hawaii is great vibes great food beaches r fun and i love hanging out w the sibs :3 last day tmr :,(

mosquito bites are killing me but super glad we were able to explore more hikes this trip! and also more food places. we discovered this HUGE GIGANTIC JAPANESE COSTCO TYPE STORE AND ITS AMAZING. literally had everything you can imagine from groceries to skincare to toys to snacks. the happiest i’ve ever been. i had boba today but it wasn’t good rip. maybe i’ll go get the alley tmr. açaí bowls always hit tho ofc <3 xmas here hits diff, it’s a vibe but i do miss the coziness of home too. we watched elf yesterday literally the cutest movie ever. def have not been consistent w this 😃 the thing is, it’s not like i’m forgetting to write down my daily happenings, but it’s because there isn’t much going on in my life tbh :,) i spend most of my days at home since it’s so cold outside and my mother is afraid i’ll get sick like the rest of my sibs 🥲 i’ve been watching my fav show ofc vampire diaries, reading some romance ya from the library, got hooked on too hot to handle s4 (i love trashy realities tv shows), doing chores w my mom, driving the kiddos around… very lowkey not very interesting stuff but it’s nice. it’s getting a bit boring but also i told myself that i need to be bored during winter break bc i def didn’t allow myself to breathe very much during the quarter. so, i think this is a good thing for me. cant get over how beautiful alameda is during december. literally straight out of a fall episode of gilmore girls. the air is so chilly but so crisp here. i’m poor so i’ve been considering to go see sza, sabrina carpenter, + sik-k but i think i will have to prioritize bc my bank is low :,D seems like sza nosebleeds are the move rn. looking forward to babysit when i come back to la and having a sense of routine and independence again. i hate the feeling of having to ask my parents for money :( anyways, another chill slow day of doing chores today; probs gonna read or listen to a podcast :) hope you all are staying safe and warm <333

weekend + today’s recap

spending most of the days w the sibs :) kaiiden and kells r sick sadly so we haven’t been able to go out and do fun things but that’s okay 🥲 they’re slightly recovering :,) hanging out w khoi and khloe a lot, driving a lot and running errands and reading books from library and watching netflix. hooked on too hot to handle i’m a sucker for dumb trashy shows 😁 it’s just so entertaining to watch

excited for more chill days mostly spent indoors. literally freezing in the bay these days :o hope y’all r staying safe and warm 🫶🫶

HI GUYS MISSED YALLLL <3 i will update what my life has been like for the past 2 days. my flight was delayed not once, not twice, but thrice 😄 is that a word? idk but yeah it’s fine tho i was chillin. v picked me up and drove me to the airport bless his soul 🫶🫶 then i ate overpriced breakfast at the airport but everything there is a scam so i can’t escape that 😆 then i hopped on my flight to oak and landed WOOOO

my mom and fishy picked me up yaya then i went home, ate lunch, hung out w sibs and watched barbie life in the dreamhouse until i fell asleep and took a nap for an hour. then i woke up and went to my lil bros band concert for xmas. so adorbs and nostalgic :,) that was me 8 years ago wild. the lights and everything were so beautiful <333 i LOVE DECEMBER AND HOLIDAYSSS literally my fav time of the year.

i fell asleep early and started 10 min of wednesday. i’ll continue it tho today :))) today i dropped off my sibs at school and took a very very long walk w my mom. she do be a fitness soccer zumba type mom so every time i’m home she roasts me for not working out and proceeds to force me to work out w her :D we went thrifting and i got this fire puffer vest that’s size 10-12 boys from old navy but it’s a perfect fit. bless the kids section. also i got two lulu leggings :))) DUBS

i ate my bà ngoại’s phở and i ascended. man i missed viet food SO MUCHHH

imma leave soon to be a chauffeur and drive my sibs to swim practice 🚗🚗🚗🚗 beep beep. e is gonna make fun of me

hai. what a day. started off w a bang aka 14d final 😃 i’m not gonna lie that i absolutely hated it and was fighting for my life internally but it is what it izzzzz :,) i am very happy to be done w ochem FOREVERRR (not including cl but we aren’t thinking about that just yet). then, i went home and gave pauline + her roommates a tour since they starting to apt hunt for next year! it was fun :D then , i chilled for a bit, got boba w my sis in ww, then took the bus to ktown w jess !!!! we were all craving bingsoo LOLOLLLL it was so good. still thinking about the mango 🤤 i also bought a lesserafim album i love them they’re so talented and cool

then i was on the hill and said my goodbyes to some ppl ;( why does it feel like i’m gonna be gone forever HADJSJS 4 weeks is a long time fr

now i am home waiting for my laundry to dry. i’ve already finish packing pretty much :,D also @ the people that live in my building pls take ur clothes out when they’re done i had to wait almost half an hour 😔 living on the hill all over again

i’m tired af but my clothes are not done 😭😭😭😭 but when they are i def will. have to wake up kinda sorta early (like 8) to catch my 10am flight. cant believe i’m gonna be home so soon life is crazy :o

hi ! i am behind D: i passed out when i got home w a headache and it’s still lingering :((( gonna take advil after i eat

on a more positive note yesterday was good day! i went to church in the morning which was very relaxing :) my brain was blessed LOLOLLL and then i went to hill to grab my laptop charger from manda bc i am forgetful af and left it there 🥲 then, i met up w one of my closest friends jess for lunch and i ate a salad from the study :3 it was very yummy and we were j catching up because i barely get to see her since we’re both so busy 😭

after, i went to powell w my friends! <33 productive 14d sesh, went thru 3 weeks of content :D then we got hungry so went back to my apt to cook rice + chicken + green beans :0 it was so good def the best meal we’ve made HAHAHAHAHA

also my friend jord got me a totoro necklace for xmas which is the most perfect kd gift ever 🥹 after studying some more, i rewatched wakanda w jamie alan and joe ! blue people 🙌 also soundtrack fire . then i crashed

great dayyy on time the next :) just one more day of grinding and i’ll be free after tmr :,) THEN I GO HOMEEEEE in 2 days woohoo

1) anderson w kimi ! productive study sesh, caught up w 14d content :D also was researching apts bc i feel like an adult

3) din w aliceeee we had two types of noodles :D def not the healthiest meal i’ve ever made but it was bomb

4) white elephant party!!!!! i got a nerf gun my brothers are gonna love it when i bring it home

hi. it’s 2:39am and i’m watching a chem lec:,D life is hard.

today was good day filled w fun moments w my friends<3 i woke up early (ok 9am isn’t even early but these days it is for me) to eat bplate w miss pauline!!!!! she da best. i loved waffle. then we grinded at anderson. we sat near the window and it was so beautiful :o i was in awe. def made studying much more enjoyable 10/10 experience. also pauline is vv studious and focused which encouraged me to put on my a game 🤝 thank you pauline.

then, i met w a friend from my writing 2 class to do peer review! she’s so sweet :) we worked diligently and finished within an hour woooo! afterwards, i walked home to cook a late lunch- i made an omelette and hashbrowns LOLOLLL i just like breakfast food a lot. then, i watched tvd (ofc) + watched chem lec. then, i went to eat din w kimi!!!! we had viet food in sawtelle which was yummy. the bún noodles were a bit thicker for some reason LOLOLL but w the veggies and everything it was solid meal. i would recommend :D next time, i’ll be bold and try the pho :p we got boba too and sat there talking for such a long time HAHAHAHA like literally about everything. i feel like w kimi i can talk so openly and comfortably , which i’m super grateful for :) she’s amazing

then,, we went to johnny’s for kappa wine night! SUCH YUMMY WINE i’m still thinking about it. like it was fr good. the game we played was so difficult i messed up so early on and had to chug 😀 but it tasted good so it was fine LOLOLLL i just rly enjoyed being w everyone bc i’ve been a lil mia these days w studying and doing my own thing. so it was def a good break from all da stress

now i am on couch and watching chem lec. D: i think imma go to bed soon tbh bc i was supposed to teach breakout session for bls tmr but we have no students T-T so i have the whole day to study tmr anyways hdheja

hi. it is the first of december. merry xmas <3

i def wanted to go to bed an hour ago but my childhood best friend called me and we were talking about life for too long

today i intended to wake up early to do hw however i had such bad cramps i was bedridden T-T but after taking advil i was okay. then, i met up w joe to do ghi podcast but def just ended up talking about very deep introspective questions and thinking too much. :,D very fun times

then i took my final woooo it went v well dubs 🤝 then i birded to apt and then back to campus to watch my viet students do their final presentations!! they did so well i’m so proud <3 then i was supposed to tutor for atp but thankfully my student canceled on me ekdhskwk bless bc i was tired. then i went home, made a fire dinner, watched vampire diaries bc i am addicted, then went to gayley heights w joe to continue working on ghi. adi was there too hehe. v good progress :] def shouldve started studying chem today rip but that’s tmr’s problem. also my roommate got me gummy bears today which were v delicious. also i ran into manda coincidentally and that made my heart so happy <3

last day of nov :o time rly does fly

i took my public health final and it went rly well!! i also finished my last assignments for that class so now i’m officially done. wish i devoted more time into it tbh bc i rly love public health, but ended up spending more of my focus on chem + writing this quarter :,( but still v good class i recommend

afterwards, i walked to tj’s to grocery shop! i needed to buy veggies bc i do not have any and i need nutrition :D ended up buying broccoli, mushrooms, stuff for breakfast. not too much bc i’m going home next week anyways lollll

i made lunch and it was goood. rice + broccoli + nem nướng, which is like one of my fav types of protein ever. reminded me of home :,) then, i ubered to my new babysitting job! the kiddo is two years old 🥹 so adorbs even tho he was rly shy hahahah still v smiley tho :] i’m excited to get to know him! i also met his grandma and dad who were rly kind. SUPER nice house in brentwood i was in awe. beautiful grand piano too! i’ll start in winter quarter hehe

then, i took the bus back to my apt and then went to the hill to visit kayla, gian, + steph for a bit! it was very good to see them since it’s been a while. they’re v v studious and focused so i didn’t stay for long :D they’re such champs. then, i met w jay for a bit and he swiped me a smoothie <3 love my twin. then i went to anderson to study w adi, and then jay came by after a bit too! it was pretty productive,, i rly like the library there it’s very peaceful. i’ll go again tmr in the daytime when there’s more sunlight. i listened to a lot of beabadoobee + cigarettes after sex for some reason. was in the mood ig LOLOL

i went home at 9ish, made dinner, watched vampire diaries, did a little work (very little tho bc im pooped tbh), and now going to bed :) it was lonngggg day but good day. excited for tmr 💛

side note: damon salvatore is so hot im not even watching this show for the plot anymore he’s just so nice to look at. and i love his character

hai. i am back in la! WOOO

i flew back in the morning,,, def almost slept in too much and could’ve missed it LOLLLLL thank u mommy for waking me up :D my friend alyssa picked me up from da airport bless her soul. i got home, made spicy noodles my mom gave me, then went to my writing 2 lec! there, i learned that my final paper that i wrote in an entire day last week is graded on completion…. 😄 mixed feelings bc ofc this is great news since i don’t have to write a revised essay and can focus on my other classes, but also i spent sm energy on it that it kinda sucks T-T oh 🐳 on the way to the hill i met w yas for a bit hehhee

i just got home after having din w e <3 ty for swiping me in and hanging w meee🥰 should’ve taken a pic darn i forgot 🙁 now i have a meeting for a class assignment, then imma go to alyssa’s apt to study for our public health final tmr ! :) good to be back

i just wanted to come on here and say that i wish by 1d is one of the best songs i’ve ever listened to.

today was chill day! i woke up, did laundry, some studying for finals, drove my sibs to swim, dyed my hair back to black 🙈 i also got chicken nuggets today and watched a beautiful sunset while driving :)

summary of thanksgiving break!

technically my time at home isn’t over yet but i wanted to hop on to tumblr w the kappas :) so here i am hehe.

i haven’t been home since september which doesn’t sound like an awfully long time tbh but for me it’s been a while. i missed my fam and my sibs a lot, so i was super excited to fly back. i’m sitting in my dining room writing this and it still doesn’t feel real. like whenever i go home it just feels like i never left :0 it’s such an odd, out of body feeling. anywaysssss i love fall in alameda bc of the changing leaves and the crisp air. like the bay weather is where i thrive i’m channeling my inner rory gilmore rn i’m so at peace. taking sm pics here inspired me to make a photo dump ig so i did FULL SEND :D subtle plug it is @_huongthy . that’s my viet name hehe. i like posting pics without judgment for my friends it’s so relaxing

i’ve been hanging out w my cuzzos and sibs a lot- walking around the neighborhood, grabbing boba, watching community + other movies. it’s always a good time w them. i also saw my childhood friends for a bit and imma hang out w them tmr too <3 we text and call all the time but in person is just different. OH YA i also watched black panther and i loved it. so sad and so good. still thinking about it now

i spent a lot of money on makeup today too. but i’m hyped for them to come (I GOT SAILOR MOON PALLETE) bc i rarely buy makeup so this is a bday gift for myself … ;) that’s how i’m justifying it at least. today was fish (that’s my lil bro btw for those who don’t know his nickname LMAO), but he was sick :,( poor boy. first day being 8 and he’s bedridden :(((( hope he feels better soon. we were gonna hang out in sf today but those plans fell through. i have so much schoolwork and studying to do sadly bc i have two finals on week 10 sjdhksjs but it’s ok i’m hanging in there. almost thereeeee :) i’m excited for winter break i’m literally gonna be back here within a week LMAO and the fam is going to oahu again and vegas as well. oahu is one of my fav places ever and fun fact i’m going w my friends for spring break too AHAHSHHAJA i’m practically living there this year. so crazy. and very looking forward to exploring da island w them. anyways this is EXREMEELY lengthy i bet no one is gonna read this far

5/19/22 - my fav parts of this quarter

This quarter was def wild. So many new people, events, crazy embarrassing this I did. A lot of the things I did was out of my comfort zone, but in a good way because I was able to grow and learn so much. I feel like I am a new person in some ways. The people I have met are so amazing, kind-hearted, and have become one of the most important people in my life <33 Our spontaneous adventures are super memorable, but I also love just chilling and relaxing and talking about life with them. although a lot of it was stressful and i cried multiple times, it is such a wonderful quarter that i do not regret
