The name Kaahon sounds like “Cajon”, an Afro-Spanish percussion instrument played by musicians sitting on it. In our case, Kaahon is a platform for the artists and the creative minds to drum up their passion by being on board. Kaahon is of the creative, for the creative and by the creative people. In Bengali, Kaahon is a primitive measuring unit, which implies multitude. Our Kaahon is of many ideas, contents and forms. It wants to reinitiate a cross-medium communication among all art forms and push the boundary towards a more poignant and fresh expression in art & entertainment.
