I love reading the re-blogs about The X-Files because someone will say something like “THEY WERE SO CRAZY FOR THIS” and it’s just a gif of Mulder and Scully making eye contact.

Something I love about The X Files season 1 is that they clearly have like 3 pairs of glasses as props for all the actors and they just swap them around without keeping track of whose are which ones.

Head canon: Mulder was an extra when they filmed Jaws.

Jaws was filmed in Marth’s Vineyard in 1974. They used locals to fill the smaller parts (Ben Gardner was played by a local, just like the mom who slaps Brody, the Brody kids, the partygoers on the beach, etc) so Mulder definitely would have been a kid on the beach.

1. I have three cats! Their names are Mazikeen, Sam, and Ivy and I love them dearly.

2. I got banned from a dating app a couple of months ago, but it's a funny story. I made my bio "send my your social security number" as a joke. AND SO MANY MEN (never the women) SENT ME THEIR SSN!!! I decided to teach them a lesson about internet safety so I public records searched them, found their birth certificate, and messaged back their parents' names and the hospital they were born at.

3. I tried my first jury trial today and won! I was super nervous, but it was weirdly fun? I guess I've found my calling or whatever lol

x files studies but this time I tired to achieve that VHS feeling. I very vaguely remember watching some episodes as a kid, and I think this is as close as I've ever got to recreating that memory of a small, grainy tv in a dark room

I really love how Scully and Mulder interact with each other in Quagmire and Detour. The conversations they have are just very real. Something about them being stranded really does it for them like omg stop. Stop that. I'm obsessed with the both of you

The thing about the Chris Carter comments is that pregnancy-as-horror-story is a totally valid trope, and can be very feminist! But he's just completely clueless about it.
