Rants about the Ceroba dies AU AKA One Size too Small AU below. This AU contains incest, pedophilia, CSA, emotional incest, and major character death, generally upsetting content meant to be seen as upsetting. Minors DNI for this one. You have been warned.

Can't get this AU out of my head. For those that don't know, the concept of this AU is that Ceroba dies in the Snowdin attack defending Kanako. Chujin starts to use Kanako as a substitute for Ceroba over time.

He starts having her do the chores around the house. He starts styling her hair like Ceroba's. He starts dressing her up in Ceroba's old clothes.

Kanako just wants to 'be useful'- I definitely see Kanako as someone who has a fixation on being so. It's both from Chujin since he has that same desire to prove himself, but also due to self-blame around her mother's death.

He starts isolating her over time as people grow concerned. Starlo sees Kanako in her mother's kimono and he just. Oh he just can't handle it. He starts pulling away from her and it's the complete opposite of what she needs right now.

I saw someone on twitter claim that lolicon/shotacon and other adjacent type tropes only exist because pedophiles know they can't rape children, so they just draw it instead.

And I am not even remotely joking when I ask, if that were 100% factual and not a blatant strawman; how is that a bad thing?

How is someone with a mental illness choosing to cope with their desires through artwork instead of going out and raping a real, living child a bad thing?

Something that’s always baffled me is so many antis being into really violent or dark media and that’s totally fine for some reason, but as soon as anything is suggestive or sexual it’s evil.

Sex isn’t special. It doesn’t have some special power to corrupt people more than violence. If watching horror movies or playing violent games isn’t going to make me into a murderer, then making or consuming sexual content isn’t going to make me a predator either.

Putting sex on this pedestal as something sacred or special is a big problem. It’s just another activity a human can do like eating or sleeping. The sooner people can just be normal about sex, the sooner all this Puritanism will stop I think. Easier said than done tho…

hey do you guys remember when like. brother/brother and sister/sister and brother/sister ships werent just normal, they were really common? parent/child ships werent as widespread as sibling ships but you still saw both of them a lot. like you used to see incest ships all the fucking time.

it used to be that you couldnt throw a rock in ANY fandom without hitting a whole bunch of super popular incest ships. it was everywhere. it was NORMAL. because people didnt care about what anyone else liked in fiction, because everyone knew the difference between fantasy and reality. and its not like incest hasnt been one of the most popular porn categories all over the world for years.

now though, with the huge resurgence of evangelical puritanism in western fandom and the massive influx of alt-right christofascist antishippers, nothing is allowed to just be fiction any more. braindead little conservative assholes and bigots will scream and shit themselves over people shipping the elric brothers because fandom isnt allowed to be fun any more. antis will see someone talking about sebaciel and start spewing their disgusting rhetoric at everyone and being TERFS and wannabe cops until nobody wants to participate in fandom any more.

reminds me of when a person joined my 18+ dead dove server - they pushed past my several layers of checking they were comfy. Then decided to get pissy at a spoilerwarned noncon prompt - then decided to bring it outside of the server and complain to anyone who would listen

Who just happened to be a minor and I had to tell not to get involved because of there age, though even the kid still found it funny that they ignored the warnings and were still bitching

It's definitely annoying how common this sort of behavior is from antis. I'm very grateful that the individual I'm referring to luckily only seems to be bothering a single individual about this, and while it's funny on some level, it's still annoying. I tag my fics with relevant trigger warnings for a reason. In sending screenshots of my fic to people without permission or any sort of warning, they entirely defeat the point of having those warnings in the first place.
