loved the peter pan references and definitely my favorite romance book. loved james with my whole heart but ladies gentlemen and everyone in between throw your feminism out the window to get into this book. i came around on wendy near the end but didn’t love her. Rus death was gut wrenching and i really felt for james :(

slow at the beginning i didn’t like her in the mortal world. CARDAN IMMEDIATELY RECOGNIZING HIS WIFE SENT ME! when cardan came with to save her from madoc and when she got stabbed i loved that whole arc. the queen of fairy is the biggest badass to ever exists i love you jude! i’m focusing a lot on jude and cardan a relationship but the political war plot lines throughout this book actually had me reeling. the tail curled around her what now……..

Some parts seemed slow and wish there was more Jude and Cardan even though i know their relationship isn’t the main focus of the books. Balekin can suck my dick i’m glad he died! Taryn is the most annoying little bitch. it was intresting to see Jude wrestle with some almost ptsd like symptoms after her capture i liked that that was included it made her character seem more real. (his tail bro i can’t everytime they mentioned it i couldn’t)

I loved this book. At first i hated Cardan but he’s too witty to hate by the end. there’s so much subtle flirting in the beginning and so the kiss with Jude (such a badass) holding a lunge to Cardan is so rewarding. I could guess the plot twist that Locke (🤢) and Taryn (🤢) we’re gonna betray Jude by getting together. THE CORONATION!!!!! so excited for the next book!

some parts were slow and i had a hard time getting through them. i loves the romance between Margot and Olivia! i wish there would’ve been more of a wrap up with Brad like Olivia finally blocking him. spice was a 10/10 everything i was looking for and more!

loved both main characters and the slow burn that came with this book. only took off one star because i wanted to see more of Alessandra in power after the engagement! character development was spot on and i fell in love with the kingdom and the balls. a strong and funny female protagonist that isn’t written as swearing off men yet still powerful is always a plus as well.
