In honor of pride month, I will be proposing my personal Batfam pride headcanon, which essentially boils down to

They are all queer (what type of queer is up for you to decide, i've specifically implied some sort of same-sex attraction for Bruce and Dick, but I love cycling through different queer and trans headcanons for characters), but due to them having a complete inability to communicate with each other, they all wholeheartedly believe that they are the only queer family member.

Dick never came out, but assumes everyone else just kind of knows. The Titans have known since he was fourteen and making inadvertent goo goo eyes at Wally West, and he didn't really come out to them either, so he just assumes that people, well... assume.

Jason didn't figure it out before he died, and after... well, there wasn't exactly any time for that heart to heart conversation. He's not exactly keeping it to himself, there are just so many more important things that need to get talked about first. He figures they like, know, and are just pointedly not bringing it up.

Steph, however, is keeping it to herself purposefully. None of those losers need to know her fucking business.

Cass just thought it was entirely unimportant. She is in know way keeping it to herself, it has just never organically come up in conversation and she sees absolutely no reason to go out of her way to bring it up.

So the thing is Amphoreous exists in the state it does because of the Scepter. But it is also a physical place. It’s not exactly like Herta’s Simulated Universe where it’s basically an AR video game. The Vortex of Genesis is sort of both the entrance and digital bubble that surrounds Amphoreous. The only people we 100% know to be real are Dan Heng, Trailblazer, The Flame Reaver and Lygus but Herta was also able to see inactive titan kin when she went to the physical gate of Amphoreous, implying other things are physically real inside it besides the aforementioned individuals.

Cyrene is also likely another individual who exists outside the simulation and she is likely also an emanator, specifically the emanator of remembrance. Support for this is also found in the fact the tarot cards we see to represent the Chrysos Heirs ARE Cyrene’s and the other major remembrance character we have access to is Black Swan, another character who uses Tarot cards. It’s clear at this point that Phainon/Flame Reaver are the Lord Ravager but I don’t think it’s because the Flame Reaver is past or Future Phainon exactly, more that he is the part of Phainon aligned with the destruction and Phainon Phainon is whoever that was before joining the destruction.

Essentially the Flame Reaver is trying to get out of Amphoreous that’s why he is so powerful, since he’s still got his emanator powers and why he is always looking at the sky. It was never about Aquila it was about wanting to leave. On top of this we can see his desire to ‘reset’ the world as actually being Nanook’s desire to reset the universe.

I LOVE all the theories coming out for Mydei right now.

3.3 Spoilers ahead

So far I've seen:

He and the Chrysos Heirs are algorithms devised by the Scepter to consistently run and reset the cycle and keep the Lord Ravager trapped.

He is a "firewall" designed to stop/slow the corruption of the Black Tide.

He and the other Calamity Titans are bugs that were never meant to be in the system, and the Scepter responds to the bugs by factory resetting itself.

He is a virus created by an outside source to set the Lord Ravager (Phainon) free.

He is a creation of Phainon's own will and what Phainon perceives to be the ideal hero.

The last one kind of goes hand in hand with the theory that Bandage Seal copies Blade's mannerisms because of Dan Heng's influence. Like the Scepter can warp/create things into existence based on a person's thoughts. (It's not a Rinn post unless I mention DH at least one time).

Amphoreus being run by an ancient super computer leaves so many possibilities open. Share your thoughts in the comments or ask box! I'm curious what other lore hogs think.
