1. "Five second rule!" while scrubbed, after dropping a sterile scalpel on the floor (no they did NOT pick it up again but I swear everyone's buttholes puckered)

2. (spoken during the closing of a particularly long and difficult case) "Nurse - my tunes." :heavy metal starts blasting:

3. Gently to a fretful patient, pre-anaesthesia: "It's going to be okay. I promise, I've dealt with worse." As soon as the patient is unconscious: "This is literally the worst thing I've ever seen."

4. [okay this one was a med student] "Wowwww, that's so gross!!" Reg: "Please remember that [patient] is awake for this procedure." Student to patient: "Oh my god. I am so sorry, that was really unprofessional - " Patient, cheerfully, also engrossed with what's happening inside them on the screen: "Nah - it's, like, super gross, right?"

5. [another procedure where the patient couldn't be put under GA] Patient: *starts singing country roads midway through the procedure* Surgeon: *shrugs and joins in with surprisingly good harmony*

this image? we have every reason to think it is a cucumber, like it was made in clay models in burials period, it's painted green, it's on the small side of things (9.6 cm or 3 3/4 inch)

oh right and it was placed on a model offering table with small model bread and drinking cup

2025 is a good number, it’s a quarter of the way through the 20 hundreds and it’s got that nice set of 2s separated by only a 0. not bad. whatever happens this year at least it’ll be happening during a good number 😌

Gonna be honest: I put the CD in my backpack going home from school one day and when I got home it was shattered into about 20 pieces and then I never told anyone I broke it. I don't think anyone noticed since I was the only one playing it, not that I even recall why I needed to bring the CD to school at all.

I do, however, have a complete backup of my computer that was running it somewhere. My family's been copying games over from computer to computer for thirty years now, my dad is still running Master of Orion from our original floppy disk install, just in DOSBox.

That makes a lot of sense! I also had Castle of the Winds that did a similar thing, just the first section was shareware and the later 2/3rds of the game was the paid for part. It was a little earlier though, Wikipedia says it was 1989.

On the other hand, although my copy said Gazillionaire Deluxe, I never had the option to edit the planets? And I had a lot less ships than the LP Archive version did. I've never figured out why my deluxe was so much less.... deluxe.
