Beau strikes me as the kind of person to be like “I hate kids” even while being in denial about having like. Eight of them. The Cobalt Soul library puts her in charge of the kids reading hour and she complains VICIOUSLY and then they try to replace her and she’s like “NO.” A kid complains about their parents ONCE and they end up sleeping at her and Yasha’s more often than their house. Veth asks her to do a lesson at the camp and she’s like “UGH do I have to? I hate children” while she’s holding a baby and correcting a teenager’s math homework and letting a giggly toddler hide under the long part of her robes and interrupting herself mid-argument to go “Hey, TJ, put that sword down, Mom said no blades until you’re 12, okay!”

FINISHED! I'm always waiting for @kaladinkholins to post new dissertations of the series, so when I saw the fanfic I went there straight away. And I love the portrayal of Mizu's emotions there, because the most complicated battle she has to fight is with herself and the stereotypes she has adopted. So, I took a tiny portion of the fic for practicing. Thanks for the inspiration :) I'm sorry Ringo is not here. It's not fair, but I still need to learn how to draw him (this is the only reason I've not drawn him yet).

My main interest is Japanese micropoetry like haiku, tanka, and haibun, but all poetry is welcome! Please note that the 5-7-5 syllable structure is NOT a requirement and is something of a myth (https://www.graceguts.com/essays/urban-myth-of-5-7-5). Even Japanese haikuists don't use it, unless they're writing in a very traditional style.
