also. i put it in italics, but it would take a long-ass time for goro to feel at all comfortable saying "i love you." upwards of several years into a committed relationship, possibly. he'll get there, but it'll take a while.

he's not touch-repulsed but he's definitely just not a huge fan of physical touch. if he had a partner who was physically affectionate, he'd be willing to compromise, but they would have to negotiate it, with him holding an especially hard line against pda. i think he'd be more comfortable with sexual intimacy than casual physical affection in a relationship, and would be much more likely to initiate that without prompting from his partner.

Public speaking is actually really easy if you don't respect a single soul in that room. I've had an incredibly easy time delivering speeches when I hated everybody I saw and they all thought I did amazing because my disdain was read as confidence. I don't have any tips for you I'm just telling you a fact

my health has improved so much in the past year. i went from spending almost all day in bed every day and having such extreme brain fog that i could barely do anything, to exercising 5+ days a week, sitting up for hours a day, reading and writing, and being able to leave the house several times a week. i still have bad days, but in general, i feel okay! i feel good! and even my bad days aren't nearly as bad as they were, i can usually still walk around a bit and feel emotions lol

still haven't been writing a lot on here because 1) still busy with irl stuff, i'm managing my chronic illness and have to be a functioning adult now lol, and 2) my writing energy is going into fic atm

i've never actually shared akechi's tw.ewy verse, have i?

after dying in the engine room, goro played the reaper's game. by the time he won, though, the phantom thieves had already taken care of shido, so he saw no point in returning to life and elected to become a reaper. since he died in a palace located at the diet building, he is stationed as a reaper in the chiyoda ward.

the chiyoda reapers game: chiyoda is the least populated ward in tokyo. its ug sees little traffic, and therefore games are infrequent. when they do run, they are customized for the current player(s), leading to low erasure rates and most game victors either reincarnating or becoming reapers. imagination in chiyoda tends to lean towards business and economics, rather than art like most other districts, and this is reflected in the ug and how it's run. unlike in shibuya, reapers do not need to earn points to keep from being erased and are unionized, regularly communicating with the conductor as a proxy for the composer to negotiate rules for the game and compensation for their labor.

moreover, because chiyoda is so important to both tokyo and all of japan, reapers spend much of their time on the clock maintaining the ug, managing noise levels and other tasks that keep both the ug and rg running smoothly and without interference. the use of imprints is strictly forbidden without extensive prior discussion so as not to accidentally interfere with political and economic affairs.
