Emerging design technologies and trends & their implications on design
According to “Claire Brotherton“ article CoastalCreative.com has given a good general direction too “Emerging design technologies and trends" also supplying a good read of handy referenced links. “Web design” being her basis but still being beneficial information too a Designers no matter the aspect or focus.

The 3 that stood out for me that i can see are currently trending are;
- #2 Background videos; its true as technology improves collectively so dose our global internet capabilities and what better way too support a design with a visual representation of a video too support your views too your audience.
- #3 Mobile Apps; app’s on mobile devices are a given, but expanding and design across new platforms such as “watches” & “smart tv’s” implements extra design constraints as your audience could change the way they receive information for example through a smart TV, where a video would go further then actual text information as readability maybe at a low or your audience simply wants to “veg out” and just “watch” something.
- #4 Increased minimalism; Its all about your audience’s user experience and theirs no better way of communicating efficiently visually then stripping back your designs to its bare basics yet still not loosing important content “as the web becomes more complicated, minimalism is much more attractive”.
Concluding, our audience’s means of communication will stray & change, its just “designing” as designers a new perspective of reaching out to our audience that's up too us.

Successful Designer blogs
“Blog’s” a great way for Designers too network, from social aspects too even receiving potential work or even idea generation as many designers blog, posting recent work or creating interest for upcoming work, overall all great for publishing “your” work the world too see.
Some designers that work I’m keen on, too check out for yourself would include; Design & Illustration

guyshield-Design & Illustration
Guy Shield is a local designer and illustrator based in Melbourne. Self taught on a diet of pen and ink, Guy explores both comical and serious subjects through his work, taking a cinematic approach to composition and storytelling through single-panel frames. Relating through “location” is also great as his work almost coveys a perception through his eye with his unique style.
His Blogs looks be previously his “own” but now seems the to be directing his latest work to the Jacky Winter Group. His Theme is basic but clear with usability at a high and background colour being white his work is clearly displayed.

iamcrime -Nick Tam
Great GIF creator love his unique work, his use of this of a “blog” is very simple and basic showing image after image but at the same time it seems to still works and contrasts his work well.
