Ginny Weds Sunny starts off well. The opening sequences of the movie are funny, especially the one where Ginny snubs a potential suitor. But from there onwards, it’s all downhill for the storyline. The love story between Ginny and Sunny seems as contrived as a baby made in a test tube. To top it off, there’s zero chemistry between the lead characters, Yami Gautam and Vikrant Massey, which is why we never have it within us to root for the couple. Not when they drift apart; and certainly not amidst the wedding fracas towards the end.
