Time's up!

I concocted a BRILLIANT tickle game this weekend. It's called "Time's up!"

First, you get your lee comfy. Stroke their hair, whisper affirmations, use your most relaxing voice. Get them to close their eyes. Keep this up for several minutes. Give the best care you can give. And then, when you're ready, say "time's up!" and GRAB their arms, pull them up over their head, and tickle their worst spot for a few seconds. 5 seconds? 30 seconds? Change it up. It shouldn't be a long tickling, but it should be intense. And then go right back to full relaxing care mode. Repeat as many times as you can (we played this game for over an hour straight last night).

Once your lee knows the rules, you can start varying the time between ticklings. You can do two time's ups 5 seconds apart if you want to. Maybe longer care breaks mean longer ticklings. Play around with it. Be unpredictable. Experiment.

This game should be spent mostly in care mode. This will result in your lee slipping into hysterical, silent laughter while you run your fingers through their hair and go "it's okay. You can relax. You're safe. It's okay."
