Y’know?” Scoffing at his own joke, he rolled his eyes. “But for real. Team AOMG was gonna have a rematch later on. I actually have to text Lil’ Boi back sometime later.. You should join in.”

She laughed out loud, shaking her head as she ran her fingers through her hair. “I’ll be eatin’ some tonight, that’s for sure. But don’t worry, I ate quite a bit of everything while I was in Toronto with Reyez.” Lydia glanced at his phone and looked at the map, now much more in her range of view and nodded to herself before slipping her hands into the pockets of her light hoodie. “Hey, I think I might be better so I’m down for this match. I don’t wanna be the worst in the squad, let’s be honest. Pfffft...” She rolled her eyes at his joke, still not being able to hold a smile back. “Oh definitely, I’ll be there representing the ladies for sure.”

“I can leave, sure. But I also should deserve and-or earn that leave. I guess you could say I earned this, I worked too damn hard today. This whole day I was just stuck on one beat and can’t get it any better.” Lydia looked up at the darkening sky and exhaled, shaking her mind of all work thoughts for the time being. “My stomach has been growling, I’m surviving on a banana, granola, and yogurt. This BBQ is a lil’ cheat on my diet but I couldn’t care less at the moment.” She turned her head to look at him, eyebrows raised. “Oh, I am that bad. I could probably bust some girls’ asses, but yours...nah. Pffft why, he bad?” Trying to peek at his phone screen, she caught up next to him as they walked in the direction of the restaurant.
