We all agree that Josephine “I can destroy Caralina's marriage with four words and the proper glove left on the proper table” Montilyet would lock onto someone as soon as she hears them muttering something unkind about her Inquisitor (especially if the other person mutters the term “knife ear” or “ox” around if her SO is an elf or qunari) but she wouldn’t outright ruin them. She’s subtle about it, going out of her way to inconvenience their life as best as she can as soon up until they get her to the point where she can’t contain her anger. It takes a lot to make her angry but she’s fiercely protective of the people she loves and has a breaking point like any other person.

Oh they want to make a deal with this person? Too bad, the person suddenly can’t make a deal with them or make eye contact.
