given the long history of OPEN comments made by both of them throughout the series. The writing and the directing is specifically leading us to see something between them. If there is no follow through, it's not because "those funny, crazy fans were making it up in their heads." We have been led here.

Gifs credit to sadgayeddie
Actually, I've seen these or very similar GIFs several times since the show aired so I wasn't paying attention when I grabbed them. I'm not 100% sure that is proper credit, but the person in the notes seemed sure. If you feel they might also be yours let me know. I'll add credit for you too.
Alrighty, I am now 99% sure I have proper credit to sadgayeddie here. I'm keeping out 1% only because anything and everything is always possible. ;)

Changes with Bobby Gone and Chim as Captain
I'm not the first to point out that if Chim is made Captain, which I object to for multiple reasons (Hen#1), Eddie will likely be partnered with Hen going forward. While I love the idea of Hen and Eddie interactions, this could mean less subtext/screentime for Buddie because the rescues are a big portion of the show. We will miss tons of little moments and side conversations that we have previously taken for granted.
That said, we still got Buddie moments via FaceTime when Eddie was out of state so it doesn't have to be bad. However, since I am no longer confident in Minear and how he will handle this show across the board, I am also not confident in anything he touches. We are about to hit August. I still have until October to get over what happened last season. I'm still not sure about coming back to watch. I'm still on Tumblr for it despite how vile some people have been lately.

We, as fans of Misha, have to remember these times and compare them to all of the previous times he has behaved this way so we can defend him at any mental health hearing that he is forced to go to when he is much older, and his grandchildren are trying to have him committed.
Your honor he has always been this way.
youtube
Misha being full of absolute nonsense for 13 minutes and 16 seconds. I love him so much. Watch the whole thing...wait for it.

I had no plans to watch Nashville 911, but if this means there is going to be a crossover I will have to make a brief exception.

Am I the only one who likes smooth Buck, aka Oliver Stark.
Tattoos with no hair poking through to make them look odd is cool with me.
Like, I seriously don't mind balancing myself by placing both hands on a smooth chest. To be fair though, I don't mind balancing on a slightly hairy one either.

A BTS still for Season 2 Episode 4, and shoutout to the episode that made me realize the show was going to set up Buck and Eddie with a subtextual relationship.
Yes. All of this happened in one episode, and the show keeps trying to gaslight us by saying we are seeing what we want to see. I believe in coincidence, but all of this happened in one episode. (Incidentally the forth episode that Ryan was in on the show.)
Bonus that Buck is on he knees with his head in a tailpipe.
This episode had sexual inuendo starting at (47 secs), Eddie kneeling down with Buck in such a way that it looks like he is about to push in between his legs all while Buck is laying flat on his back (56 secs), Eddie steps closer to Buck to avoid conversation with a woman. (1:49), Buck applying lube to a tailpipe while Eddie holds it (2:32), walking so close to each other that Oliver keeps accidently bumping into Ryan as they do the scene. [It may be unintentional to the actors, but it was a choice by either the writers or the directors. That's on them and not the viewers] (3:05), a discussion of Eddie's type and a very quick look at Buck when he says the girls are not his type. (3:10-3:12),
youtube
Tia Pepa meets Buck for the first time and immediately clocks something more (34 secs) further proves that she isn't thinking friendship by giving a sarcastic remark to the way Eddie says they work together. (39 secs), Buck showing concern about Eddie having trouble getting daycare for Chris.
youtube
Eddie clearly doesn't want Buck to set him up, [Nothing more annoying than your crush trying to push you onto someone else.] (23 secs.), clear relief when Eddie can tell it isn't a setup (44 secs), and the moment I'm convinced Eddie began to truly fall in love with Buck instead of being merely attracted to him. You can practically see the hearts in his eyes. (1:02), This is also the moment we see Buck take the advice that Bobby gave him about Abby in season 1. Buck isn't trying to help Eddie escape or save him from his problems, he is stepping inside with him.
youtube
Sorry if you saw the previous post. I posted to the wrong account. lol

What's great about this post is that it is exactly what happened. Bahahahaha
(hushed voice) you're living in the guy's house 🫤 funniest line ever actually. tommy was literally like, you are being a FREAK about your best friend who btw i considered the competition for the entire time we were together on account of you being a FREAK about him. and buck was just like, uh well actually, he's a Renter. so jot that down. also it's not like i have to sleep with him just because i have feelings for him. why do that when i can sleep with people that i don't have feelings for. like you for instance. check and mate. Wait

Another interview in which Guzman convinces me that Buddie is never going to happen in canon. It's just the casual way he answers with the assumption that Eddie will find a woman. When I watch the show or see Oliver S and Ryan G in interviews, I always feel the chemistry and see the subtext, but Guzman interviews always make me think nope.
I don't think Guzman is homophobic, but he really gives off an - I don't want to do that - vibe. I've also been told that he has played a gay character before. I don't know the name of that movie or show, but if that is the case, we know he doesn't have a problem going there. Still, with all that evidence that says he can and would do it. I still get the biggest Nope vibe from all of his individual interviews.
Go figure.

In Today's Edition of What's on My Mind.
I'm thinking about the differences in Buck's reaction to the elf thinking he was 'one' of Chris's dads, and Ana's reaction to when the salesperson thought she was Chris's mom.
First Ana. She was fast to clear up that she wasn't his mom, not because she didn't care about Chris or love Eddie, but because when you haven't established that type of relationship it is customary and natural to make that correction.
And as a reminder.
youtube
But then you have Buck. Bahahahha. That boy is like yep. Thanks.
youtube
I think I will always wonder what Eddie's reaction would have been if he had heard Buck's response to the elf. It would be nice if there is some sort of flashback of Eddie's POV where we learn that he had heard the whole exchange after all, and instead of passing out from panic. He just smiled and never said anything.
