The city is in a state of alert. An unknown witness has claimed to see someone coming out of a big light and later on reported that while looking through the ‘hole’, a new and strange city appeared on the other side. The witness has been held in custody for further inquiring and his royal highness, the king, has declared a strict curfew that demands that no one is to leave their houses or wander around once the sun has set. Any citizen that is caught breaking the royal decree will be immediately taken into custody and imprisoned. Any resistance or insubordination will be punished accordingly. Any suspicious acts or behavior is expected to be reported immediately and those who refuse to do so will be held under the accusation of treason, which is punishable by death.

For those who were not fortunate to get a clue, we bring you a second task. Your muse is not safe anymore. For some unknown reason, the time warp is not as stable as it would expected to be. The fact that time is passing and people that do not belong in that timeline are spending too much time in it, is slowly making things change -- which is not supposed to happen. The fact that people from the past are in the future and vice versa has created a glitch and opened a portal. The portal is tiny as for now and is nothing but a small peephole from which anyone can peek into the next world. The images that this witness has seen are of the future -- Seol, 2018 -- and of the city’s buildings, streets, and so on. As you can imagine, the shock was immense and that glimpse should NOT have happened at all. 

The information above has been announced around town, through a decree read out loud for a gathered together crowd. 

For this task, your muse’s objective is to reach the local where the portal is located without being caught which is not going to be easy at all. The royal palace is closed and heavily guarded; the streets are being monitored and there are guards everywhere, so any suspicious or abnormal behavior will cause them to be held and taken into custody. (by all means, if you want your muse to go to jail, go ahead, just be sure to be realistic with the treatment they’ll receive in there because they’re bound to be tortured for information if they don’t cooperate. 

To fulfil this task, you can:

- write a solo with their reaction (200+ words )

- write a para/script with another mun/muse who is participating in the event with this situation as a scenario

- we don’t see this task as “mandatory”, but if your muse is participating in the event, we expect them to be interactive in it or it wouldn’t make sense for them to be there in the first place, so we would love to see your take on a situation like this.

The shock is real, their face is not the one they know yet no one can explain why that is because to them, it looks normal – but your behavior doesn’t.

For this task, you can:

The day starts like any other. 100% of the population have their own morning rituals, things they do every day, actions repeated without the realization of its consistency. Getting up, whining for another extra five minutes, shower, get ready, leave, head to work or school. Rinse and repeat. But what if those routine-like actions suddenly start feeling a little too familiar? What if suddenly all the conversations sound repeated, what if you know exactly how everything is going to play out before it does?

Have you ever had that feeling that something has happened before? That you have had that conversation or met someone in that exact place you are standing at? Try having that feeling every day and not knowing why. You can’t tell if you did something for that to be happening to you or not, but it simply does. 

When midnight strikes, a soft magic seems to be out to play and with its mischievous behavior, comes too much mayhem. You will wake up thinking it’s a brand new day until you turn on the TV and you see the exact same news you saw the day before. Tv channels these days... right? But wait until you look at the date on that display led outside or the date on the newspaper. And that’s not even the worst because that feeling of déjà vu won’t leave as you see the same people and have the same conversations you’ve had. Maybe you bump into that one guy again on your way out; maybe you miss the train... again. And once you’re done with that strange day of yours, you think that maybe a good night’s sleep will do it... except it doesn’t and you’re back into that seemingly endless loop.

Let’s break this down, shall we?

- You’re stuck in an endless time loop! (Congratulations! Chronos is out playing again, what a douche...)

- This time loop is not exclusive to one group of individuals, no, the god is much more wicked than that... There is one loop for each individual which means that everyone is affected by the déjà vu and everyone’s days are resetting, BUT not in the same loop for everyone. It’s basically as if every individual were in a loop of their own, where their day is being reset but because they are trapped in different loops, they won’t ever have their deja vu together;

- Which takes us to the next thing: because the target is having their deja vu in a different loop, this means that while Muse A is in a loop that is set on the 3rd, Muse B will be in a different loop, perhaps during the 2nd. This means that they are both repeating their days but in different timelines -- which is why people will think you’re crazy if you tell them you had that conversation already (because they will either be some days behind or several ahead). Bottom line is: you will both sound crazy to each other (which is great ~)

- However, you better not go all out with the crazy. Mentioning what is happening to you will result in induced pain (father Chronos isn’t the most benevolent god out there...) and you will feel that pain every time you try to reveal what is happening to you. 

- You are free to change whatever you want, after all this is a great opportunity to correct that little mistake you did that day, right? But beware... changes can have disastrous consequences so be wise regarding those. (or not)

- No, there’s no way to break the spell... tough luck this time, kiddos ~

- OOC, this even starts on the 3rd and it will go until the 18th so feel free to start new threads for the event between these dates. After the 18th, no more starters should be posted, but you can, of course, finish any threads you have ongoing.

- IC, this situation will last 72H (which means that once the event is over, on the 18th, it will be only the 6th for them. just thought I’d leave that reference in case anyone wants to use it later)
