i smile and thank the guy. "thank you so much! i don't know how to repay you" i say while bowing. he chuckles and says to me "no need to repay me anything, this was from my heart" smiling warmly at me. i smile and thank him again before walking to the exit. suddenly, he calls me. "uhm, wait!" he shouts. i turn around and look at him curiously. "yes?" i ask. "what's your name?". i smile and answer "you can call me Drew". he smiles and says "i'm Andy". that's a cute name i thought, because it is, it fits him. he then continues speaking "uhm are you free this evening?" he asks with slightly flushed cheeks. i nod and say "yeah i am, why?" i look at him curiously. he hesitates before speaking again "may i...take you out? this evening. it doesn't have to be fancy or expensive. your way, if you want to of course" he lets out a small nervous laugh at the end. i already feel my face heating up. it's probably as red as my dad's toyota camry by now. i answer him "uhm sure, yeah i'd- i'd love to go! uhm, what time?". my heart is beating so fast, i'm scared that it'll just jump out and run away. he smiles and says "uhm, how about 8:00pm?". i smile back and nod. "yeah! 8:00pm sounds great!". he smile and says "okay great! here's my number" he slides a small sheet of paper with his number on it. i smile and happily take it. "thank you! i'll text you my address". he answers "okay! see you then! have a great day!". i smile warmly and answer "thanks you too!" as i walk out the store feeling like i just won a million dollar prize.

after that, we went on our date, he took me to a cute little cafe with the BEST pastries i've ever tasted. after that we went for a short walk and then, we had our first kiss together. and then we started dating and lived a happily ever after.

Bookstore Boy(bl love story) part 1

hey, my name Drew, i'm 21 and currently in college, this story is about how i met the love of my life

it's a windy day in Berlin and i have to pick up some books at the bookstore. interacting with people is probably one of the things i hate the most, especially since i don't know much german and i depend mostly on google translate. i started walking through the park, the wind was blowing gently, caressing my face. the rustling of the leaves on the trees caused by the breeze was like a lover's whisper. the dried leaves on the pavement were twirling around, following the rhythm of the wind. it was a quiet afternoon, very peaceful. as i got out of the park, i was immediately hit by the loud sounds of cars going by. i continue my walk to the bookstore. when i arrive at the bookstore, there was a table filled with books that were on sale. i took a look at the books for a second before going into the store. as i enter the store, the person behind the register greets me. "halo, guten Abend! wie kann ich dir helfen?". i was froze, trying to remember what that meant, i've only been in germany for a year. i finally remembered what that meant and i answer him. "halo,i-ich suche Liebesromane?". my german wasn't very good but he understood. he then said, "ja, die haben wir, folgen Sie mir". and i can say at that moment, i didn't understand shit. i was feeling so embarrassed i couldn't get my words out, i didn't know what to say. instead, i said it i english, hoping that he'll understand me. "uhm...can you say that in english? my german is not that good". i chuckle a little at the end. he looks at me and gives me a warm smile. "why didn't you just say that earlier?". i blush out of embarrassment and let out a nervous chuckle. "come, follow me. we have those over there" he points at the aisle as he walk over to the aisle, expecting me to follow behind him, and that's what i did. after i followed him, he stopped at an aisle. "this is the romance aisle, the shelf on the right are for the young adult books, take your time looking over these" he says with a soft smile on his face. i look at him smiling, he's tall, a lean bulked body, silky brown and wavy hair split in the middle, amber eyes and just super cute in my opinion. i smile and nod at him before turning to the books, he goes back to the register and opens a book. i continue looking through them and after a couple minutes i end up with 4 books in my hand. i walk over to the register and plonk all the books onto it. he smiles at me and says "a book lover, eh?". i smile and answer "yeah, i've been a bookworm since...well as much as i can remember, i'm in a book club and i need to read at least one book and make a whole summary and present it to the whole club. he nods and and start scanning my books. i take out my wallet and place my debit card in the register. he takes it and slides it. then, his face suddenly turns from smiling softly to confusion. i look at him and ask "what's wrong?". he looks at me and says "your card declined...". i stood there, horrified. what? i literally just used it this morning, did i use all of it already?. i take out my phone and look at my account and it turns out that, yes, i used all of it, and i didn't put more in. my face turned scarlet. what am i supposed to do now? i don't have enough cash. "uhm, do you have any other way of payment?" he asks. i look at him and merely just shook my head. "i'm so sorry i used all my money and i didn't put any more in, i'll go put these back" but as i was about to take the books, he stops my hand. "it's okay, it's on the house" he says with a warm smile. i look at him shocked from his actions. "wait what? you're paying for me?". "yeah, and no need to pay me back". i stood there for a second, trying to process what the hell is happening. "oh, no no, it's okay you don't have to. i'll just put some money in and i'll come back maybe tomorrow?" i say trying to negotiate with him. but instead, he just says "no it's fine, i want to do this" he says, smiling as he swipes his card to pay my stuff.
